“Whole experience was made straight forward and was quick to get from initial consultation to eye surgery. Only downside was the wait at Nottingham of two hours prior to the surgery but the surgeon was very reasssuing through out.”

“surgery was not painful at all - it was just an interesting and strange experience. The only discomfort was in the week after the surgery during the healing process where my eyes felt sore.”

“Having worn glasses for most of my life i still can believe i don't need them anymore, and the weight of glasses around my ears and nose is no longer a burden to carry. I can see so much more clearly, move more freely and have much less strain on my eyes with a huge sense of relief. I am glad i went for this procedure and will always recommend it.”

“I have worn glasses full time since I was 7 years old and contact lenses since I was 16 years old so laser eye surgery has given me freedom I haven't known for most of my life. I am quite squeamish but every thing was explained to me really well and the staff were very professional in their approach. If I had to go back I would definitely make the same decision to go for laser eye surgery again!”

“I would recommend this to all as considering I couldnt see my own nose now even with one eye not quite there it is brilliant, lovely to see when i wake up and I can see my dog at night! no more tripping over”

“Although very fuzzy and uncomfortable (the first day) I was amazed at the detail that I could see far into the distance, for example being able to see a leaf on a tree. Its brilliant to go out walking and to be able to see everything much more clearly. I do need reading glasses now (which I was warned about) but for me being able to see and enjoy sports, drive and watch TV without glasses is great.”

“Certainly, the world is beautiful with glasses, but nothing beats the absolute freedom of looking left, right, up and down without feeling that weight on your face! ..not having to search for your eyes everytime you take them off...etc etc etc...freedom just amazing! I got freedom with my lazer search...freedom of sight, freedom to see the world in all its beauty!”

“From start to finish the process has been so much easier than expected. Read so many blogs, web pages before doing and was hesitant at first. Now... 1 month down the line I have 20/10 vision in both eyes and it has been a great and rewarding experience.”

“it's difficult to swim with strong glasses or contact lenses - to the extent that I never learned to swim more than one or two lengths. Laser eye surgery has enabled me to take swimming lessons and to complete s mile swim in open water and a number of triathlons. I should have had surgery years ago when I was playing rugby.”

“On the day of operation I was very nervous, but the staff were friendly and comforting. The result after the Op, I experienced everything which was pointed out such as watering eyes etc, but that was over within 5 hours. My vision the next day was amazing, however I am still experiencing dry eyes from time to time and at night time I have starbursts and Halos, which I hope will go away in a few months. My check ups have been great, very informative and all my questions answered.”

“After just one month my vision is very good although I do have some dryness especially in the left eye but hopefully that will settle down. I am very pleased with the result so far and especially the freedom it gives me from glasses. I would recommend the procedure to anyone and I would recommend Optical express. From the Surgeon Mr George Setatas who carried out the procedure to the staff at reception and the optometerists i have seen have all been very friendly and professional at every stage.”

“WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE THIS IS...TO BE ABLE TO SEE WITHOUT HELP..HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS IS AWESOME AS ARE THE STAFF..FRIENDLY AND EFFIECENT! AFTER ONLY A DAY HAD PRETTY GOOD VISION AND HAVE 20/20 VISION SOOO PLEASED..THE SURGERY IS SO STRAIGHT FORWARD AND DOESN`T HURT AT ALL!”

“I struggled to see anything clearly before the treatment. Glasses were an essential and I felt totally dependent on them. The staff at Optical Express explained the treatment very clearly and told me that I might still need to use glasses for reading and very close work following treatment. My eyes have taken about a month to settle down fully but I now only need to have reading glasses for very small writing or when the light is poor. Laser eye surgery is a wonderful treatment and well worth the investment.”
