Warning do not use this company!!!! Miss quotes .. and installed incorrect boiler for a job at a cost of over £3000. No customer service. Is this really a legit company!!!!

Booked an appointment to see an engineer - advised after the event that he wasn't coming. Booked another one, same thing happened (it takes me an hour to get the site & went expressly to meet the engineer on both occasions) so I have wasted 2 days & x4 hours driving just to get a quote.... I was glibly told I should make a third appointment....really ? Seemed very little concern for customer service, customer satisfaction or good old fashioned courtesy. Needless to say I wont be making that third appointment......

After a leak in my bathroom I called plumbing force as I felt I had an emergency. I contacted them by e-mail first and had no response at all. On the phone I was given an important between 10 and 2 but no-one arrived. I rang at 4 and was told someone was on the way. At 6 there was still no one here. I was told that the plumber had injured himself on the last call and would be completely unable to come. I was offered an appointment for the following day but I decided to find another plumber. A complete waste of time.

I needed to get a new Magna-clean fitted to my boiler, as the old one had split, and was leaking. I rang Plumbingforce, and found the operator to be very pleasant and helpful. I had no central heating, but as it was the middle of yesterday afternoon, he said he could send someone tomorrow. I asked if it could be from 3pm onwards, as I work, and if they could give me a ring before they arrived. Today, at 3.30, I received a call from the engineer, Steve Smith, to tell me that he would be with me in a few minutes. He arrived, and fitted my new Magna-Clean, and my central heating and hot water are both back up and running thank goodness.. Steve has only been with the company for a week, I understand, but he was very polite, and a really nice person. He made sure that everything was running smoothly before he left, and tidied up, taking the empty box and some other bits of rubbish away with him. I found him to be very professional, and he certainly knew what he was doing. I would certainly call on Plumbingforce's expertise again, if all the engineers are like him.

Booked an appointment for engineer/plumber to come back and do rework. They rescheduled four times and when explaining our frustration the person handling the call brushed us off and said that's the only time. I have never in my life come across a incompetent organisation like Plumbing Force. They can't even get their spelling correct on their website.

They came to change two taps over for new ones i had no leak they left after changing taps five mins later i have a leak had to stop water over night they supposed to come today no phonecall no plumber what a joke.

The plumber arrived to deal with a toilet cistern leaking from the base. He was in the apartment for no more that 20 and said that I needed a new cistern. He did not remove the cisterm of look directly at the join that was leaking. He said that the toilet would need to me pulled out. After he left I dismantled the cistern myself. A push on join has become detached. I reattached the join and added some sealant. I was charged £144. The plumber was young and appeared in experienced.

Booked an appointment for elderly mother who is 85 and had no heating at all in her living room they cancelled appointment said it would be following day and then cancelled again with no real explanation. I said it was an emergency as her age and no heating did'nt care about that at all. Will never use again and make sure all my friends and colleagues are aware of the poor service.

Should be called Plumbing Farce. Shocking. If there was the option of scoring no stars that's what they'd get. Initial response was good however leak continued post repair. Not a problem, parts under warranty and they said they'd get someone out to me. I've taken a total of four days off work waiting for them. As I type this they are again not coming until supposedly later. I've had engineers stuck at jobs, engineers vans breaking down, engineers going sick. I'm waiting for excuses relating to natural disasters and cholera outbreaks.

We used these plumbers for a leak from our airing cupboard. They didn't turn up the first two times - after us waiting around the whole day and many phone calls asking them where they were and them promising they would be there. But the third time they managed to show, we had to pay an hours rate for someone to take a look at it (and do nothing) at £144 and then another hours rate for them to fix it, plus parts. We figure it's all over, but the leak didn't go away, so we ring up again and they said they would come out free of charge under the guarantee but we would have to pay for any extra parts. They didn't show up on the day they said they would and rearranged on a day we were working without even telling us (we find this out after calling them) after much deliberation I asked my mum to come over whilst we were out and wait for them to arrive. They turned up this time, but my mum was appalled - this man showed up with no equipment and took his muddy shoes all over my house, he got his phone out to use as a torch and after 10 minutes informed my mum that there was a second leak and therefore we had to pay £144 (an hours rate) for him simply to come out and tell us this. She obviously argued but got nowhere and signed a bit of paper that she was told was simply proof that he was there - unbeknown to her this was agreement for them to take the payment from our account. I call up to complain and the most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life shouted down the phone at me, called me a little girl screaming like a banshee amongst other things. I obviously said I didn't want anyone else from that business anywhere near my house again and she told me where to go -well that's great as they'd already taken the money. She was so appalling that I was in tears by the end of the phone call - I asked for the manager and she claimed she was - heaven forbid. For some people £144 (considering we had already paid £400 to fix the problem in the first place) isn't a lot of money, but for us, taken without our permission or with any warning is a big deal. Luckily we paid by credit card and are now disputing the payment so fingers crossed will get our money back, but don't take this risk, don't use these con artists

Had a drain blockage. Explained the problem over the phone and someone was sent out very promptly which was good. However, that was the only good part of the service as he failed to clear the blockage, left sewage all over my garage as he was not careful with the drain rods and wanted to charge £300+vat for not solving the problem. I then spent an hour bleaching the area to clean up after him. We found another company who unblocked the drain within 10 minutes of arrival with no mess and not only that, put a camera down the drain to make sure the pipes were properly cleared and jetted to wash the pipes through and all for just £90. I will never, ever use Plumbing Force again.

They waited all day to then call and say they weren't coming. I have no water, and cannot last all weekend for it. If they had told me earlier I would have had a chance to get an alternative person out. Absolutely disgraceful

Took the day off work and waited 4 hrs for Plumbing Force plumber to arrive, 8am-12pm as requested. Plumber didn't show. I received call to reschedule at 11.30, advising it would be 2-6pm that afternoon. Again, no plumber showed. I recieved a call at 5.45 to reschedule for next day, Saturday, 10-2pm. Again, no plumber showed and no call. I called Plumbing Force, was advised Monday would be earliest. I cancelled whilst listening to the standard issue, 'I can only apologise'.

It was a very bad service that we experienced from this company. We have a number of properties which we let out and we have never been so disappointed. We were charged £144 for the engineer to do nothing. We were told that he would be at the property that day between 11am-3pm but he actually did not turn up until the following day at around 5pm. He took the cover off the boiler but he said he did not know what he could do and did not have a manual. The tenant had to look on the internet for him for the manual but he still would not do anything. We were charged £144 for the engineer's call out and he left the property without any heat. It is a total disgrace and I would never recommend this company to anyone I will actually let everyone know how unprofessional they are, they should not be in business to the public.

Waste your time Star 0/5 if could! Booked this company for a repair and waited for them to come out the morning of the next day as the 1hr call out didn't exist. Waited in all morning for them to come to get a call just before 12 saying my appointment had been moved to the afternoon. Waited all afternoon till 4pm then chased up on phone to be told that out appointment had been moved to 6pm. Eventually revived a phone call a 5pm saying that no one was available to come out! Called British Gas and they are now on their way in the next hr, should have called them in fist place not this cowboy company!

First visit, 2 hours late, £400 dint fix the problem and, crucially, dint tell me specific parts could have fixed it, just that it needed replacing. Took 3 hours to figure that out. Not the smartest engineer. Today, 1 hour late, came round and re-wrote the original quote. Place is an utter joke.

The plumber did not arrive until the day after they had initially promised. He then looked at the toilet and promised to do the work one he had the parts. That is the last we heard of him. Inspite of the lack of action, then full amount has been taken out of our bank account.

Unfortunately, despite a quick visit from a competent engineer (at premium prices), and despite the part being in stock a mile away, the company then cancelled 3 times over 2 days when it came to fitting the required part. Not very good management, and smacks of having got the upfront fee, abandoning the customer to a faulty boiler despite being easy to fix! Very very poor management when engineers always have more "urgent" jobs to attend to-reminds me of builders who "start" jobs and then disappear for weeks leaving you hanging on! Nothing like local tradespeople who you know and live nearby-avoid at all costs!!

We are waiting already two days for the emergency (and expensive) 1-3 hour engineer in Southampton. Called more than 5 times, getting very misleading information. I have now 5 people in blankets without shower or heating in the house already two days. They have charged my card £144 and haven't even show up. Now I am looking for help on facebook if someone can come. Landlords - Please beware.
