“I am very happy with my sight now,though I am experiencing some glare. The procedure was very fast, though quite uncomfortable for the rest of the day afterwards. I didnt realise my eyes would be so bloodshot for approximatly 2 weeks, which was unpleasant. Otherwise it has been very good.”

One thing which I think could have been explained was that I would have to sit closer to my computer screen to see clearly after the operation. “Love not having to wear glasses or contact lenses all the time anymore. Particularly first thing in the morning or when doing anything active like Zumba or swimming. A bit disappointed that one eye is not as clear as the other so overall there is not the 'crispness' I was expecting to my vision, but hopefully this will rectify itself over time or with an enhancement after 3 months. The benefits still outweigh the disappointment though.”

“I used optical express as my opticians before having the operation, and they were always helpful and professional. I decided to have laser surgery and was well informed by the staff about it. I knew that ultimately whether to undergo surgery or not was my decision and I was informed of the likely outcomes. The aftercare in the laser clinic has been impeccable. The only improvement for me would be that when I call the store with a query or to re-schedule a post-op check, I should be put through to the clinic, rather than speaking to the front of the house staff, that sometimes appear too busy to deal with it effciently.”
