“Excellent service & produc. Happy to send out harness sections to get the best fit prior to unsuitable ones being returned. Just had to replace our original harness after over three years hard use. Washes well - comes out of machine as new and nearly dry.”

“I first heard about perfect fit, 13 years ago. When we went to rockingham dog show. Since then I have always told dog owners to try perfect fit. Staff are really helpful, the website is easy to use. The harness is secure and very good.”

“Delighted with our PerfectFit harness. This is our second one, as our Havanese has one for everyday and a different coloured one for her Pets As Therapy sessions. The harnesses are very light weight and comfortable for her. Love how you can buy separate pieces as and when required. Very well made and we would not use anyting else. Always recommending PerfectFit harnessess to our friends etc.”

“I've tried almost every harness out there at this point and some are better than others. The Perfect Fit harness is not that great and I cannot recommend it. The straps loosen too much just from one 20 minute walk, they just don't stay in place. The angle of the straps around the neck and shoulders is just awkward and buckles on the top area where. The angle of rear straps and where they clip onto to top of the harness just doensn't seem like a good design. It's needs an extension around the body in order for that angle of the attachment points to work and for the harness to stay in place around the body. The D-ring on the top is in the worst place--towards the front part so when you walk alongside your dog the leash pulls on the harness and it rotates to the side so it never stays in place. I gave this a one star because this is actually the worst harness of this type that I've tried. For reference, my dog is 64lbs and 3 yrs old. There are better and lower costing harnesses on the market.”

Thank you for your feedback, Rio. We're sorry to hear that you do not feel that you can recommend the harness. We are just wondering if there might be an explanation for the problems that you are experiencing as it is most unusual for the straps to loosen and the fit to as awkward as you describe. Our first thought is that it might not be on your pup quite right as the D-ring on the top piece should be at the tail end and not sitting towards the front and the harness should not twist. We will contact you directly to offer some assistance.

“Recommended to me by a relative . Phoned to order over the phone , excellent advice given to get right size . Arrived quickly , perfect fit and soft and comfortable for my dog ! Lightweight and machine washable! Perfect , love it and it's made in the UK. 🇬🇧”

“We’ve just purchased upgraded parts for our harness, we first purchased 2 years ago and are still using one of the original pieces. The quality is next level and with such an unusual dog shape (L-XS-L) it’s been amazing to find a harness that fits comfortably & she can’t escape from! Super pleased with the product & customer service is second to none, nothing is ever too much trouble.”

“Very quick despatch of my order, and the alternatives that I had to try. The original harness parts were all too big, despite having sent the measurements and a photo, but we got there in the end because they sent me six new pieces to try. Would recommend them.”

“So pleased we found perfect fit as before we just could not find a harness to fit properly and the neck was always too loose Also our dog did not like a harness being put on over her head but this one unclips so we don’t have to We have bought another as a spare and we highly recommend them”

“The harness itself looks to be good quality and well made however it seems too loose on the front piece and there is no more adjustment (ccs). It’s a good fit around the chest and back. I phoned shortly after it arrived to ask if there was a smaller front piece and was told someone would phone me or email me however I didn’t hear anything. Apart from being a bit loose it’s a good harness. Edit: Gilly from perfect fit emailed me and offered to send me a smaller piece if I wanted to try it, which I did. A few days later a new front and girth piece in one arrived and it fits Bruiser perfectly. I’ve never had such good customer service from a company. Not only is the harness now perfect, the company is perfect too. 😊”
