Absolute scum bags and rotten all the way through like Cancer! Sickening how in a civilised country these pieces of S##t are allowed to operate. The star rating doesn’t work as it stands on one star, that is a huge compliment to this devouring, unscrupulous, racist, money robbing, lying, evil, amateur, xenophobic pieces of pure pond life.

Persimmons can legally scam you out of money with Finishing Touches, the optional extras they encourage you to buy when buying one of their poor quality houses. We bought an optional extra and then they decided to pull out of the contact, not us them. When I requested a refund for what we had bought they refused. They then put the house back on the market with what we had paid for. I have no access to this item and basically I feel like I have been scammed. Apparently Permissions does this trick to many buyers and some even pays £10s of thousands. To be perfectly honest I'm surprised Trading Standards don't get involved because if anyone else took money for goods then refused to deliver it would be fraud. Be warned people, you have no right to redress with these cowboys and are a law unto themselves.

I was attracted by their new homes at Cardea in Peterborough. I visited their sales office and got informations for their sales agent; saw their show homes; everything were still good up to that moment. I shown my intent to reserve my favourite home, but on contrary to my eager, the sales agent told me she is busy at that moment and told me that they have so many available new homes and no need to be hurry. She gave me their solicitor particulars and asked me to get a quote from them first. As I need to leave UK soon and go back to my home country, I made the appointment with the sales agent again, told her my situation and accepted the solicitor's quotation and would like to reserve my home without delay. She had no objection and confirmed my appointment. While I was very happy that I could have my new home soon, she suddenly called me that she didn't think I'd enough time to complete the buying process. They wouldn't accept me to buy their home. I was shocked and told her if I could extend my stay in UK. Her reply was ridiculous and has no sense, she said there was a long queue of persons who want to buy their homes and I was at the end of the queue. So she can let me to buy at that moment. It's really crazy about this company service and don't know why they like to select customer in this way.

It's safe to say, that this is the worst company you will ever have to deal with. Lots of promises that they can't keep, terrible at communicating with the customer during and after purchasing. The build quality is poor and cheap. The customer care team are atrocious. Their broadband is sub par. The list goes on.

Terrible service from persimmon homes throughout the whole buying process. Numerous things were wrong and it was a battle to have anything resolved. 5 years on and part of the roof has come adrift, after 6 weeks of contacting them I was told someone would come and inspect the following day. An email was then sent stating they are having nothing to do with it. Service is poor and workmanship quality is the worst I’ve seen. DO NOT BUY A PERSIMMON HOME.

Basically they don't care, they withhold information and don't reply to emails or call you back. Terrible customer service. Reserved a plot for £500, but weren't told key information about the plot until after the reservation fee had been paid, such as steps leading to the front door and back door (this is a huge accessibility issue and they should have made this much clearer from the start, but at least we know to ask in the future). After this we felt really put off about the house and Persimmon in general and did some more research on them and read about their poor customer service, dangerous and bad build quality and the investigation into them last year, the dangers the houses posed is really quite scare. We decided we don't want to buy with Persimmon ever. We cancelled the reservation and the sales advisor told us head office sort the refund, we received a confirmation email that we would be refunded £250 but no indication of how or when this would be refunded. Sent 3 emails to head office and sales advisor and no one replied to any. Called head office 5 times over 2 weeks and spoke to different people who all confirmed I needed to speak to Lisa, they would put me through to Lisa's voicemail and I left messages myself or they would say they'd email Lisa for her to get back to me - she doesn't call back or email. On the 5th or 6th call I said I wanted to complain about the poor customer service, complete lack of communication and that they're a huge company making millions year after year withholding £250 from use, which is nothing to them but a lot of money to use. The person I spoke to again told me I needed to speak to Lisa but she couldn't get me through. Soon after this call (within an hour) they called me to issue the refund - If I hadn't wanted to complain I genuinely don't believe they'd have bothered calling me back and would be continuing to ignore me and withhold the refund they owed. Just be very careful with them, we wished we'd known more before getting involved with them and had read the online reviews and asked for specifics about the plot before reservation

Dear Buyers, Please be away from “PERMISSION HOMES” – Copperfields – Truro property sales teams: 1) 2 weeks back, I’ve paid the reservation fee as per discussion with marketing team located in the “PERMISSION HOMES” – Copperfields – Truro property office – stating the deal which was offered to you is only valid till today – and marketing team conveyed to me – here is your deal and rest can be completed in the upgrades/finishing touches, please go through the pdf file and let us know asap. 2) After a week – I’ve selected offered deal appliances by going to “PERMISSION HOMES” – Copperfields – Truro property location after that permission homes marketing team started communicating me back when have sent the upgrades/finishing touches list can’t be applied to your selected property at this stage and this information wasn’t communicated at the time of reservation of the property. 3) Now the marketing team isn’t answering my calls – just replying to emails – sorry we can’t apply any upgrades now with your selected property and the final message from the marketing suite team is to select other properties where the buyer is not interested in. 4) When I have requested for a full refund of the reservation which has paid - £500 no response for calls and emails for few hours – stating we are busy in back to back meetings, we’ve started you refund request for £250 which may take up to 4weeks, but have canceled the property due to the permission homes can’t provide any upgrades/finishing touches to the property. 5) I’ve tried to contact the marketing team, but no responses in calls and emails – this shows how much importance “PERMISSION HOMES” is giving importance to their buyers in the UK.

Do not use hold plot and Home Move scheme. Serious and unrealistic pressure to get a an offer on property by deadline of 4 weeks during lock down. They never arranged 3 estate agents as per agreement. Never communicated with estate agent regularly as set out in terms and conditions or even with customer. Their response was "we are still working" during this current lock down. MY RESPONSE IS SO AM I AND SO IS MY HUSBAND AS A KEY WORKER. All customers are seen as below their level. Advice would be is if would like a new home go with another home builder for better quality and customer service.

This feedback is directly related to Abigail and her colleague at Hampton Gardens in Peterborough. They do not answer phone calls, Abi was busier cleaning crumbs off her face than deal with us with any interest. No response to our emails including email with offer for The Rufford. No follow up or any response to future phone calls. The worst business I ever had no pleasure of dealing with. We’re now paying more money for a property just to not go with Persimmon. Absolutely disgusting service and I feel embarrassed for you.

If you want to try to buy a persimmon home and you have the cash ..... don't bother. They don't appear to want to sell you one of their properties. I tried numerous times to get a sales appointment but they ignored me! Clearly their meeting their sales targets so easily at Cardea in Peterborough they not interested in cash buyers. Good luck to them!!!! - I've taken my business elsewhere.

It is unfortunate that Persimmon can get away with such poor work with the New build in Copperfield Estate, Truro. Barely 2 years and a couple of months after moving into the house, I noticed water escape which ruined the walls. It was investigated by a Plumber who identified that the leak was from a pipe that had a nail screwed into it during the original building. After several failed attempts to reach Customer service, I finally got through to Persimmon and was rudely told that my warranty had run out a couple of months ago and they couldn't do anything about the house. The customer service personnel wouldn't even agree to provide me with an email or address to make an official complaint. I will be seeking compensation with every legal avenue available to me. I have checked around and also noticed so many complaints in the same estate.

It is the worst house we have ever brought. They could'nt care less about any problems you have. We had leaks through the ceilings,on the day we were given the keys workman were still in our hose painting. They are currently throwing up the last fase of houses, and if i had seen the way they build i would never had brought. I have watched from my lounge window workman urinating over house materals used to build the houses. All paint work goes yellow i just a few months. And do not pay for any up grades as the charge 3 times more then if you go direct to the companys they use.

I enquires into Ashworth place in Exeter with my partner, and was simply met by a rude and abrupt lady called Nikeeta. Her attitude towards us was disgusting, making comments about what she thinks we can afford and that we “look like a couple who tries to save as much money on a deal as possible”. I took that as being called cheap. I simply asked what deals were available. I didn’t wish to continue and instead went down the road to another provider. Awful experience.

Possibly the worst housing company in the UK. They move you into brand new homes which are unfinished and built poorly. We had a gas leak for a year which was not picked up on because it was not properly checked before we moved in (the gasman advised that the leak was due to a pipe being built incorrectly which would have been there from the day we moved in). We then were left with holes in our ceiling and walls to try and find this leak, they struggled to find it due there gas meter reading so high that they could not pin point exactly where the leak was coming from. It has been a year since this happened now and they STILL have not came and fixed the holes which we have reported multiple times. We also have a leak in our bath, the plumbers came out and took the casing off to reveal all the damp underneath it and our bathroom floor is rising due to this. This was reported months ago and it still isn't resolved. My partner and i have had to use ridiculous amounts of holiday to fix issues and on some days we would be at home waiting and they would have no record or anyone coming out to us (it is ran by incompetent people who cant even book you in properly or let you know if no one is available). If we had to do this again then we would have never moved into this property, it has been problem after problem and two years on we still feel like we are living in a half complete house. There has been many other minor issues but these two are the main ones (when we moved in we had no hot water for weeks for example). I advise people to stay well clear of these people, we are going to look into contacting watchdog or getting legal advice to stop anyone else going through what we have gone through. My Wife works for the NHS and the amount of stress this has caused us both is disgusting.

We purchased a Persimmon Homes Leasehold property in August 2018. Eight months later we discovered that Persimmon had sold EIGHT properties that immediately surround ours to an investment company who have converted all of them to be used for HMO purposes with a capacity of 44 individual people (namely students in our area). According to our legal documents regarding restrictive covenants, all properties are to be used as ‘Single Private Dwelling’ only. We complained to Persimmon and had meetings/conversations/emails with the MD. However, 15 months later the breaches have not been enforced as Persimmon are refusing to do so. Bear in mind too, that FOUR of the houses have had their garages converted to enable x6 bedrooms throughout the 'Croft' house and this investor has not sought or been granted permission to do this or to change the use (we have this in black & white from said MD along with numerous other emails admitting the breach/es). Im sure anyone that has actually paid £250 to ask permission to alter their properties won’t be too pleased when they discover this! We did not purchase our new property to live on a student campus (with the associated mess/noise/and parking issues thanks to removing the garages) and thought we were protected by the leasehold terms which of course Persimmon Homes themselves have set in place! It would appear that if you are in a position to purchase multiple properties from PH, you are exempt from the legalities that bind the rest of us… This is a very long story cut short…..
