About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Thank you Outback Eqhipment for you prompt response to both of my purchases. If I ever need something again I will know exactly where to come. The one issue I have is the number of emails that followed advertising your wares. I have tried several times to unsubscribe. The emails have reduced but not ceased. “I purchased their caravan valet with dual drive wheels and a driver drill all up costing 1550$ and it moved the 2.2 tonne van about 1 inch and that is it. Don't touch these things as they only will work on smooth flat level concrete. Mine failed on bitumen with a pitch of less than half a degree.”

“Was missing a few parts from an item I bought and with one phone call outback packed up what was needed and sent to me with in a couple of days I cannot recommend them more highly and will definitely be buying more products from them”

“Customer service was excellent but not happy with the turn around of my product I had it in the mail the following day but I’m still waiting to receive it so not happy on the dispatch side Tom in customer service was very good the rest of the team let him down Thanks Robert Doherty”
