“the surgery itself was so quick and the effects immediate. being able to see everything is amazing and I can now swim without wearing prescription goggles and don't have to worry about having prescription sunglasses either. Having all round vision is amazing!”

“Quite nervous to begin with in making the decision, once made, could'nt wait for it to go ahead. Very happy from day 1 but the freedom was noticed when the drops were stopped and I could use make-up with-out a magnifying mirror! Buying my train ticket using the machine and card to pay without having to fumble with glasses and card and hand bag. I feel much younger and in control of my life. Thank-you very much to all.”

“I had a very comprehensive pre-surgery eye test which put me at ease that my prescription was properly assessed. Surgery was quick (30 secs) but quite painful, but one thing that isn't mentioned is that the procedure gets easier as it goes along. Recovery for the first 4 hours was painful, and eased slightly by leaning forward, but after that time it was like a switch had been flung and my eyes felt considerably better. The next day it was just like a small bit of grit in my eye, and 2 weeks later no pain whatsoever. I now have 20:10 vision which is an improvement over my previous glasses use, and virtually no haloing from lights.”

“it so good not to wear glasses for distance as l couldn't see people far away they had no eyes. i can play darts with no glasses go shopping see the right sizes etc.,”

“The staff were very helpful and reassuring in what was a procedure I was nervous having done. It was much better than anticipated and I have had no problems since , other than occasional dryness of the eyes. The after care has been excellent and I would have no problem in recommending optical express to others.”

“To live a life with out glasses and to do all the simple things in life and be able to see what your doing at the same time is a treat ! “I was considering having laser eye surgery for a long time and I thought now is the time to improve my vision, my eye sight was very bad and now I feel I can do anything without complication. On the day of the surgey I was nervous,but the staff very very helpful and kept me calm and talked me through what was going to happen. During the surgery I could not belive what was happening it all happened so quick and then I was in the recovery room. Only had minor discomfort for an hour after since then everything has been great apart from a little dry eye. 1 month after the surgery I have better than 20/20 Thank you to everyone in Optical Express Renfield Street!”

“the reason i wanted lens replacement was at work i had to constantly put on and take off my glasses now i can get on with daily tasks with such ease. using the computer to reading my kindle even shoppong is easier as i can just read lables thank you so much for making my life more fun again”

“it was an amazing day. I knew everything they were doing. they were all very helpful. I was scared about having it done but the people made me feel better. once I had my eyes done I could see better. the after care was amazing. it is the best thing I have ever had done & I have had it done for 3 years now & I can still see just as good as I did when I had it done.”

“It has been 2 weeks since I have had laser eye surgery. My eyes had a blood bruise which is now more or less invisible. I have nothing but good things to say about Optical Express, Cardiff. Patient care is phenomenal and nerves were non existent once I spoke to the surgical team. My sister has booked to have her eyes done next month!”
