“We ordered two arrangements for a family funeral by looking at the website pictures. We spoke directly with a person to order them. We ordered the same arrangements but with different colors of flowers. Firstly the flowers showed up late and not prior to the Visitation as promised. The flowers that were delivered were not the same type as what was ordered and both arrangements were exactly the same in flowers and color. To top that only one card was sent with both family's messages on the same card. We complained to a representative of Ottawa Flowers and although she was sorry offered nothing in compensation for all the mistakes. Very disappointed with a company that we personally, our Community Association and our Community in general has ordered from for years.”

“Ordered pink and white ranunculus and was told three hours before the delivery was to occur that there were no more pink ranunculus available, but that the order could be completed with white ranunculus and pink roses. I said fine, but when the arrangement arrived it was all roses, with no ranunculus in sight. And then the arrangement wilted within a few days, despite my efforts with flower food and water. Not impressed, and will be unlikely to order from you again.”

“Your delivery person wouldn't go into the box office and therefore the delivery was delayed by a day. They even posted a message that 'the person they spoke to inside..." That made no sense.”

“Sorry to say but these flowers were very poor quality. They were to be for our 41st wedding anniversary and I was so disappointed. The stems were full of mould and the leaves had insects eating the leaves. We immediately disposed of them. No, I cannot recommend this store. It might have been a "one of" but, we were the "one of".”

“Very disappointed with their delivery service. A mothers day order (placed well in advance) was delivered close to 10pm on Mother’s Day, way too late to be appreciated by our elderly mother the day of. Will not be ordering again.”

“The flowers delivered were very different from what I ordered. I spent more than I'd planned to get something with soft colours and a clear, round vase. They sent a garish blend of red and yellow in a square red vase. Since the recipient doesn't like red, they've turned my caring gesture into a slap in the face.”

“Delivery was on time but I have to say that I was disappointed in the arrangement it had an angel statue and it was not as seen on the photo on the website as it said ! It was to be a keepsake and it is not cute for the price I payed !”

“I placed an order for a birthday bouquet a full day in advance of the delivery date. On the day of the planned delivery I received an email at 12:46 informing me that part of the item was not available and asking if I was okay with a substitution. I replied at 3:05 (approx. 2 hours later). The delivery was not made on that day. I was not informed, and was only informed the next day when I phoned for a confirmation of delivery. This was disappointing.”

“Pros: - Ordered Sunday, delivered on a Monday, within specified time. Cons: - Handwriting sloppy on card - No sender or florist details on delivered item - Wrong product delivered (looked like Xmas, not wedding as specified, and didn't match picture on website)”

“This was a surprise, your delivery driver showed it delivered. So I call asking it she like the flowers but it wasn’t delivered yet. He push at it was and mess up the surprise. Then when I called the attendant said that it would be delivered in about 30 minutes well the was at 311pm they arrived at 535 pm. Not happy”

“Sorry, very disappointed as the floral image selected did not look anywhere near the picture when delivered! This erodes the credibility of ordering from far away, when these orders matter and represent special circumstances and need to convey those feelings! Customers need to trust the process, otherwise why bother!”

“Ordered a costly arrangement with 3 birds of paradise as the centerpiece. The morning of the delivery, they called to say they only had one stem out of the three and that they would replace with something else… When I explained that I had ordered that arrangement specifically for those 3 exotic flowers, the lady took on a very rude condescending tone and kept cutting me off saying that they would replace with something else. When the arrangement was received the one and only bird of paradise was barely showing. Anyways, Ive ordered many arrangements in the past and can honestly say the customer service was subpar and the arrangement didn’t reflect the cost. I won’t be ordering from there again.”

“I ordered 3 pieces. Only one was delivered on time. The other two pieces were finally found and delivered long after the service was started. It isn't clear where the issue lay, but this did add a great deal of stress to having things run smoothly for my father's funeral. Sadly, most of the roses had already started to turn brown at the edges of the petals. The rest were fine.”

“Ottawa Flowers is my go to and I have always been extremely pleased until today. A delivery was made however the recipient wasn't home. As I couldn't be reached immediately, the driver left a voicemail asking if he could leave the arrangement with a neighbour as he didn't want to leave it outside in the cold. I returned the call as soon as I was able to, to learn that the arrangement had been returned to the shop. I recieved a call from the shop stating that they could re-deliver it again but I had to now pay for delivery. I was not impressed given that this was not my doing. Perhaps the arrangement should be wrapped differently in winter if this is the case. Very disappointed with this. However, the recipient was extremely pleased with the arrangement.”

“I would like to begin my remarks by saying that the flowers were beautiful, but I wish that could be said for the delivery service. I ordered flowers for a co-worker yesterday morning at 10:26am, and the flowers arrived at 9:38pm. The person was already in bed when the flowers were delivered. Really!!! At that time the days is over! Being Valentine's Day, one would expect that the flowers would be delivered during the store's hours of 9am to 5pm. The reason the driver was so late, he said that I had written anytime for delivery. I don't recall being asked when I placed my order what time I wanted them delivered. While I understand that yesterday was Valentine's Day and a very busy day for the flower industry, they should hire more delivery people on that day.”

“Only half of the order was delivered. When I called to find out what happened to the rest of the order that was already paid for, I was told it is too late to deliver the other half. Poor customer service and it's not acceptable taking money for an unfulfilled order.”
