After the pandemic, almost every pizza place got rid of their buffet, and Pizza Hut was no exception.
Since then, it feels like the quality and care for the pizza just isn’t the same. The recipe seems different, and while it still tastes okay, the heart of what made Pizza Hut stand out — that buffet experience — is gone. Like so many other chains, they didn’t learn from what made them unique in the first place.
I haven’t eaten at Pizza Hut in years, mainly because they got rid of the one thing I actually liked — the buffet. Their pizza has always been kind of mediocre, but the buffet made it worth going. “I had ordered the big box plus an extra order of bread sticks for family who was coming for dinner. My mother had stopped to pick up the order for us. They told her they did not have an order for :Jen Miller". She waited outside at the window for over 10 mins waiting for the gentleman to come back about the whereabouts of my order. She finally parked and went inside. The order under the name of "Justin Miller " was really my order and not under "Justin" . That's just what he thought it said. Then She had to wait an extra 10 mins because they did not have my order of bread sticks made. Finally get my order completed. They never gave me the bread sticks that came in the big box deal. We were shortened an order. The pizza and wings were extremely dry. I think will be my last time going to the Lock Haven pizza hut.”
