“leading up to the laser eye surgery i was very nervous. On the day of surgery my vision and general health of my eyes was checked which was reassuring that eye surgery wouldnt be done if there was a problem. The surgeon was very professional and felt that my needs had been catered for during the surgery. Surgery itself was very quick and uncomfirtable at times. After the surgery was a bit of a rush to get me out of the room. Would have been better if there was a dark resting room that we can stay in for at least 10-30 mins because it can be a traumatic experience for some, and the rush to get the next patient in doesnt always help. After care appointments have been really good and helpful that i am getting professional advice about the care of my eyes.”
“As above, but very disappointed with appointment system. Would have liked to go to Guildford but store not open on Saturdays which I think I should have been forewarned!
A number of appointments were cancelled and venues changed leading up to Christmas. Appointments could not be booked more than three weeks in advance because of restrictions of computer booking. Hopefully this will be updated before my husband comes to have intraocular replacement in the summer!”
“I'm glad that I can still read close by with no glasses, which helps a lot for my work. Distance isn't perfect yet, but stil wait and see if it'll change in the next few months. I'm overall satisfied with the level of service at the clinic, and I have already spread the word among the colleagues. Hope they will find the same exciting experience of getting better eye sight after so many years of wearing glasses or contact lenses.”

“Really pleased with surgery overall. I have had to wait around quite a lot for appointments, often waiting for more than 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. This has tainted the experience slightly, however I would still go through it again as the results are worth it and I just hope it lasts!”
“The recovery period with LASEK was for me quite slow and this can be disconcerting but the change in week 2-4 has been dramatic and reassures me I'll get perfect vision in the next few months.
Abit more painful on day 2/3 than expected but the results are worth the initial discomfort and you are warned about this.
The only concern is I was unable to drive for 2 weeks due to dry eyes and this was very difficult so I think abit more warning/foreward planning might be needed.”
“Overall i am happy with the experience - my distance vision has vastly improved and i appreciate that my close and middle distance vision will continue to improve. i am happy that if i am still experiencing difficulty in these areas in two or three months I can have this amended with laser treatment. Staff are always polite and courteous if on some occassions a bit rushed.”
