“At no point was I dissatisfied with any aspect of my care. I have been impressed with the care I have received from my initial consultation through to aftercare. I hope my sight will continue to improve, but I would recommend this serive to a friend.”

“I have long considered laser surgery and was well aware that I would swap the ability to read without glasses with the ability to see distance without glasses. The process that I have gone through with optical Express has been friendly and clearly explained, as have the likely outcomes but I am dissapointed that my distance vision isn't as good as it was with glasses. I am told I still have better than 20 20 vision, which may be correct, but its still not as good as I had hoped it would be. On balance, I would get it done again if I could go back in time, as the pleasure of not wearing glasses whilst doing many activities is tremendous.”

“I feel that this enhancement surgery was a lot more painful than i expected, it also envolved a lot more recovery time than expected and if i had known this before i would not have gone through with it. I am however very pleased with the results as i no longer am needing to wear glasses.”

“I am 33 years of age and considered laser surgery for the last 10 years. I wished I had done the surgery sooner however at least now the technology has improved. My expectations before the surgery was that I would have 20/20 vision or better. Unfortunately one eye has not reached that whilst the other has come out better than 20/20. The result is that yes I can see well without glasses however the imbalance is causing some uncomfortable symptoms and side effects such as migraines, nausea and the feeling of being tired. However I am looking forward to hopefully correcting this within the next few months and eventually gaining great vision in both eyes.”

“The pre-consultation went very smoothly and so did the laser treatment. The aftercare took me by surprise as the first few days were quite uncomfortable due to debris being under the contact lenses. After getting used to the different eye drops my sight is slowly on the mend, although still hazey, I'm assured that they will continue to improve.”

“Excellent pre-op service as I was very nervous, staff were patient with all my questions and numerous visits. After op was a little more painful for the first 3 days then expected, but that went within a week. It took about 6 weeks before I started to see clearly - this I wasn't expecting. But after that the improvements were noticeable day by day (especially after being given new drops). Very pleased now and would say I was glad I did it.”

“the sight has been good, but with little impairment during the night and long distance slightly blurry, but overall good vision. I sometimes get dry eyes, which i was informed about overall the decsion was a good and am glad i have done it. i no longer have to worry about contact lenses falling out when swimming and have to pack sufficient about of lenses when going on holiday. I had a very high presription, so the lenses in my glasses had to be thinned a significantly. Laser surgery has now reduced the cost in the long term.”

“I would recommend surgery to anybody. They go into depth about what happens during and after the procedure. The surgeon and the staff are very reassuring. If you're thinking about, just do it.”

“i've had plenty of eye tests done and a lot of being told to keep my eyes wide open and not blink, harder than it sounds. overall though everything has been explained leading up to the initial surgery. After the surgery was a couple of days of discomfort and feeling like I had sand in my eyes but once that had passed I did start to notice my vision becoming clearer. Its now been about 2 weeks and my right eye is clearer than its ever been however my left eye is still healing.”
