Buyers Beware! I purchased three cases of dog food. Nearly three weeks later I received an email saying it was out of stock but they would have it in in the next day and would send it out. A week later I called to chase. Very poor customer service. Girl I spoke to said one case was there, but they were waiting for the other two! (Send the one case out at least)! She agreed to send the one she had out that day and I would receive it the following day. Surprise surprise I did not receive it. Called customer services again. Another girl, more unhelpful than the first did not seem to care. Remember folks, sometimes cheaper is not always the best! Will never shop here again!

No customer service skills at all! Ordered my dogs food that was on offer, buy one, get one half price. They emailed to tell me it was out of stock, not a problem ... until they send me one bag at full price ... check the website and the item shows ad in stock? Con artists.

Customer service appalling. Intransigent and prepared to lose thousands in future business for the sake of £2.99! Have used for a while spending £100 a month so such a decision obviously raises questions about management. Won't be using again and would advise anyone else to beware. Examine every click you make on the website or you may not get what you think. No mistakes tolerated even if not your fault.

Please be aware of this company .When you order you somehow sign yourself up for what they call subscribe and send you the same product every 4 weeks in my account. Only realised when I saw a second payment deducted from bank account . Why would I want a furminator every 4 weeks, that's £13-48 every month. Very misleading and rather naughty .

I ordered a 12.5kg bag of taste the wild dog food. And it arrived super quick however upon open the product the bag had split right down the middle. The food was covered in some kind of greasy substance and 2kg of food was missing. It was clear the bag had split in the warehouse, all over a greasy unhygienic floor and they simply scooped it up put it in a unhygienic tarpaulin bag and sent it on its merry way hoping Someone would feed contaminated food to their dog? Well not a chance. I phoned up and was told the usual "all our items are checked twice before they are dispatched" and "It must have happened in transit" sure but that doesn't explain the greasy residue all over the food or the missing 2kg or the fact the outer packaging was completely undamaged? They sent out a replacement the very next day and guess what..... that's right exactly the same thing! Only this time 1kg missing. Look at all the other 1 star reviews all claiming the same thing!

Customer service is very bad,the girl was laughing at me ,first she said it is bad line,then she couldn't hear me.then she laughed at me,and put the phone down on me. I've been waiting 2 weeks for my order. Dont use this company, there bad rude and disgusting custmer service. They sound good,but always mess up Allan.

I won't be renewing my subscription orders with this company. Two weeks worth of food arrived for my dogs busted open and covered with white furry mould. I've been emailing them over and over, with photos for the best part of a month, and calling but they simply will not get back to me. You've lost a valuable customer in me. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointing. My monthly order was £100-200 too. I'll take my custom elsewhere and I suggest you do too.

Unsatisfactory customer service from Megan This person was abrupt uncourteous and in no way willing to help, accusing her fellow workmate of blatantly lying to me and totally misleading me. Her telephone manner is blunt and seriously In need of retraining If pet shop and vet shop don’t wish to lose more customers. This is not the first time she has spoken to me in this abrupt manner when trying to place a large order. Sometimes it’s worth paying a little bit more for good customer service.

The courier got my order with only half the address, so had to return it to have it completed then was finally delivered to me 8 days later.. Very disappointed with the company and I shall not use it again. Phoebe (my cat)

Signs you up to a subscription service without clearly stating. So wasn't until I checked my bank account did I realise I had three payments taken out. So was going to have the same item arrive each week. The product I ordered would last a few months as is quite large for my pets so not needed every week. Did email them and they said they would cancel on going orders, do let's hope they have. Please be aware though if you are ordering as it isn't clear and you wait a while for first order then suddenly get two orders in short period.

Signed me up to a subscription service to continually send me the same item each week, (and item that would take months to use) didn't realise till I checked my bank account and it's not very clear on their website so be aware. Did email and they have said they will cancel on going orders, so lets hope they do. But wanted to make others aware as if you were busy you may not realise until you lost the money.

I bought chews from this company because the website stated they were 1.5kg and it appeared to be better value than other retailers. On arrival the chews actually weighed 0.55kg. I requested the company paid for return postage for a refund since I did not receive what I had ordered - ie false advertising. Although their first email confirmed that there was an error on the website, they have refused to pay for return postage and now have said 'The weight on the website is mainly used to calculate shipping, as some natural products may vary in weight.' This would be a variation of up to 272%!! Ridiculous excuse, and they have now lost any future business from myself and other pet owners I know since I shall be sharing my experience widely. All for the sake of not paying £3.99 for the return, or refunding me.

CONNED BIG TIME: Ordered 2 x 12 kg bags of Wagg Puppy Food, but, on arrival, only received one of these, but the other was for Adult Dogs! Both bags badly split, dents, etc, and no way was this edible, as would have been stale. Got straight on to the company about this issue. It took them forever, to finally get back to us. When they did, they arranged for Yodel to collect wrong/defective items. However, they failed to turn up. Waited in especially, all day for this, and both our contact numbers were available for them to contact us on-which they did not. We got on to Adam, who was dealing with the issue, and he agreed that DPD would collect, and date was agreed. But, once again,even DPD failed to turn up, and collect, as arranged. This is a ridiculous way for a company to behave, and they are certainly not reputable. We have sent several other emails to Adam, but very hit and miss as to whether he bothers to respond. Now, we are left with 24 kg of the wrong/defective dog food, and the company has conned us out of a lot of money, and they will not refund us, despite us repeatedly asking for them to do this. Just because they are corrupt, we are not going to let this one go, and will be taking this further, to the Consumer Rights Act. We will give it another day (tomorrow), to see if collection actually happens, but, because the company are so corrupt, and take you for every penny, I don't believe for a moment the wrong/defective food will be collected. Please, please, don't buy from this VERY corrupt company. We have warned so many people about his corrupt company, and whatever you do don't buy from this company. My wife is chronically ill, and could die, at any time, due her health conditions. They really do not care, they have no understanding, or empathy, and are quite happy just to take your money, and leave you out of pocket, with wrong/defective items (to fall over), as it takes up a lot of space in our property. This is a bitter pill to swallow, but we are not prepared to let this one go. I have much anger, and frustration over the way this corrupt company have treated us. I care for my wife round the clock, and I do not need any additional stress, and anxiety. I should not have to contact them constantly, to get this horrible ordeal sorted out. None of our friends/family, with pets, are prepared to buy from this company, because they are absolutely appalled to hear of what we have had to go through, and the time I need to spend looking after my wife, I'm having to constantly send them emails, to no avail-but just keep getting let down. All we want is for the wrong/defective items, to be collected, and refunded, for the large sum of money paid. Is this really too much to ask?! This is their fault, not ours.

My wife and I ordered 2 x Felix boxes. When delivered both Jumbo boxes of 40 each packets were in ONE BOX. We could barely move the box let alone unpack it. Thank youPetShop.

I ordered from PetShop and was happy with the first order. Then a few days later I was, without ordering, billed for and sent another similar order, which has also arrived. I have tried to contact the company but they are currently accepting only emails, saying they aim to get back to me within two working days. In the meantime I see they are billing me for yet another batch of cat food, which I haven't ordered. I have repeatedly looked at their website and can find nowhere that I can correct any order that I might have made. Grrrrrr!!!!

Do not sign up to Bottomless Bowl as you are writing a blank cheque: After my 1st order I signed up to Bottomless Bowl. The 1st order arrived quickly. The 2nd order took a number of days to arrive. However, my issue with ‘Bottomless Bowl’ is that you do not know what you are going to be charged for the order until after the order has been processed. That means you are writing a blank cheque! I took up my dissatisfaction with the company and the reply was; "I'm sorry for any disappointment caused - we do advise that the prices for bottomless bowl orders may fluctuate, and can vary depending on offers that we have running, or occasionally price changes by the supplier." I am not sure where that statement is on the web site but the person who replied seems to have missed the point. I do not expect prices to stay the same but I do expect to be notified of what the cost will be before the order is processed. Each 10kg bag of Excel rabbit food had gone up over £3 a bag in 11 weeks.

These people are the laziest and most inconsiderate people I've dealt with when it comes to online ordering. I opted for the bottomless bowl subscription of a premium cat food sack. Far from cheap. The point of limitless bowl is that every month the food is dispatched and paid for automatically. So far every month I have had to waste hours of my time to talk to someone who can do something, even harder to find someone who isn't coming across purposefully obtuse regarding the situation and even less interested in resolving the issue satisfactorily. I Have been fed the same excuse on most occasions, at other times tried they to blame DPD (who on more on one occasion where very sympathetic and helped sort the issue out for me, as DPD had had to deal with petshop.co.uk lack of apparent organisation concerning deliveries on many occassions). I am exasperated at having to chase up something that should be automated. They never accept responsibility, they never say sorry and not once after 6 months of repeating this debacle have they proferred any compensation. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE ANY CHOICE IN THE MATTER.
