About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I ordered a caravan cover. The wrong size was sent. Customer service becomes non existant when they need to rectify a mistake they made. Over one month later and I am still waiting for the correct cover. I tried ringing several times but am left to wait on hold for over ten minutes before I give up.Its like they are blocking my number.”

“Went to Outback equip for caravan gas fittings and staff were very helpful in getting exact size fittings, two days later I needed electric brake cable and gas bottle rubbers, being some Km from store I ordered online. I got updates on progress and timely shipping details so I was more than happy. They have heaps of equip and service is old school helpful G”
