“Not as good as i thought.... the size was smaller than i ordered and protective sheet was kind of blue tinted than clear. End up not using it. Will think twice before ordering another one.”

“A bit slow once ordered before it was delivered but I was kept informed so I was ok with it. The frame itself is lightweight which is what I wanted but may not be sturdy enough for some people.”

“Good quality product and looks great in our home. Clarity over lead times was poor - lots of articulation and emails that COVID has had an impact. I expected the current circumstances to have an impact but this is poorly managed. It felt like death by a thousand cuts as I received step by step updates making it feel like the order was dragging on and on and on. I would have like to have received an honest up front message just letting me know the overall lead time would be greater than advertised rather than initial silence and then being informed as the advertised lead time approached where my order was in the process and it inferred rather than advised that I would be waiting longer. This would have made me felt more looked after as your customer.”

Hello, Reading your review was like death by a thousand cuts!! Sometimes clients are not a good fit as well. Toooooo much time on the couch and aggressive emails. Not the most professional reply, but sometimes !! MIke

“The company paid attention to detail in getting the exact size correct. HOWEVER I felt that it was extremely overpriced as we had perspex instead of glass and there were no hooks for hanging which was extremely disappointing. It is still sitting in my hall whilst I consider how to attach it to the wall.”

“Easy to select options and order but the quality of finish of the frame and the hardboard backing was not particularly good. All the parts fitted together nicely and were cut to the correct sizes.”

“Took far longer to deliver than was advised despite advertised as in stock. Blame put on suppliers etc. Product well packaged but not as good quality product as I was expecting and are used to, will pay the little extra next time and go elsewhere.”

“The response from placing the order to delivery was very good and the service overall was efficient. The 3 frames I ordered were packaged well and arrived in tact. However, I found the finish on the frames not as good as I had expected. One of the perspex inserts just about fit the frame once the picture was in it, and another one had not had good quality control as the edging that presumably is cut at the time of fitting had only been cut halfway along one side and it was impossible to cut it myself. The only way I could get the cover inside the frame was to force it in. The frames are not cheap and I had hoped for a better finish on the elements of it. I can't fault the service however”

“Frame is not straight. Noticed this when we put it up. One side is slightly bend and does not sit against the wall . Not sure if you can replace at no extra cost.”

“Happy enough with the custom made frame that we got for ten photos of our dog who we recently lost. Totally understand the delays to delivery at the moment and we weren’t in a rush anyway. When it arrived, there was a slight bend in the backing as a couple of the metal holders hadn’t been pushed back. My main disappointment is in the cut-outs. The borders of each of the ten cut-outs has a couple of millimetre cut at the end of each line which to me just doesn’t look great and suggests lower than average workmanship than I was expecting. I’d post a photo if I was able. I can live with it and it’s not worth the hassle of returning / refunding but not sure I’d use picframes.co.uk again.”

“For a bespoke picture frame I can’t fault the quality. I was disappointed in having to wait a month to receive the frame though. I appreciate there maybe delays due to COVID-19 but felt the delay excessive. Plus, I had to chase for updates and information re my colour choice for mount was seemingly missed off but no one had been in contact to reconfirm this, it was only by me emailing that this became apparent, otherwise the delay would’ve been longer. As I say, I’m happy with the quality of product, but was let down by the level of customer service. I’d also prefer a method of hanging the frame to come already fitted, rather than having to attach fixings myself with screws etc.”

“I have received my order and while one frame is perfect and finished off very well, I am disappointed to say that the second frame is not finished off very well at all down the long sides of the frame, they are very rough. Despite emailing Picframes i have had no response! not impressed.”
