About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

Hi i had to send a email requesting supplies and delivery, on delivery the courier just left it near the door out side on a busy street lucky I was home, he bid not press the bell to my Appartment to notify me, it could have been pick up by any one passing by. Regards RJ

Purchased the product online. Waited 7 days and was told - Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfil this order for you at this stage. Due to this your order has been cancelled and submitted for refund processing to our finance team. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to be reflected in your original payment method. Sorry for any inconvenience caused! Took forever for the refund (whole process took 10 days) so went to the opposition and received the goods in 3 days of ordering it….

I ordered a superior engineering steering damper for a patrol as it was cheaper than going through superior and I found out why. The website says 4-6 days for delivery but after a week I phoned up and the lady told me it was another 2-3 weeks away because superior were out of stock and it was being manufactured. I phoned superior who told me they had more than 70 on the shelf and ready to go. Outback refunded my order and I went with Superior (which is what I should have done first time) who had the item to me in a couple of days. I wouldn't use outback equipment again.

I bought a rebuild kit comprising a 240v heater element, sacrificial anode and a tube spanner for installing the items for the water heater in our van. The items arrived promptly in good condition. I have since fitted them and our water heater is now working really well. Thank you Outback Equipment !! Outstanding service !

Ordered RV toilet consumables at very competitive prices which arrived in good condition, however, the delivery timeframe was much longer than I expected for items in stock - almost 4 weeks.

Hi yes just received them very disappointed in the packaging My first batch was in a box and bubble wrapped, This time just in a bag on bubble wrap. This is not up to your normal standards, what is going on at your place, Very disappointing and I do hope they are not damaged or cracked. All the money I’ve spent with you and items have never come like this to me 🙁

I bought this to replace the pump in my off-road caravan, and it’s a great bit of kit for long-term touring. The 3.8LPM flow rate is the "sweet spot" for water conservation—you get plenty of pressure for the sink and shower without wasting your tank levels. It’s quiet, easy to install in tight spots, and the low 3.0A draw is excellent for the battery setup. A solid, technically sound replacement for anyone heading off-road for extended stays. Highly recommended.

Very happy with all orders except last order made on 7/4 still waiting for shipment and no response to emails usually ship next day but not this one taking no phone calls does not help
