“Very quick recovery”

“The service I have received has been professional, of a high standard and I have been treated very well throughout my care. I am so glad I chose Optical Express with this very important surgery. It has transformed my life and my vision is now better than 20-20! I didn't expect that. It was great value for money too, costing much less than I had anticipated. Excellent, no hesitation in recommending this service to anyone thinking about have laser eye surgery!”

“The first 4 hours after the op was uncomfortable, stinging pain in both eyes with watering and a streaming nose. Cloudy, blurred vision. Then, exactly four hours after, it suddenly stopped completely. Starbursts, glare around bright lights did hurt initially. Now, four weeks later, still there but less severe and no pain unless you stare too long towards a light. Position yourself so you do not look up at a person during a conversation and wear sunglasses as much as possible. I wore a baseball cap to work to stop overhead lights bothering me and closed the office curtains so |I did not look at bright light. Driving was and still is an issue. I avoid night driving but I have seen an improvement. Long vision is amazing. I would recommend this treatment. It's well worth a few hours of stinging and a few weeks of glare!”

“I always thought that if you were 50 you couldn't have laser eye surgery, but I was wrrong. I love the freedom of perfect sight without contacts and having to use reading glasses sometimes (because of my age!) is a small price to pay for overall perfect vision. It has been a very positive experince and one I would recommend to us oldies!!”

“It's not the first time I had thought about laser eye surgery but never had the courage to do it. I then had a couple of friends at work who had it done at Optical Express and they wished they had had it done years ago. This prompted me into looking into it for myself and I completely agree - I should have done it years ago! It's so nice to see in the morning without having to reach for a pair of glasses. It was worth the torture of having to wear my glassess for a week before the surgery and not being able to wear eye make-up for a week after!!! It's total freedom!”

“I thought it would be much more difficult. The staff were great and very knowledgeable and the surgery took less time than I thought. I just need my eyes to settle down andbecome less dry now.”

“It took me a while to make the decision to have laser eye surgery wondering if it was the right thing to do but it was! I have worn glasses for nearly 30 years. Its not out of vanity that I had it done but for all the small things that some people take for granted like waking up and being able to see the clock without having to search for my glasses and being able to take my son swimming and being able to see him. I never got on with contact lenses and only wore them occasionally for a couple of hours. I would recommend laser eye surgery and would definitely recommend Optical Express. The staff made me feel at ease throughout as I was quite nervous and it was not painful at all. It was over with so quickly. Now I am prescription free!”
