“overall i was extremely happy with optical express from start to finish. everyone was so friendly and helpful and everything was explained in great detail. therefore as soon as i arrived for surgery i was immediately put at ease and felt totally comfortable in their hands. i would have no problem recommending optical express to my friends and family. thank you so much for everything!”

“I had a little post op discomfort - due not touching/cleaning around my eyes for a week! - I had a concern some weeks later,rang up and an appointment for the same day was offered and reassurance given and appropriate treatment advised. I was then followed up again and given the 'all clear'. I have found the follow care impressive supportive, many thanks!”

“Everything went smoothly and plenty of support from staff throughout the whole process. Now I can walk in the rain and see. swimming in the pool and see everything. no more steamed up glasses when cooking!”

“Thank you so much for this life changing experience. My every day life is change completely. It is so much more easier to open my eyes every morning and do not have to think about glasses or lenses anymore. Love this feeling! Cannot wait to go on my holiday and enjoy sunshine and seaside! “It's been much more affordable than anyone thinks. I had the top proceedure with a medium/high prescription. My monthly costs are only a little over what my contact lenses were costing me! I work in a vets and hygiene and saftey was my biggest problem. Glasses could get knocked off and lenses could dry out during long operations. Laser surgery has eliminated these issues as well as other benefits outside of work.”

“After my father in law had his laser eye surgery with Opitcal Express, he was keen to suggest I try it, although sceptical, I went for a consultation and decided to go ahead. I suffered discomfort on the day following surgery, but this quickly diminished over the next 48 hours. My distance vision is really good, the only thing I have to remind myself about now is taking sun-glasses with me.”

“The experience was very pleasant, straight forward and positive. I was able to have my assessment and proceed to surgery quite quickly which was good for me. I felt no discomfort and the staff were very reassuring during the surgery itself which incidentally took a total of 75 secoonds. Immediately afterwards although my eyesight was a little misty I could see much more clearly. After the surgery my eyes felt gritty but not painful. I was able to travel home by train quite easily. A few hours sleep and all was well. After care was good and I have loved being without my glasses. I use off the shelf + 2 specs for close work. Wonderful.”

“I had expected to be difficult patient. I am near to the age limit and I have diabetes and so will be slow to heal and have had a life long dry eye problem. But all my fears were groundless. The surgery was fine. My first evening afterwards would have been difficult without pain relief. I slightly overdosed on that but got through it fine when it kicked in. I had some more in the early hours and I have not taken anything since. I can say with all honesty that my eyes are more comfortable and were so almost straightaway than they have been for most of my life. No one explained dry eyes and so I wore my lenses more and more as my eyes were only comfortable then. Now I have the wonderful gift of sight and it is painless. I recommend you to anyone who will listen!”

“I have worn glasses or lenses since I was six years old. At the age of 43 I decided to take the plunge and after much research decided on Optical Express. I have been very pleased with the care I have received since my first consultation and right through the experience. My surgeon Mr Jonathon Carr could not have been more assurring and professional. The LASIK surgery itself was completely painless. I was more fascinated than concerned. I have experienced very little discomfort other than slightly dry eyes, which are easily rectified with drops. I would totally recommend the procedure, the company and the surgeon!”

“From my 1st consultaion through to post operation I have recieved good information and care. my day to day life has improved and recovery was very quick, bye bye glasses and contact lenses, I still look to reach for them from habit which is odd. Thanks Optical Express!”

“Laser eye surgery has been the best thing I've ever done. The only regret I have it that didn't get it done sooner! I had nothing to worry about on the day - 30 seconds each eye, and that was it done! The staff at Optical Express are extremely professional, not to mention friendly. The weekly and monthly check ups are a breeze. I am delighted with the results and would definitely recomend laser eye surgery with Optical Express.”

“Once the discomfort of the surgery (very similar to someone rubbing chillies into your eyes) which lasted for about 6 hours I have had very little else to worry about and my vison has been fantastic, suffer a little with dry eyes but the drops provided soon clear that problem up,”
