Everything went wrong since day one. Customer service didn't know where my parcel was. The terms and conditions are not clear. My parcel never reached the destination and I had to pay to get my parcel back. I asked for a refund

My wife sent two canvases to the USA using parcel compare, they arrived and customer was happy HOWEVER parcel compare have now informed my wife that according to them DHL DID AN AUDIT and her weight was wrong ( my wife was post manager at our local post office, she packaged and weighed the item two unframed canvases at 4.5 kilos. Parcelcompare are saying she has to pay extra as DHL audit weighed them at 15 kilos. My wife’s asked for evidence from audit NONE SEEMS TO BE PRODUCED. Parcelcompare have already taken the extra payment and want proof from my wife that the parcel was 4.5 kilos🤔 I am filing a complaint the trading standards, custom & excise, The wife regularly sends these canvases and has never been questioned about weight issues by any other company. I will be speaking to DHL and UPS who also handled the parcel. We will not be using this company again.

My suitcase with my clothing was sent to me in Bali by my daughter. The information provided by Parcel Compare to Indonesian Customs was incorrect. As a consequence it was classed as a commercial consignment. Customs consequently wanted a huge array of information that I could not comply with. Things like packing lists and commercial invoices (plus ten other compliances) that were inappropriate given that it was not a commercial shipment. Parcel Compare did nothing to rectify their error. The suitcase was subsequently destroyed by customs. I had insured it for £2,000 through Parcel Compare. Although the replacement cost is over £3,000. I was toldI couldn’t claim on insurance because I failed to comply with customs protocols. It was a complete “f” up on the part of Parcel Compare and they are now saying case closed despite having agreed to have the suitcase returned

Parcel was ordered via parcelcompare.com but actual carrier was DHL. 2 weeks after collection, DHL was contacted about delayed parcel, they start investigation and 3 weeks later DHL confirmed that parcel is lost. DHL agree to issue a refund of shipping costs and compensation but only to original customer (parcelcompare). Parcelcompare refused to make a refund because 30 days period passed since collection was made. Fact that evidence of parcel loss was confirmed only after 5 weeks after collection is ignored.

Paid for collection and delivery and no one come to pick the parcel up. Tried to get my money back and there is always a error on the page. Complete scam company

Have waited since 10am for customs labels to arrive. Live chat does not now exist - I wonder why? and they stopped replying to emails hours ago. It’s now the weekend and the parcel will be seriously delayed. How difficult can it possibly be to send appropriate labels? Hopeless company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT DELIVER THE PARCEL THEN SAY ITS DAMAGE, THEN WHEN YOU TRY TO CLAIM FOR THE DAMAGED PARCEL COME UP WITH ALL TYPES OF EXCUSES. HAVE TAKEN MONEY OUT OF THE BANK ACCOUNT FOR EXTRA FEES WITHOUT, HAD TO CALL THE BANK TO STOP THEM TAKING ANYMORE MONEY OUT. WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO TRADING STANDARD.

Package was opened, inspected and not deemed to be return of personal belongings, no contact phone numbers on website, the messaging function does not work, no way to contact them. Additional 73 euro in charges for a £40 next day delivery. Appalling.

Paid for next day delivery for an important document to France. The item took 15 days. Was told they can't guarantee delivery dates. What was the point!!

I wrote a review about Parcel Compare a few weeks ago regarding very bad service. Basically my boxes took eight weeks to arrive, were very badly damaged and when I attempted to put in a damage claim on insurance that I purchased extra, they always came up with an excuse not to proceed with the claim. I now want to add that since then, this Company has debited my bank account for more money citing that my boxes were over the original weight? If you do not want to get ripped off…bypass this Company and go directly to the Couriers, it’ll save you money in the long term.

It was an absolute shambles. They took payment to deliver 4 boxes to Turkey. The boxes were held by customs and DESTROYED. The courier said that Parcelcompare did not give consent for the goods to be released. DO NOT USE THEM. It cost our charity £4000 in lost goods. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - just go direct to the couriers so that it won't happen.

Do not deal with this company as you will regret it - Worst company I’ve ever dealt with - avoid at all costs they will agree a price then charge you more - remove it out of your account two months later without Reason or notification

Spent a hour getting the box size down to the required size to ship at there quoted price. Weighed 10kg. Collected and delivered to customer. Roughly a week later I get the email saying the size of the parcel was over sized meaning way the calculate the weight was now over and I owed an additional £65 on top of the £125 already paid. The charge was taken from my account and it was down to me to prove otherwise. Unfortunately I’d never had this with any other delivery site so hadn’t take the pictures they needed to prove my case. Consider this when choosing parcelcompare, make sure you take picture or just avoid them all together if you don’t want the extra headache. I won’t be using them again.

Handle with care when using! I organised for an item to collect and paid for it. Received no information or tracking. Waited a few days and still nothing sent. I then contacted them which was really difficult as it’s only an email address. They then couldn’t find my tracking number or order. After a while they found the payment and asked if I wanted a refund or rearrange. Asked for a refund and told it would be scheduled within 48 hours! It wasn’t Chased up and still no refund. Now they are not answering my emails. Also they have scheduled a pickup for the item I have already arranged and had picked up by parcel force! Told them this! I paid them £75 and getting the money back is so difficult They have no phone lines to contact them! They don’t reply to emails They don’t refund like they say they will Be really cautious!

Whee do I start. Posted my parcel through them.. And waited and waited for delivery to be made, after 2 weeks still no delivery, so started to email over it. Was messed about telling me an investigation had to be carried out etc. So a week later and was told the item was now officially lost. Now how do you loose something measuring 12x23x18 8nches weighing 6.5 kgs is beyond me. Told me it's my own fault I didn't take insurance out on them losing it. What a joke, sure they have insurance of their own to cover this, but no. So now I have to replace a valuable item THEY LOST at my expemse!. If I could rate them zero then I would. Do yourself a favour and use thr post office, it may cost a little more but its worth it. Disgraceful

Will not use again! Paid £3.50 for postage with no printer to print the label in the shop wasn’t given a QR code tried to amend order as I was given labels to print at home but I don’t have a printer and now have to pay £4.39 for a pre-printed label and wanted to charge me a total of £8.76 to amend, tried to cancel and wanted to charge nearly £4 for a cancellation, so paid £3.50 for nothing and took it to the Post Office instead.

As a business, we have used Parcel Compare numerous times now. On EVERY occasion we have been asked for an additional fee because the parcel is over the billable weight and dimensions. Thankfully, we now know to take photos of each dimension and label on the box. Every time we have had the claim cancelled. It's ridiculous how this company makes it money by saying they are the middle people and it's not them charging us. I would say try to find other couriers before using parcel compare, but if you do ensure you take photos with a tape measure and label clearly showing in the photos.

Horrible experience,they appear on the website when you search for delivery as being the first ones.I needed to send some oats and seeds were on their prohibited items list.Most of their items are prohibited.Now they are asking me for return fees.I said to them they can keep them.Really frustrating,really bad company.Never again.Stay away.

Parcel was delivered damaged and nearly 30 days late. There was no compensation for the damage despite paying extra for insurance, and there was no compensation for the 30-days delay despite paying extra for the express 3-day service. The support was very poor and the parcel was only delivered after I personally contacted the courier directly to sort out the problem. Parcelcompare support team emailed me to help solve the problem 3 days after the parcel was actually delivered, (which means they had no idea where item was), and the parcel was only delivered because I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the courier firm directly. Their service does not provide a telephone number for customer support or shipping problems. Does anyone believe I am happy or satisfied? 1 star for parcelcompare is 1 star too many
