“its realy good no more glases, lenses love it”

“In the first few days after surgery I did find that I experienced quite a lot of pain particularly at night and had to resort to using the numbing eye drops quite regularly to get me through. Since day 4 my left eye has been perfect and have not had any pain or trouble with vision. My right eye however, has not been so fortunate. I am yet to have any time where the right can see anywhere near as clearly as the left and at timees really struggle to see much at all. This is gradually improving but taking a lot longer than expected and I am surprised that 2 eyes can react so differently. I am just hoping that the right becomes as good as the left which I am extremely satisfied with.”

“Very happy with the consultation and the price I got, obviously its expensive but still not bad! Very nervous about the procedure, although not painful at all it is a little uncomfortable. Incredibly happy with the aftercare and the team here at Optical Express Cambridge!”

“Absolutely fantastic - highly reccommended. All the staff have always been efficient and helpful. The surgeon had a great sense of humour and all my questions were fully answered, even at scientific levels when requested. The results a phenominal at 20/12 with perfect healing after a month. The comfort is so much better than contact lenses and much more natural for doing both close and distant work. The finer details of the world are much clearer!”

“Despite what I say below, I would do this all over again, because having near perfect distance vision after wearing glasses and battling with lenses for years is worth it. However: 1. I wish just one of the people who recommended this to me had mentioned how unpleasant the actual sugery is. It's only 5 minutes of discomfort - not painful really, but stomach churning! 2. I am surprised by the extent to which my reading vision has deteriorated as a result of the surgery. 3. The glare/starbursts around lights at night are really noticeable and, after 3 months, not showing signs of getting better. I hadn't expected that. Moreover, I opted for the considerably more expensive wavefront procedure on the basis that it promoted improved night vision! Not the case for me at all - quite the opposite. 4. One of my eyes is better than the other, meaning that there is still room for improvement. A little disappointing, but not beyond what I might have expected.”

“From consultation to treatment the process was painless and efficient. After surgery, I went home, had a kip for an hour or two and when I woke up I could see. Easy as that. My eyesight was about -2 ish in both eyes. I got the cheapest surgery going and this resulted in me now having better than 20:20 vision. Stop wondering about getting it done and just do it!”

“I had a bit of discomfort due to dry eyes few days ago like itchy, slight pain and tiredness and the staff consultant informed me to use the blink drops more often as i wasnt that careful about using it...overall I am a happy customer and the service of Op Exp. is fantastic and i'd recommend...Many Thanks”

“I feel glad I got the procedure done and would recommend it to anyone who can have it done as its made my life easier and I feel much more comfortable without wearing my glasses. I can now see my wee girl from a distance little facial expression of joy when she sees me which is just the best. I am looking forward to my future without my glasses. “The operation lasted 8 minutes with the eye anoesthatised and myself totally conscious.There was no pain and the next day i could see up close like being 30 again.There is some blurring in the eye from about 20 metres onwards but this is improving each day”

“The entire experience was fantastic. All the satff were extremely polite and helpful across both stores (stirling and glasgow). The procedure day ran like clockwork and i was seen and cared for extremely efficiently. The after care has been faultless. Having laser correction has changed my life and made me feel more confident and i am absolutely delighted with my vision. It is the best money I have ever spent and I cannot thank all the staff at optical express enough.”
