“My op days were good experiences with reassurance from staff and good customer care. Follow up care was excellent by doctors/opticians. I felt any concerns were listened to and acted upon by contacting the professor when there was a concern..My only negative comment would be that in Southampton I have nearly always had to wait for my appointment and on one occasion over an hour with very little apology. However today has been fine.”

As we are from Shetland, Optical Express were very accomodating and planned my partner & I's treatment around when we would be on the mainland.
I was quite nervous, especially since I already have Duene's Syndrome (a muscle deformaty) in one of my eyes, but they were very reassuring. But as soon as I got in the chair to get my treatment I was fine. I never felt a thing.
Afterwards, our eyes were uncomfortable. But after a couple of hours sleeping and using the drops they provided, we woke up and could already see a difference. The next day our eyes were better than they've even been which was shown in our check-ups.

“Be realistic in your expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised. The benefits far outwiegh waiting the time needed to adjust. The worst case scenario is that you will still need some correction, but this will be far cheaper and less inconvenient to always wearing glasses. As a former contact lens wearer, some 25 years, the eyes became to dry and this option ceased to be feasible. This treatment is unbelievable when yopu realise you no longer rely on spectacles.”
