“After twenty years of needing glasses in order to see anything correctional surgery has been a dramatic change. The ability to see every moment of every day without glasses has been amazing. Running, cycling and even tasks such as cooking and what not are made easier with the lack of glasses slipping down or steaming up! The way I carry myself has been improved and is i feel more confident due to the lack of glasses. I whole heartedly recommend the op. to anyone who needs glasses or contact lenses.”

“From start to finish i was pleased with the treatment i received from all the consulting staff who took care of me. The actual laser experience was a bit traumatic but thankfully very short. I did experience a fair bit of pain during that first day, but again lasting only a short time and 24hrs later things were so much better.”

“I only had a mild prescription of roughly -1.5 in both eyes but i was getting migraines because I did not wear glasses except for distance activities. I went for the cheapest proceedure at ?395 an eye and even got ?150 discount due to the ambassador scheme so paid ?640. I intend to refer my girlfriend and the rate has gone up so i get another ?250 back if she goes ahead bringing the total to ?390 in total. For that price I am very glad I did it. I am getting a mild halos when driving at night but these are getting less now and should reduce much more by 6 months. Apprently this can happen with the more expensive treatment anyway. Overall very happy.”

“I am very pleased to have had it done, however, glad I only have to go through with it only once. I found the actual surgery to be a very scary experience. The surgeon was very calm and proffessional (Southampton branch). I have visited reading for my follow up appointment. I do prefer Southampton though. Im excited to wake up in the morning to find that my vision has improved over night, it's like christmas day EVERY DAY.”

“all the staff are great and very interested in how my vision currently is. Im still waiting for great improvements but do feel it is getting a little better, However there has been not a difference since my last check up.”

“I have been wearing glasses for distance only since 2009 but I started to notice my vision was getting worse and was causing me issues when playing sports and ordering from behind counter menus in cafes. I began to think about contact lenses. However I didn't want the expense or the hassle so I looked into laser eye surgery. The surgery is not pleasant but the results are worth it. It's a relief not to have worry about my vision in any circumstance now.”

“I had a bit of discomfort due to dry eyes few days ago like itchy, slight pain and tiredness and the staff consultant informed me to use the blink drops more often as i wasnt that careful about using it...overall I am a happy customer and the service of Op Exp. is fantastic and i'd recommend...Many Thanks”

“I had laser eye surgery in August 2011 and had the enhancement in December 2012. Aside form the fact that it took a while for the enhncement to be booked I am very satisfied with the job done by optical express. They answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the process I was about to undergo. The staff were very friendly and even arranged for a nurse to hold my had during the operation as I was a little nervous. My life has improved so much since I had laser eye and I would recommend it to anyone.”

“Having suffered with recent inconvenience of contact lenses ie falling out and the constant feeling of 'having something in my eye' I decided to speak to friends and colleagues that have had laser eye surgery. They spoke very highly about the results and in particular Optical Express and I opted to have the surgery at the Merry Hill store. 4 weeks on I am very happy with the results, and save for a little difficulty lately when driving at night (glare, starbursts) I have noticed a big improvement. I am informed that this recent difficulty is linked to stopping taking the Blink drops and that in the next 2 months I won't notice this. In conclusion I recommened Laser Eye surgery and Optical Express.”

“First two days after the surgery were pretty bad, but after that it just was getting better and better and now it's really good. I would recommend it to all the people with eyes sight problems.Just do it :)”

“Quick, pain-free (some minor discomfort) operation and remarkably quick recovery time with some discomfort during the first 6 or 7 hours. I couldn't believe how little discomfort I had within 24 hours of the op.”

“Very saisfied with the service and after care provided. I have recived better vision than wearing contacted lenses and I am extremley staisfied however on the day there seemed to be alot of waitng around.”

“At the start of my surgery I was only -2 on each eye so it wasn't hugely difficult to see. However, for financial reasons I decided to have the surgery and haven't looked back. The surgery went well and the aftercare has been great. Only issues I have had to contend with is sensitivity to bright lights and irritation but after you have the drops a lot of this clears up. Will recommend to anyone who needs it.”

“Overall the experience was fine, its not a particularly enjoyable proceedure, but it is amazing technology and the benefits are great. It takes a while to settle down and the initial discomfort was more severe than anticipated. A month down the line everything is fine and I am very happy with the result.”

“I had doubts as my vision was pretty poor, minus 10 in both eyes, but I have been amazed at the result. I now have 20-20 vision and whilst in the recovery period I've not been able to be as active I am now looking forward to doing things that I was normally restricted in doing because of my glasses.”

“I had worn glasses for over 15 years, and within a day of my laser surgery I had better than 20-20 vision. Having had experience bad eyesight for so long, to now be able to see can seem like a small difference to some people, but to me it has been life changing. I can't seem to stop talking about it to my friends and family. Something I would highly reccommend.”
