“Having suffered with recent inconvenience of contact lenses ie falling out and the constant feeling of 'having something in my eye' I decided to speak to friends and colleagues that have had laser eye surgery. They spoke very highly about the results and in particular Optical Express and I opted to have the surgery at the Merry Hill store. 4 weeks on I am very happy with the results, and save for a little difficulty lately when driving at night (glare, starbursts) I have noticed a big improvement. “I was slightly sceptical about the whole 'Laser eye surgery' procedure before hand but was put at ease by the proffesionalism and friendly nature of the staff. Every stage of the process was explained fully and in terms I could easily understand. All I will say is listen to the advice given after surgery and don't think 'I know better'. Rest well and let your eyes heal properly. Also, have someone understanding and caring to help with your aftercare. I am very happy with the results of the surgery and would definitely, and already have recommended to family and friends.”
“Very good, first night a bit sore but vision next day was a real eye-opener (pun intended). In the car to the after day check up - My wife couldn't believe the signs I could read and when (much earlier than she could).
Everything is now the "correct size" - watching HD-TV is a pleasure. Some halo rings around streetlights at night, but much less than I anticipated, and I have no problems driving or running at night.
I wish they'd had this when I was in my twenties (and that I could have afforded it), the years I've lost wearing glasses - playing football etc.
I can't recommend it enough, especially if you have a relatively high prescription so could not exist without glasses.”
