“Optical Express have been icredibly helpful and reliable throughout the process. I have to travel a lot due to my work and the location of my appointments was very flexible. All the staff have been friendly and professional. My surgeon was very reassuring and made me feel confident about the surgery. As soon as I sat up from the surgery I could tell that my vision had improved significantly! I have already been recommending laser eye surgery through Optical Express to my friends and family.”

“Overall good experience. However, before surgery, no-one warned me about the discomfort in the hours following surgery in my initial consultation. It wouldn't have put if off if they had forwarned me. Other than that, it was perfect.”

“The surgery itself was very daunting, although explained before hand, it was still a nervous experience. The sensation during the operation is unusual and hard to explain. However, the results of my surgery are unbelievable and life changing. The help and support i've received from all staff at the Livingston store has been amazing and have even made the time for unexpected appointments, to which i have been seen on the same day. Would recommend this surgery to anyone considering it.”

“The operation itself was over very quickly, despite slight discomfort there was no pain involved with the procedure and the results were immediate. Next day I was able to see things I hadnt been able to focus on in years. Excellent results”

“Having Worn Glasses for the last 27 years and been hampered by the restrictions wearing glasses has had on my life, all I can say is I truly have beeen blown away by how much of an Improvement I have experienced in my life since having LASIK eye surgery. The standard of service from Optical Express has been second to none - and all through my journey from initial consultation to the surgery and the follow-up care I have been thoroughly impressed, kept fully informed and able to voice any concerns that I may have had (I had none!). Many Thanks to all concerned who helped me through this journey, a special mention must go to Danielle at the Liverpool One store who demonstrates just how much of a professional she is as her customer dedication was second-to-none. “I went on the 22nd of March for the first eye, everyone was so kind. I went to Bridewater hospital Manchester, I could not believe how little time it took about 20mins, then I was brought a nice cup of tea. Went home to rest, came back the next Fri to get second eye done, had op at 8.45 and came back on the train at 1pm, back in my house in Leic's just after 2pm. I am now a month down the road and I can't tell you what a difference it has made, I don't have to shout to my friend now what colour is the soap and what colour is the hair shampoo when we go to the healthclub.I am so happy with the results, everyday is a joy. To see the more clearly. Kathryn Herbert”

“After concern and nervousness about having the procedure and then making the decision to go ahead I am extremely pleased with the outcome. The results have already had a positive impact on my life in terms of improved eyesight and the convenience of not having to wear glasses for all close-up work and other activities. Optical Express have been highly professional from the outset and I have felt in safe hands.”

“I could not see anything in the distance before I had the surgery; I decided to have it after my appointment and within 2 weeks, I had the suregery and was recovering well within hours. By coming to the follow up appointments with the great staff and by keeping to the eye drops and emdication provided, I have been lucky to have very little problems with my new eyes (although looking at lights did cause difficulty due to glare) but even so it was well worth doing and I can now throw the glasses away and not have to worry!”

“I have worn glasses for the last 15 years and never thought about having corrective eye surgery until my wife booked the appointment. My only reservation was that I should have done it years before. I can not beleive how handsome I am :-)”
