“The recovery was more painful and lasted longer than anticipated, as I had to have LASEK not LASIK. My result is brilliant though and I would still do it again. It's great being able to go swimming and be able to see.”

“The procedure on the day was not as uncomforatble as expected, although post surgery pain was worse than anticipated, but lasted for about 10-12 hours, so not unbearable. I could read numberplates on cars as I was taken home, which was great. General discomfort (dryness) lasted about a month, but vision three months on is very good and overall I'm very pleased with the surgery. The staff were exceptional at all times during the surgery and post care check-ups.”

“My vision is constently improving and the comfort of my eyes compared to wearing contact lenses previously has improved dramatically. Very pleased that I went ahead with the proceedure and improving results over the coming months. Very happy with the surgery and team at Optical Express and glad I went through with the proceedure.”

“After I'd had the surgery I had some pain and vision was limited for about 2 weeks. Light was a problem for me. After good aftercare the pain subsided and I started to see better daily. I'm a Teacher and need my eyes for everything in work. I now have the best vision I have ever had. Photography Football Bird Watching are all so much easier and enjoyable I wish I'd done this 30 years ago. The pain and discomfort had faded to a distant memory, the joy of seeing the world anew is priceless.”

“Having worn glasses for 26 years before having laser eye surgery done, I was convinced when I heard excellent reports from friends who suggested their only qualm was not having done it sooner. I would agree with them! The first 5 hours or so after surgery were painful with a sensitivity to light, but already the next day my vision was better than 20:20! One month on my eyes are a bit dry at times but that should disappear soon too. The FREEDOM of being able to do all my outdoor sports without worrying about my glasses is superb.”

“I'm very happy that I finally had the laser eye surgery done and I am excited that I do not need to wear glasses anymore. I would definitely recommend this procedure to somebody who is not happy with their vision. I feel that the quality of my life improved, I experience more freedom in everyday life and in extra curricular activities.”

“I have been wearing spectacles and contact lenses over 10 years. It was uncomfortable especially while swimming. And I used to suffer muscle cramps around my neck. One day, one of my friends suggested me do the laser eye surgery to improve my eye sight. Then, I decided to do it as soon as possible, came to Optical Express and did the surgery. The surgeon and staffs are expert, patient and friendly. The surgery was done very well more than that I have been expected and post-surgery care is also very satisfying. I strongly recommend this surgery to everyone having poor eye sight.”

“I originally had latek sugury but retained some short sighted nedd in my right eye. Two years later i had further corrective surgury an this has given me exceelnt distance vision in my right.”

“Taken through the whole procedur very competently and professionally by all staff. No dicomfort whatsoever during the procedure. Instantly amazed at the result - could read right away. Short sleep after got home and no analgesia requird. Initial issues with night distance vision but had been made aware of these beforehand and was not over concerned. These have improved constantly and main issue at present is dry eyes but this also getting better. A greatly beneficial experience, supported by great staff. I recommend to everyone.”
