I would not recommend Plumbing Force because my (Aug 2020) experience was they that failed to correctly assess the plumbing faults associated with a non functioning Saniplus toilet, recommended an expensive (and unnecessary) solution, and did not respond in a constructive way to my subsequent complaint to them. 1. I contacted Plumbing Force because i had a saniplus that did not work and I thought it needed replacing. 2. Plumbing Force said they needed to visit to make an assessment of the problem - cost £25 3. The Plumbing Force plumber visited and suggested that he might be able to fix the Saniplus if it was obstructed but the charge would be at an hourly rate - cost £118.80 4. The Plumbing Force plumber did not detect the bit of plastic in the U bend of the toilet bowl, or the bit of plastic in waste pipe of the saniplus pump but did say the saniplus needed replacing 5. Plumbing Force provided an estimate for replacement of the Saniplus (£780 incl VAT plus labour at hourly rate £118.80) which I thought was inflated 6. I bought and fitted a Saniplus (which were available for £500 incl VAT online),- but there was still a problem 7. I contacted an accredited saniplus plumber who found the problem ( a piece of plastic in the U bend of the toilet bowl), and fixed the old saniplus with a new diaphragm/membrane -total cost £140 The end result was that I paid Plumbing Forces £118.80, but took their advice to get a new Saniplus £496.90 (though ignored their estimate of £898.80 to replace the saniplus). The net result was that I paid about £750 to fix a problem that should have cost £140. If I had taken up the Plumbing Force estimate it would have cost over £1000 to fix the problem.

Had a very bad experience with this company so do not recommend that you use them. They charge upfront and if they don't or cant finish the job they will still charge a very expensive hourly rate. I have complained about them after they soaked my carpet but haven't heard anything back from them. They are also extremely rude on the phone and threatening if you don't pay. BEWARE

Sending the wrong person for the job then charging for their time. Making up stories about parts missing. Staring fixd price quotes which were not detailed. Charging for parts not needed total bill £384 FOR 2 HOURS WORK and apparently an £11 part. Very very bad customer service even worse installer service. It was just a replacement integrated dishwasher. As a pensioner I feel totally taken to the cleaners. Photo of dishwasher not installed no legs no door this was left like this and I was charged £102 for this mess. Then £282 for a 2 hour fitting job!!!

Absolute shocking company. AVOID! Called out an emergency engineer as my heating wasn’t working (Wednesday). He attended within a few hours (one positive) and proceeded to inform me the issue was the valve which he replaced. Total cost of visit almost £500 for 2 hours work plus part £253. Part online from supplier he said he got it from is £100. Heating has subsequently gone into overdrive and I cannot turn it off. Called the company first thing the following morning (Thursday) and was told the engineer would call me. I heard nothing despite following up 3 times. This morning (Friday) I called again and engineer is off and not back to work until Monday and he will call me then. Informed me that I will be charged if someone else is sent or same engineer attends in person as the engineer had written in the advisory of the invoice that room stat in poor state. This was not mentioned to me at the time nor was there any suggestion that this was a potential cause. I was told it was sorted after he’d replaced the valve. So 5 days of heating on full, radiators boiling hot, cannot switch off all my radiators (have turned down/off the ones I can but they don’t all have a controller), windows open and wasting energy and money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I contacted Plumbingforce to attend a tenanted property of mine in response to the tenant reporting a leak from the shower. They turned up looked at the shower and left without solving the problem or even turning the water off to the shower. The tenant was told that I would receive a report. This never materialised and I was charged £118.

Called out a week ago and they came quickly. However they could not fix the problem and promised to contact me with a solution with estimated costs. We are left without the ability to use toilets or wash basins. However they took payment without an invoice. I telephoned 4 times and was promised that someone would contact me. Then someone phoned to say that they would provide me with an estimate, to rectify the problem. One week later without any facilities I have heard nothing.

I am very disappointed and intend complaining as 10 days ago (Jan 27th) I paid £250 labour charge (plus the call out charge of £102) and to date there has been no result ie. my gas fire has not been repaired and I have not been told what is happening. I paid all this money for the engineer's time to investigate the fault (it took a long time as he phoned the manufacturers) and I understood he was given to believe that the parts would be available but have had no update.

I had very very very bad experience with Plumbing Force entire team. The Plumber called Daniel came and gave the quotation to replace three toilets and hot water boosting pump in my home for GBP 1105. the front office said when booking plumber, they will charge only half of the amount and rest will be charged based on work. But They charged 1105 on my card on first day itself. Daniel fixed three toilets and gave the invoice for 1057. and as he said he will come another day to fix the pump. the first day itself, two of the toilets started leaking and they are not screwed to the floor, so they started moving.. 2nd day he came and he fixed the leakage in the toilet and fixed booster pump (Without testing for hot water) and left in between the work for lunch and said he will come back in an hour. he never came back. we suffered without hotwater in the house with two little kids for three days. I almost did a fighting with front office to get him back to remove the pump from the house as it is not serving the purpose. he has taken the pump back and said they will refun the cost. this happend in Mid june. they keep on charging my card with out asking me, they chnarged three times for around 600£, not sure for what they did. If i call front office, they are saying to send details to after sales through email. I keep on sending the mails, but there is no response. there is a manager in after sales team called Michelle talks very badly. I had very bad experience with entire team, please don't use their services. Daniel said they will collect the waste from the house as well, he kept all the removed toilets in front of the house, it was there for 2 weeks, when i called front office, they said they don't have any service like that. Then i have booked skip and removed all the waste. they don't have any health and safety measures. he made my house as mess. we have served him with Nice Tea, but he did very bad to my house. and the response from front office also very very bad. Thanks

Sorry for the long rant but I had a very nasty encounter with this company and want to warn others! I made an appointment for a repair/service for a domestic gas fireplace, and was assured on the phone that their engineers could fix any make or model. I (stupidly) handed over my card details to secure the booking and was told payment would be taken on completion of the job. They charge a fixed labour rate for the first hour, then by the half hour after that. I was told I'd get a call half an hour before the engineer arrived but he showed up with no such call. When the engineer arrived the first thing he said was "oh I've never seen one like that before" - not a good sign. His manner was strange, and 40 minutes into the hour he had not made any progress aside from confirming that the remote control batteries were indeed new (as I'd told him) my licking every battery in the house - I'm not kidding. He had the user manual, as requested, but did not seem to have any plan of action, just kept saying "This is dead as a doornail", "This is dead as it gets", which I did not find particularly informative. He then said that the manual was "quite vague". At no point did he ask for the installation manual or tell me he needed this. I then looked online myself and found an installation manual, which I showed him on my computer screen and he spent some time scrolling through, reading and rereading sections aloud. He had never heard of Faber (a very large and well-known brand) but on seeing that they were owned by Dimplex, said "There might be a Dimplex office in the UK mightn't there?". At this point I asked if he thought it was something he was able to fix. He said that it was either the receiver or the gas (and kept repeating "either the receiver or the gas" several times) but didn't answer my question of whether he would be able to get it working. I then asked how long he would need, and he responded with the same "it's either the receiver or the gas" and then said he needed to do a gas check. The next 15 minutes were spent inspecting my gas meter. When he returned I asked him again how long he thought it would take, as we were approaching the end of the first hour and didn't seem any closer to identifying the problem, let alone fixing it. I said that if it's not a model he feels confident with then he should say, and I would contact the manufacturer to find a specialist installer. He then started telling me "I'm an engineer, you're not", which I fully acknowledge, but is not how I expect to be spoken to in my own home by somebody I'm supposedly paying to do a job. I told him that I didn't want to indefinitely keep clocking up hours and end up being charged hundreds of pounds without being able to get the fireplace fixed. I felt that his manner was unpredictable, and that he did not have enough knowledge of this particular model of fireplace, so I said that if he can't say how much more time he needs it would be better if he's honest with me and we can find someone else. He understandably seemed a little upset by that, and kept telling me "I'm an engineer, I'm an engineer". At this point I asked him to leave my house as I did not feel that he was being honest or communicating with me appropriately. I refused to sign his work report, so did not authorise them to take the payment. I then phoned Plumbingforce immediately, and was put through to 'Dispatches' who had me on hold for around ten minutes while they spoke directly with the engineer. I was informed that I would still be charged as I had asked the engineer to leave - which was solely on the basis of him being unable to either complete the job or communicate with me, the customer, as to what he planned to do or expected timescales. I eventually spoke to Michelle, the 'Resolutions Manager' who was extremely rude, shouted over me, refused to listen to my complaint and hung up on me twice. She did the same to my partner when he called soon after. I have sent an email complaint (they won't deal with anything over the phone) but have still heard nothing back. This company is a joke - they employ unprofessional, inexperienced engineers and untrained, rude administrative staff, then charge you hundreds of pounds for doing nothing at all. DON'T USE THEM! UPDATE 14/02/17: Over a month later my complaint has still not been acknowledged by Plumbing Force, despite follow-up emails. They refuse to discuss anything over the phone. I have now had to open a dispute with my bank to try and claim my money back. This company is seriously dodgy and have no customer service whatsoever. They also clearly employ someone specifically to screen and block negative reviews online - surely more efficient to just provide a decent service in the first place?!

I have no issue with the work carried out by Stuart however I am disgusted by the mark up on parts obtained. The price of the parts amounted to £97 from Tool Station inclusive of VAT however Plumbing Force inflated the price to £160 plus VAT. Two trips were made to Tool Station as it was discovered that a pipe was leaking after fitting the first part. The amount of time taken to obtain the parts was excessive and of course I had to pay for the time as well. I feel that the hourly rate was on the high side so to then marking up the parts by 60% was a complete ripoff. I would never use this firm again and would never recommend them

Dreadful service. We waited in for 8 hours in total with booked time slots, and no plumber showed up during this time. When we called the office we kept being given new time slots with no apology. Cancelled their services and they didn't seem bothered.

This company is a rip-off company that gets customers to pay for not doing their job. I called one of Plumbingforce engineers to replace my shower, the guy spent 30 minuets without doing the job and left a receipt for me to pay for nothing done. How fair is this and please those out there take note , trust these company at your own risk. He actually enter the wrong time as well , please can someone tell me if they can pay for no job done. I am very disappointed at this and would never recommend such a company rip-off to anyone and their customer services very very poor.

Had an awful experience with this company, they are bully’s who will try and intimidate you I rang to speak to the office about a concern I had about work completed the previous day, the “manager” I was put through to, wouldn’t even let me speak, as soon as I started speaking she called me liar, she wouldn’t even listen to me without jumping to conclusions about what I was trying to say, the “manager” kept coughing down the phone at me which was truly disgusting and when I asked her to stop, she screamed at me and told me that I was out of order and told me to email! Surely a more professional company and “manager” would have actually listened to what I had to say without constantly interrupting me calling me a liar, investigate and come back to me, this “manager” was just completely rude and unprofessional to a customer, I didn't even get a chance to actually tell this person what the actual concern was as she cut me off when I first starting speaking by calling me a liar after I had hung up the phone, the "manager" then rang me back to gloat at me and when again I tried to explain what had happened she wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say, I have never worked with such an unprofessional company, my 7 year old daughter knows how to deal with people better than this “manager” shocked to say the least that someone would actually behave this way – just reminded me of a school bully – Stay away from this company – totally unprofessional.
