“When having the surgery the staff were very pleasant and calming. Made me feel at ease throughout as they spoke me through each part of the procedure. I was surprised at how quickly the procedure took. After care has been fantastic and I am now enjoying a better life by having my eyes done. Would recommend to anyone.”

“I had RLE surgery late March / early April, it was totally painless and amazingly quick. All the staff at Westfield were friendly and professional and put me completely at my ease. Having been very short sighted - I'd worn glasses / contacts since I was 5 - I'm still getting used to being able to see when I open my eyes first thing in the morning or get up in the night to go to the loo.”

“the procedure has improved my quality of life. being keen on bird watching and driving it has made my life much more enjoyable. there is a saying that "some people know the cost of everthing and the value of nothing". this have proved to me that i now know "the true value of good sight". I would definitely recomend the procedure to anyone i know and indeed have already done so to several people. The procedure was painless and the after care excellent. Money truly well spent.”

“Right from agreeing the finance package through to experiencing surgery and aftercare the whole experience has been designed to make it an easy and straightforward experience. I was nervous initially about doing anything with my body and this took the anxiety away. All staff were vrey helpful and explained the processes in detail. The surgeon made me feel very at ease and was extremely accurate in the after response. (I was told to go out to eat around 4 hous after the surgery and my eyes stopped running directly before that!) The fact that I was able to get back to work the next day was very good and also to experience an immediate improvement in sight the next day was amazing!”

“I feel that the surgery was a worthwhile and life changing experience for me as it has made many things much more convenient .As I am a motorcycle rider helmets and glasses have always clashed with each other , often having glasses dictated which helmet choice I had to make but I no longer have to bother with that-the only downside is the loss of nght vision I have experienced due to the surgery but I am hoping through time this will improve along with the "halo effect" I have from lights at night.Overall I would say it was a good experience with the benifits outweighing the downside to the operation.”

“Had the start of cataracts so driving at night was really difficult. Was also wearing 2 or 3 different kinds of specs for reading, distance, tv, computer etc, although I did have varifocals for general use. The best thing about the operation is the fact I no longer need glasses - and can now see to apply my make up!.. Everything is much sharper and more colourful”

“Laser eye surgery I would recommend to family and friends. It has given me freedom from contact lenses and glasses for long distance. I still have to wear reading glasses but that it down to my age.”

“I initially visited for laser treatment consultation which proved to not be the solution for me. I am eternally grateful to the optician I saw who was open and honest with me in what I would be suitable for. I subsequently plucked up the courage to go for a further consultation at the Bridgewater Hospital and again was encouraged by the optician I saw. I had my treatment in March, first one eye and then a week later the second eye and so far everything is just brilliant. No more glasses, no more contact lenses. My treatment throughout by all the staff involved from sales/admin all the way through to the medical staff has been excellent. I have seem the same optician again at Sheffield for my follow ups and have very happy with the service received. I would not hesitate to recommend this procedure.”
