“I bought a pair of Pavers 'ReLife' shoes and they are, by far, the worst pair of shoes I've ever owned! The fit was good in the shop but within the first few wears it became apparent that there was a flaw as one side was continually rubbing on the heel. On inspection I noticed there was a hard band just below the lip of the heel which wasn't so apparent on the opposite shoe. This caused quite bad rubbing on my heel to the point of bleeding. Clearly a flaw with the shoe due to poor manufacturing and quality control. I will never buy another pair of Pavers.”

“Bought a pair of boots from a Paver subsidiary, Jones Bootmaker. After an hour or so in light to moderate rain, the boots which I had had for a week, were soaked. I went to Jones Bootmaker to complain and return the substandard product. I was told by the staff and the customer advice people that the boots had not been sold as waterproof. They weren’t even water resistant. I complained that the sodden boots were not fit for purpose-all to no avail. Pavers and Jones and staff are terrible.”

“I take a size 2 shoe and I am most grateful that Pavers still sell size 2. Today I visited Wilton Pavers and to my delight there was a selection of size 2 shoes to choose from. A real treat!! I have visited a number of Pavers stores and alway found the staff most helpful and patient with my small feet. Please do NOT stop selling size 2 as so many shops it is really difficult to buy comfortable, well fitting shoes at a very reasonable price. Thank you. I am now looking for a pair of low boots with Velcro rather than zips as I find the zip boots too tight. I am told there are none in stock at the moment but the assistant gave me a number to enquire in 2/3 weeks time so I am hoping to be fortunate.”

“I have been buying Pavers shoes for years now from their Liverpool store. I have always had good service from friendly staff and been extremely happy with my purchases. I have had four pairs from them this year all very comfortable fit and will carry on visiting this store. I am very surprised to read a negative review of Pavers from two weeks ago and wouldn't let this put me off buying from them”

“Hey friends please don’t buy any shoes from pavers shoe shop they are completely rubbish shoes and customer service is so rude I bought the shoes from them my wife is pregnant and she feeling tight I try to refund or exchange it they refused it Don’t go guys any more there please”

“Found a pair of suitable shoes for my work and when purchasing the attendent ask if I wanted them waterproofed at extra cost.Surly I would have hoped for waterproof shoes at £45.Got home and sprayed them myself,if I had more time to go elsewhere I would have left the shoes there.Very very dissapointed with Pavers.Will not be returning!!!”

“Brilliant customer service. Lesley was very busy but still made us feel we could take our time and she was very patient, even after running up and down stairs for 4-5 different shoes. We noticed she gave the same service to 3 other people at the same time. Will definately be back to have my shoes waterproofed Jeff again and if course to buy more.”

“Visited the branch at Golden days wigan, served by Fleur who was very knowledgable as I have a problem with flat feet. Bought two pairs of shoes ,Arch cushions and a can of protector. Would shop here again for all my shoes.”

“I would like write about the wonderful service I received at the shop in Glasgow’s St. Enoch Square. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the young lady who served me. Not only did she advise me on the type of shoe I should be wearing for my problem foot but also stretched my own shoe for my comfort. I left with a lovely pair of shoes, a gadget for stretching shoes and admiration for the lovely assistant. I will definitely be shopping there in future.”

“Very helpful lady, I bought a pair of sketches trainers, she told me to walk around the store for a while to see if they were really comfortable as I wear an orthotic insole. I did purchase the shoes and I'm very happy with them.”

“Was really looking forward to my reiker sandles .what a let down .great big sticker in the inside of the sandle where your heel goes so am now the butt of everyone's micky take .take you 😡😡😡😡 that's been like that 3 wks will not come off”

“Have shopped with Pavers many times on line and instore and always found them excellent for customer service.I was having difficulty finding another pair of Pavers full slipper with touch fastening strap in size 6 for Mr T,but Kerry , assistant manager of Pavers in Atkinsons of Sheffield dept store, rang around and got me the last pair delivered free to store for collection in a few days.Phoned me when they'd arrived . Excellent!”
