“I purchased holiday insurance long before the holiday was to tske place, nearer the time l wanted to print out the information and certificate then forward it to a family member in the unlikely event that it is needed only to find that the page had expired and the link they gave didn't work. The website gave their hours for a Sunday as open until 4pm, so l rang and had the answering service stating open Monday to Friday. I strongly feel this should be pointed out at the time of purchase as if l had been traveling at the weekend or has occurance to need them l would have been unable to obtain these documents. This was not a cheap policy either.”

“Accessing the website was simple - cost for the one week ski holiday to Canada was considerably more than a comparable week in Europe, but having said that far better than other websites for the same cover.
So purchased - all good.
The documents were not sent immediately, and I must have forgot all about it and only checked at the weekend - fortunately I had kept the reference number for the policy - and greatly relieved when I could retrieve the policy.
That's the one area I would suggest for complete piece of mind - confirmation of the purchased policy as soon as the payment as gone through.”
