“Not sure if the frame was worth the price. Had to attach tape to the back of the frame as the wooden sides 'sagged'. To be fair it was a fairly long and narrow frame. The card mount wasn't cut very accurately either. Overall not sure I'd return and you the site again.”

“Quality is average but it was delivered very quickly. I did not realised that you had to attach by yourself the hanging fixtures. For the price paid I think you should send the board with the hooks (ikea style) already attached to it.”

“The sizing was exact, and impressed with way supplied as a package, with eyes, cord etc., ready to assemble. Looks good now on the wall, however close up the frame could have been better quality. The delivery was very prompt, so overall quite happy.”

“Forgot to order the acrylic on the frame. Emailed picframes twice and have had no response. Actual frame quality good though.”

“Very prompt delivery and excellent packaging, unfortunately when we took it out of the bubble wrap the clips which fold down to keep the back on were broken free of the frame and the wood split. As we needed it immediately we glued the bits of wood back into place and fixed the frame backing securely with tape. Overall it looked good but we were disappointed in the quality of the build”

“website is very easy to use although some of the terminology around some of the dimensions could be much clearer the ability to be able to specify exactly what you want is great and I could not find this flexibility elsewhere the quality of the cut mounts is not brilliant - our 1st order was so poor that it had to be redone (admittedly quickly and with no quibbles), 2nd order was ok but some mounts did not fit snugly in the frame.”

“Not the best quality if I'm honest but you get what you pay for and there were the cheapest option for my bespoke frame. The plexi-glass was cut a little too small so slipped out of the frame when we were putting it together, once we assembled it everything did fit but it was a bit of a nightmare. Delivery was super quick and prices were good as mentioned.”

“The edges of the oak frame were rough and needed to be sanded to make them smooth. We did not like the acrylic very much as it seemed to attract a layer of dust on its surface and would have preferred glass. We were very impressed by the speed of the service and the messages sent by the delivery team which ensured we knew when the parcel would arrive.”

“Let down by a poor delivery service who gave a delivery slot of 7am-8pm although it was supposed to be a 1 hour slot. Inevitably they tried to deliver the parcel when we were out having waited in for 7 hours!”

“Good service but didn't deliver value in my opinion. The frame looks good but it feels budget. For £56 ish I'd expect glass and not perspex. Don't think I re-order for the price. Hope this helps”

Hello, Thanks for the feedback, it is important to us that you are completely happy. With regard to the actual frame if you would like to swap it for any other style you might prefer please contact me directly, With regard to the glazing we only use the acrylic which is explained at the point of purchase. We use this as it is alot safer in transit through the courier system as you imagine in a frame that size it would be likely for glass to break ans cause possible injury on opening the box. “I have purchased 2 solid oak frames from Picframes. The 1st was a year ago and the frame was perfect. The 2nd frame was purchased a couple of months ago and had 2 faults: There was a 10mm split in the wood which I was able to repair using super glue and the finish was very rough on the front face but I was able to correct by this rubbing with wire wool. The first frame is hung in a private residence in Australia and the second is on the wall at home and the repairs have corrected the problems. I will use this supplier again. I have received favourable comments regards both frames.”
