“The operation lasted 8 minutes with the eye anoesthatised and myself totally conscious.There was no pain and the next day i could see up close like being 30 again.There is some blurring in the eye from about 20 metres onwards but this is improving each day”

“The entire experience was fantastic. All the satff were extremely polite and helpful across both stores (stirling and glasgow). The procedure day ran like clockwork and i was seen and cared for extremely efficiently. The after care has been faultless. Having laser correction has changed my life and made me feel more confident and i am absolutely delighted with my vision. It is the best money I have ever spent and I cannot thank all the staff at optical express enough.”

“From start to finish, I had absolutely no concerns what so ever - I was put at ease by the professional service provided. Only thing I would say to patients is on the day of surgrey, take pain killers just before the proceedure, so they kick in for your trip home - once the eye drops had worn off. Overall - brilliant result, perfect vision and eye health.”

“The staff were excellent, the procedure clearly explained which put me at complete ease. The procedure has given me better vision than I have ever had even when wearing my glasses. The after care has been fantastic, Overall I am delighted.”

“To be able to see when you 1st wake in the morning fantastic, being able to see if one is using shampoo,conditioner or what ever in the shower fantastic, just not to have wear specs most of the time fantastic!!”

“The pre-surgery consultation process was thorough. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The surgery went very well, I went home as instructed, slept although by then the anaesthetic had worn off and I was in PAIN and didn't think I would ever be able to fall asleep but my body kicked in and when I woke up three hours later it was great! Since surgery, my far vision has continued to be fantastic but I am really struggling with the need for reading glasses for all close vision needs. Once my eyes have completely healed after three months though I'm hoping that prescription reading glasses will be better than the cheap 1s that I am currently using. I find it easy to read when it's bright daylight, but when it's slightly dim it's a lot more difficult. Overall though I'm pleased I had the surgery (with the proviso that it's super annoying having to rely entirely on reading glasses).”

“Really happy with the result. Just had my second eye done a week ago but my eye sight is really good already would recommend it to anybody . The staff at the shop were all really friendly and helpful. I was a little worried before I had the first eye done but the staff put me a ease. Thanks optical express.”

“Should of had it done earlier has stopped all the bother of lens and glasses. For rest of time no need for putting lens in each days and having to carry around glasses as well just in case of problems . Looking forward to going in swimming pool on holiday and being to be able to see everything under water.”

“I didn't realise just how much better your vision can be when you choose to take action to correct your vision using Laser treatment. When you are thinking about it you don't realise just how much your life is improved. No more searching for glasses in the morning. No more eye regime before bed (removing contact lenses). Just simple living.”
