“Cannot believe how lovely it has become not having to depend on my glasses ,so much more freedom when doing tasks.would recomend this surgery to anyone ,in fact my friends are probably sick of hearing about it .so thank you optical express .”

“The first tiime I went for the eye surgery, it didn't go well. I was extremely worried so they had to book for me another appointment. The second time I was in and out in 5 minutes.... and very happy. The day after I was able to drive...just a little disconfort and headhache for few days.”

“I was wearing glasses for nearly 30 years. I wish I had gone for surgery much sooner, it makes life a lot easier, esp.when it comes to sports. There's a little difference still in the eyes, the one with the higher prescription is still a little bit short sighted (0.75), but the overall vision is brilliant. Would do it again any time!”

“Having worn glasses since I was a teenager I really appreciate the freedom I have gained since having laser surgery. I have probably spent thousands on glasses over the years so the expense of laser surgery has to be weighed up against the cost of all those future spectacles I won't be buying now”

“I wanted to have laser eye surgery so I could go swimming and mountain biking without the hassle of Contact lenses or glasses. And I'm 100% satisfied! I went on a spa day this weekend and had a wonderfuls session in the pool without being nearly blind or holding my head above the water!”

“The surgery was very quick and painless. I did suffer some discomfort for the first 12 hours following my surgery which was added to by the fact that I was suffering with flu like symptoms. Overall though the experience was good and the results were well worth the cost and minor discomfort.”

“I was very pleased with the service given by all members of the Optical Express team. The surgery, despite being as uncomfortable as expected, went smoothly and i felt reassured the whole time thanks to the Technician describing what was happening. My RE is still improving but does not have the clarity of my left at this stage. I have been advised this may change within the next 6 weeks and that further treatment may be a possibility. Overall, i am very impressed with the results of my left eye, and impressed with the results on my right.”

“I had really bad eye sight in both eyes before having laser eye surgery, I wore both glasses and contact lenses. Contact lenses irratated my eyes sometimes, having laser eye surgery meant, I could wake up on a morning, not having to look for my glasses. I had prepare in advance what I was going to use either contacts or glasses to fit in with my lifestyle, now I have none of that. I would recommend it to anyone.”

“Operation was almost painless and resulted in good vision within 18 hours. Without glasses I now have better alround vision and perception, which was is better for sports. Now i don't need multiple pairs of glasses and special kit. Currently I am waiting for eyes to settle with respect to night vision, where I see more starbursts and hallos than with glasses however I am assured that this will improve. However I still feel perfectly able to drive, albeit it may possible be more tiring on long drives. So overall very positive.”

“Having gone through a lot of thinking, consultations and checks...pushed myself to lay on the table and have my eyes lasered...15mins of discomfort....4hrs of restful sleeping to 20/20 vision 24hrs later...its a no brained...very happy and looking forward to you future and many advetures!! “not too good in the first few hours. Next couple of weeks a few regrets. blur at long distance. But after three weeks. It all seems to be getting better. No more cleaning glasses!!!!!!!! Thankyou”

“It is important to be positive I guess, but to get the problems out of the way first: I am, still waiting for the night vision to get to normal and I have difficulties when exhausted but. I am glad to have the quality of vision during daylight which makes the experience worthwhile. It is early in recovery and I am slightly superstitious as I have no idea of the eventual outcome but is is nice to notice little benefits when I suddenly realise that is great to be free from spectacles..”
