About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Always have prices that are either the best around or highly competitive. Only criticism is that in store experience is limited based on space so you can’t touch and feel products. If you know what you want or happy to shop on line they are excellent.”

“I recently purchased the Direction Plus Fuel Manager pre-filter kit for my 300 series Landcruiser. The price was better than any of the others I had looked at delivery was quick and it was packaged well with good instructions included. Very happy with my purchase.”

“Just Unacceptable !!!!! No one told me how FANTASTIC THE PRODUCT RANGE WAS & HOW FAST THE DELIVERY WOULD BE. It's not fair I didn't know about these guys earlier. The pricing is competitive, the information is perfect, the buying and check out service is tooo easy. The question is - do we need any other suppliers on line? These guys have everything. Can't wait to purchase something or anything really - great experience👍🏻👍🏻”

“I will like to put 5 stars. But they never called me to tell me that my skylight hatch had arrived. But I received an email that I will lose my money if I do not pick it up in two days or something like that.”

“When first ordered assumed they were in stock as per website. Then told after a few days they weren’t. Then told a week later they were sent, only to be told another week later they were not. It took over 4 weeks to finally get items. Though through all this time the online store showed them as available. Very unhappy with service.”

“As expected, water tank for roof rack. Solid, well see how it survives some rough roads! I thought the brackets came with the tank, but no.”
