I bought chews from this company because the website stated they were 1.5kg and it appeared to be better value than other retailers. On arrival the chews actually weighed 0.55kg. I requested the company paid for return postage for a refund since I did not receive what I had ordered - ie false advertising. Although their first email confirmed that there was an error on the website, they have refused to pay for return postage and now have said 'The weight on the website is mainly used to calculate shipping, as some natural products may vary in weight.' This would be a variation of up to 272%!! Ridiculous excuse, and they have now lost any future business from myself and other pet owners I know since I shall be sharing my experience widely. All for the sake of not paying £3.99 for the return, or refunding me.

I cancel my orders and now they took the money from my account...I want to cancel the order but nobody answer the phone...

CONNED BIG TIME: Ordered 2 x 12 kg bags of Wagg Puppy Food, but, on arrival, only received one of these, but the other was for Adult Dogs! Both bags badly split, dents, etc, and no way was this edible, as would have been stale. Got straight on to the company about this issue. It took them forever, to finally get back to us. When they did, they arranged for Yodel to collect wrong/defective items. However, they failed to turn up. Waited in especially, all day for this, and both our contact numbers were available for them to contact us on-which they did not. We got on to Adam, who was dealing with the issue, and he agreed that DPD would collect, and date was agreed. But, once again,even DPD failed to turn up, and collect, as arranged. This is a ridiculous way for a company to behave, and they are certainly not reputable. We have sent several other emails to Adam, but very hit and miss as to whether he bothers to respond. Now, we are left with 24 kg of the wrong/defective dog food, and the company has conned us out of a lot of money, and they will not refund us, despite us repeatedly asking for them to do this. Just because they are corrupt, we are not going to let this one go, and will be taking this further, to the Consumer Rights Act. We will give it another day (tomorrow), to see if collection actually happens, but, because the company are so corrupt, and take you for every penny, I don't believe for a moment the wrong/defective food will be collected. Please, please, don't buy from this VERY corrupt company. We have warned so many people about his corrupt company, and whatever you do don't buy from this company. My wife is chronically ill, and could die, at any time, due her health conditions. They really do not care, they have no understanding, or empathy, and are quite happy just to take your money, and leave you out of pocket, with wrong/defective items (to fall over), as it takes up a lot of space in our property. This is a bitter pill to swallow, but we are not prepared to let this one go. I have much anger, and frustration over the way this corrupt company have treated us. I care for my wife round the clock, and I do not need any additional stress, and anxiety. I should not have to contact them constantly, to get this horrible ordeal sorted out. None of our friends/family, with pets, are prepared to buy from this company, because they are absolutely appalled to hear of what we have had to go through, and the time I need to spend looking after my wife, I'm having to constantly send them emails, to no avail-but just keep getting let down. All we want is for the wrong/defective items, to be collected, and refunded, for the large sum of money paid. Is this really too much to ask?! This is their fault, not ours.

My wife and I ordered 2 x Felix boxes. When delivered both Jumbo boxes of 40 each packets were in ONE BOX. We could barely move the box let alone unpack it. Thank youPetShop.

I ordered from PetShop and was happy with the first order. Then a few days later I was, without ordering, billed for and sent another similar order, which has also arrived. I have tried to contact the company but they are currently accepting only emails, saying they aim to get back to me within two working days. In the meantime I see they are billing me for yet another batch of cat food, which I haven't ordered. I have repeatedly looked at their website and can find nowhere that I can correct any order that I might have made. Grrrrrr!!!!

I subscribe to Bottomles bowl for Dog food. Orders are on time and plenty of notice with emails if any there are any delays. Effortless ordering

I have had dogs for over 50 years so have tried many local and internet based companies for my food supplies. Petshop has always provided me an excellent service that I can't fault. The products are very competitively priced and delivery speedy. Happy to recommend *****

Do not sign up to Bottomless Bowl as you are writing a blank cheque: After my 1st order I signed up to Bottomless Bowl. The 1st order arrived quickly. The 2nd order took a number of days to arrive. However, my issue with ‘Bottomless Bowl’ is that you do not know what you are going to be charged for the order until after the order has been processed. That means you are writing a blank cheque! I took up my dissatisfaction with the company and the reply was; "I'm sorry for any disappointment caused - we do advise that the prices for bottomless bowl orders may fluctuate, and can vary depending on offers that we have running, or occasionally price changes by the supplier." I am not sure where that statement is on the web site but the person who replied seems to have missed the point. I do not expect prices to stay the same but I do expect to be notified of what the cost will be before the order is processed. Each 10kg bag of Excel rabbit food had gone up over £3 a bag in 11 weeks.

These people are the laziest and most inconsiderate people I've dealt with when it comes to online ordering. I opted for the bottomless bowl subscription of a premium cat food sack. Far from cheap. The point of limitless bowl is that every month the food is dispatched and paid for automatically. So far every month I have had to waste hours of my time to talk to someone who can do something, even harder to find someone who isn't coming across purposefully obtuse regarding the situation and even less interested in resolving the issue satisfactorily. I Have been fed the same excuse on most occasions, at other times tried they to blame DPD (who on more on one occasion where very sympathetic and helped sort the issue out for me, as DPD had had to deal with petshop.co.uk lack of apparent organisation concerning deliveries on many occassions). I am exasperated at having to chase up something that should be automated. They never accept responsibility, they never say sorry and not once after 6 months of repeating this debacle have they proferred any compensation. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE ANY CHOICE IN THE MATTER.

A waste of time, site deliberately confusing. Charged me more for 10kg of dog food than I could have paid for 25kg of the same product. Trying to complain to Adam, was a waste of time, may as well be talking to myself, just an automated answer. There are plenty of reputable companies out there that sell similar, or the same products, cheaper with much better service.Try the others avoid this company if you can.

No customer service at all with 9 bags of cat litter that should have been delivered a week ago I have been told on 5 different dates it’s out for delivery! All my messages to pet shop have been ignored there is no support I’m going to have to go to my bank to claim back money for missing goods this is not acceptable, I expect much better customer service!!!!

Delivery took over two weeks I sent three emails all of which were ignored . Two phone calls which I was told she would call me back and didn't ! Shocking service which is a shame as they've lost a good paying monthly customer .

Never delivered in time frame, phoned. They say definitely tomorrow, booked day off work, no deliver, phoned, said following day, still no delivery. Cancelled the order. Sent a complaint, never received a reply. Very poor customer service.

I can't believe this company is allowed to exist! Abysmal "service", they finally claim to have shipped my order, 13 days after I made it & after I got what I needed for my pets from another website! Completely incompetent.

This is the second time I order from this company, and the second time I have problems!!! Ordered food on the 18th of March 2019 for a saturday delivery. After placing order received a message 4 days after saying that the food had been dispatched. Arrived on the23rd and I noticed the food I ordered was different, called customer services who said they were not selling the type of food I ordered, that they were advertising it by mistake and wold give me a refund. They said they would send a collection folllowing Monday so I stayed off work waiting for the collection, but no one shown up. Called customer services who wanted to arrange a new collection but I asked to be a saturday as I could not be at home during a working day again. They said they could only provide collections during the week, so I asked to leave the package at a collection point and they sent me a label to print. I printed the label, took the package to the collection point and label didn't work..and this happened 3 times on 3 different days!! Labels from Hermes and Yodel not working (not recognised)...finally after almost 2 weeks I had to stay home so that DPD could come and collect it on the 9th April! (and my pets waiting for the food so I had to by some on a local shop). Then I should be refunded....waited 1 week but had to call the company to ask for the refund and they said there was a problem on the warehouse that didn´t report when they received the items. Finally got the refund another week after. Thought never to order from them again. On the 4th August tried again: Sunday placed an order and the website says will deliver in 3 to 5 working days. Called yesterday (Thursday) to have a feedback about the order that was still pending in my account. I was informed by customer services that the order had not been processed and as it takes 3 to 5 working days to arrive would arrive Saturday. I said I ordered Sunday so if i takes 3 to 5 working days I would expect to receve it maximum Friday. They said they don't work on Sundays so they process requests Monday and start counting the 3 to 5 working days from Tuesday, they apologised for the delay at the warehouse and said they would send a message for package to be dispatched immediately and that I would receive it the day after (Friday). After the call I received an email confirming the delivery would be today (Friday) so managed to stay home. Today could not track the delivery so called customer services who said unfortunately there was (again!!!) a delay on the warehouse this week and the tracking code by Hermes did not work because they have not dispatched the package but should arrive tomorrow!!! I said this was the 2nd time I'm having problems and I order from other companies (zooplus and petplanet) and never and problems...that I decided to give it a try but that it´s very bad for customers to have all this problems all the time and that this type of thing would make people stop ordering from them. I was speaking in a polite tone and they turned off the call. Very good services, happy customers....Not me as I won't give it a go again!! Wil keep using other companies.

I ordered my dog food on the 26th April b4 2pm was told 3-5 working days till delivery, got a message on the following Wednesday saying they hadn't even dispatched my order and 2 contact them if I needed it faster, I called them to tell them I only had 1 day of dog food left and was promised it would arrive on the Friday at the latest so my dog would only have 2 go without his breakfast for 1 day, well its Friday and it hasn't arrived is still not out for delivery so my dog has had nothing to eat all day nor will he have any breakfast 2moro, I can't just go out and buy food for him as he is on a special diet and if he eats anything else he will have sickness and diarrhoea for days and would end up at the vets very ill on a drip again. It took months of trying different kinds of dog food b4 we found this 1 and many over night stay at the emergency vets. I'm very very upset waiting over a week for food to be delivered is terrible, I can get it sent from Germany faster to the UK but my normal supplier didn't have any in stock that is why I used PetShop.co.uk. I got an email back today after I complained again, saying my dog food wasn't in stock when I ordered, very sorry but it should not have be avaliable for me to buy and I would have look elsewhere as I had already done, I don't even know if I'm going 2 get it tomorrow as its Saturday or if I will have 2 wait till Tuesday as its a Bank Holiday on Monday, I don't know anyone who can give me some of my dogs food till then so I'm going to be given no choice but to make my dog ill or starve him for 5 days till it finally arrives, worse experience ever with an online pet food shop, avoid if you need your pet food fast
