“I had my treatment done just over a week ago and was genuinely surprised at how quickly I noticed a difference! All staff involved were fantastic and they really help you to feel at ease and are available to answer any questions you may have. A MASSIVE thank you to all involved!”

“the whole process from start to now has been positive with everything explained well. the result is great and I can now read without glasses and do not keep having to find them! One thing which I think could have been explained was that I would have to sit closer to my computer screen to see clearly after the operation. I am happy with the results and the quality of care given to me in such a professional manner.”

“i kept putting laser eye surgery off as i was scared the staff at optical express were fantastic and put me at ease. the surgery was was so quick and simple and i wish i had done it sooner”

“Love not having to wear glasses or contact lenses all the time anymore. Particularly first thing in the morning or when doing anything active like Zumba or swimming. A bit disappointed that one eye is not as clear as the other so overall there is not the 'crispness' I was expecting to my vision, but hopefully this will rectify itself over time or with an enhancement after 3 months. The benefits still outweigh the disappointment though.”

“From consultation, to my month check up I have been impressed by the high standard of care each member of staff has provided - consistent throughout the process. All questions were answered in a basic manner to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding. Very friendly, approachable staff from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Optical Express - while I wasn't particularly nervous, the surgeon and her staff made every care to ensure that I was as relaxed as possible.”

“I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the surgery and how quickly my vision was restored. Wish there had been a treatment centre nearer to Brighton as getting home eyes were tired and just wanted to sleep sooner than I could get home. I would reccommend laser surgery to anyone wearing glasses gives you a new sense of freedom and clarity without borders of glasses. Down side was not being able to wash face properly for first 3 weeks or so but hey small price to pay for better than perfect vision”

“overall the experience was great. Only drawback is travelling to Clane but that was bearable. Eyesight has improved and I understand it will take time to adjust to new eyes.”

“Having worn glasses for 28 years, and knowign that lens replacement surgery was an option for me, it wasn't a big decision to get rid of them! Due to the level of attention, information and care given at all times pre and post op - I have never once felt anxious, concerned or fearful of what was going to happen to me ! EVERY member of the team here in Edinburgh have been FANTASTIC ! I don't know why I didn't do it years ago ! Derek in particular put me at ease from day one and not once have I felt like 'just a number' ! On the day of the op - it was more like a quick check up at the GP than eye surgery! On day two each week, my vision had improved and has improved beyond my wildest dreams !! I would recommend it to anyone and have been doing ! And look forward to seeing you all fro my check ups in the coming months - cannot speak highly enough of Optical Express - THANK YOU !!!!!”

“I have been well looked after from start to finish. Staff at local shop and at hospital were lovely and all was explained thoroughly. The procedure was not painful and the results are wonderful. No glasses would recommend this to anyone.”

“It's been great, although quite reserved to star twith the team were reassuring and explained the whole process from start to finish (after care) to take away the unknown fear of the treatment. My eyesight has improved no end and I would certaily recommend this to any friends or family.”
