“Optical express puts you at ease, ensuring your visual journey is a relatively simple one. The Lasik procedure that I had only took 5 minutes and now I can see fine, perfectly in fact. I would definately recommend this to anyone my age becuase why waste money on glasses or contact lenses anymore?”

“Laser surgery has allowed me to live 'outside the box'. By that i mean that i always felt that i was living life in a tv when i had glasses on. Now i feel free and strangely, younger!”

“i was very satisfied with all that has gone on, surgery, customer care, and the running of optical express at southampton west quay. and i would recommend it to anyone who was scared or thought it could be painful or uncomfortable. if i had a problem i would have it done again tomorrow!! very happy !!”

“Best thing I've done for my eyes. I no longer have to reach for the glasses in the morning just to see where I'm going. It's a very liberating feeling. Very glad I went ahead with the surgery. Would definitely recommend it.”

“After my husband had his eyes lasered 4 years ago and seeing the difference. I have saved and only wished I could of done it sooner, wouldnt hesitate to recommend to friends and I already have. Best thing I have ever done.”

“the experience of having the treatment itself was much as i expected it to be. discomfort for the rest of the day a nd night, but fine by morning, able to work etc.”

“I found it a little stressful but it was over in a flash (please excuse the punn). Uncomfortable until I awoke from my sleep on the first day and then better than antisipated. Now for the first time in my life (I was born short sighted) I can see in the morning and haven't stubbed my toe or fallen down the stairs sincel. My husband hasn't had to go on the morning glasses hunt either. Thanks Optical Express”

“Laser surgary has changed my life as I have worn glasses since I was 11 and always used contact lenes when doing extreme sports (wind always was a issue moving the lens). I would recommend the Optical Express service to any one that asks.”

“After purchasing some very nice sunglasses for a trip I decided i'd like to wear them on a more regular basis without having to wear contact lenses so I enquired about laser eye treatment. After a lot or research on providers care and cost I opted to come for a consultation at Optical Express. During the consultation the staff put me at complete ease, so much so that I decided within 5 minutes that i was going to go for it.... if the price was right of course (which it was). The treatment day came and i was looked after very well by the staff and kept informed at every step. Since then i have had no problems and have been very happy with my decision. Its amazing and has really changed my life”

“Astigmatisim 5.5 in the left eye, 3.5 in the right eye, and its gone, all gone, vision is perfect. It really has improved my quality of life, after wearing glasses nearly 40 years. Would definitly recomend.”

“A friend of mine had laser eye surgery with Optical Express about the same time as I was thinking over the pro's and con's of surgery. I decided, after her protestations of how wonderful it was, to have a consultation. I had to wait a while for my surgery due to being in another part of the country for University, but was counting down the days. The surgery itself was not the most comfortable experience but the results cannot be argued with. It took a while for the realisty to sink in, and I appreciated it most being able to see the clock and recognise my mother in the swimming pool!! My eye sight is brilliant now, and I love not having to rely on glasses and contact lenses. Its a totally new lease of life, and I am so glad I went through with it!!”

“Although researching into any potential procedure is a good idea I now realise that too much research can be a bad thing. Inparticular watching videos on youtube terrified me to the point of having second thoughts. The whole procedure was so quick and pain free I now wish id had it done years ago. My quality of life has improved dramatically and I am now able to participate in my hobbies without the burden of having to wear my glasses. Although the procedure can appear costly, I feel it is an investment in my future :) thankyou”

“I literally wake up every day, seeing the details of clouds and tiny details on leaves of the trees every morning. It surprises me the clarity and quality of vision that I now had- and I can't believe how I managed before! Hopefully I'll no longer have frown lines on my forehead from constantly trying to squint and instead, I'm actually seeing people calling me from a distance, long-time away from not realising I was ignoring all my friends. Optical express have been brilliant, always helpful”
