After been promised next day service I got a call to say my appointment was cancelled, it was rearranged for the next day I left work early to ensure I was home in time. I called to make sure they were still coming as it was getting late to be told they could not make it. I Shall not be using this company again.

Boiler went wrong on Thursday morning, was told an engineer could come same day between 1-4pm, appointment cancelled at 3pm and deferred til Friday morning 8-11am. The second appointment was cancelled at 10am and I was then told he’d be there between 2-6pm...on a Friday. Not likely, so I cancelled the booking. I don’t regard this as an emergency plumbing service. Will not be calling again.

Our boiler broke on a Sunday evening and being that you were closed Sunday and don't open until 8 on a weekday I had to wait until half 4 when I finished work to call you. Your website says 1-3 hour response but was told, 'well we're closing soon, we don't book any same day appointments after 2 o'clock.' So we booked for the next day meaning I had to take 3 hours off work, with no heat no hot water and this gross gunk leaking from one of our pipes. Got a call at 5.20 saying you weren't coming. Rebooked, took another 3 hours off work and again you're not coming today. I got a sarky very ungenuine 'we're sorry' voicemail and when I called to rebook you couldn't offer an explanation. Got an early morning appointment to try to avoid the same last minute issue now. We're paying you £120 for this appointment and losing £130 at work and all you can say is because you're not operated by ofgem you have no GSOS policy for failed appointments. I may not have something as serious as a gas leak or the water flooding the house, but the way our situation has been treated is so blasé it's a joke.

First lady i spoke to was very polite and professional. I phoned about 2pm and was told a plumber would be with us by 6pm at the latest so we said yes. Because of this we didnt look for another plumber. At 5pm we had a phone call from the call centre to tell us a plumber cant come to us until tomorrow. What a joke and the man at the call centre was abrupt when i questioned it. I will not use this service again after today

Shocking service. Took morning off work for fire service to be done (booked for a 9-12 slot) Half-way through morning phone call to say going to nearer to 3.00pm. Asked if this was going to be definite and that they were still coming and reassured yes they would. Booked rest of day off work only to receive call just after 2.00p.m. to say job to be cancelled. Never used them before and certainly wont do now.

Absolutely terrible service. Was booked for Gas fire service to be done between 9 a.m. and midday. Received telephone call from Engineer at 11.30a.m. to say had been delayed and would be with me by 3.00 p.m. I asked if this was going to be the case ( I was worried I had booked a half-day off work and knew that I would need to book the rest of the day off as well now). Was assured that they would be with me by this time. Was prepared to give the Company the chance even if they were going to be three hours late. However, received further telephone call just after 2.00p.m from their office to say job would have to be cancelled. Never used them before and certainly wont in the future.

To be honest I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I was told someone would be with me within a couple of hours (on a Saturday) just to receive a call 3 hours later saying that no one would be coming that day as there was no one in the area. They turned up Monday morning, changed a washer on a bath tap (whilst the plumber muttered and swore the whole time) the tap worked but made a noise - I was told to turn it up or down and the noise would go away! The next day the tap did not work at all. and for this I was charged over £120, I was informed on the phone that a call out charge would be £100 but no mention of VAT. I called the next to say the tap was no longer working and I was promised a call back which I never got, so I called them back again but unfortunately they couldn't assure me that I wouldn't be charged again, when I asked to speak to a manager I was told that 'managers don't speak to people'. Absolutely horrendous service.

Called them to fix dripping shower. Explained problem and told someone would call. Engineer visited, said needed part and there would be anothrr call out fee to fix it. So basically I paid £100 for someone to call and tell me shower was faulty! When I did a negative review they tried to get it removed by denying I was a customer them complained that I thought it was a rip off. Also never dealt with a complaint Avoid unless you have money to throw down drain.

When the first appointment was cancelled, I rearranged for Monday and begged work for a day off at short notice. Not only did the plumber not arrive on monday, it was only because I called Plumbing Force that I found out he was not available. There was absolutely no apology - the person I spoke to seemed to find it funny that I was unable to take the week off to wait for a one hour appointment, and that I was shocked by the fact they had made no attempt to contact me or even to apologise for breaking two appointments. Foolishly I had already given my credit card details to the company in good faith. I am now concerning that this whole operation is an elaborate scam and will need to cancel my credit card at significant disruption to myself. Oh, and I still have no plumber.

They didn't turn up yesterday or today when booked for my elderly, very disabled parents. They also didn't bother to ring me to let me now today. What kind of company leaves elderly housebound people in with no heating and has no compassion. They had better not have taken any money from my parents account. I will post on all social media to say to avoid.

We were vulnerable as boiler not working. No heating or hot water. Tried various plumbers, not able to come out quickly so we had to go with these, despite misgivings. They want your credit card details up front, and charge very high prices. Engineer came, kept rolling his eyes, warning me it was going to be very bad. Said the whole system needed flushing out and quoted £900 plus Vat. Said he had got the water sorted but couldnt sort the central heating. Phone me when you decide he advised but if you don't do something soon your whole boiler could break down completely. They took the call out fee of £94 from my credit card. Then after he left checked water but it wasnt fixed, still cold!! Got a reputable plumber who laughed, said" excuse my french but what a f.......g c...t and sorted the problem in fifteen minutes. Avoid this company at all costs, read the bad reviews, they are enough of a warning! Can't decide whether to complain as apparently you just get abuse and don't suppose i will get my money back.

Diabolical!!! The fact that there is no address on their website tells the whole story. Booked a service call they did not bother turning up or giving an update. When I called back there was no effort to try and resolve the issue. They would not refund me. "The money is with the bank" THIEVES!!

aldull service first on friday dident turn up kept calling with excuses , came out next morning dident do job has i needed a socket moveing ok that no prob but they took payment out my bank so robed me blind tried to sort out with the team they they say that was call out charge and first hour rubbish they are cons they quoted me a fixed price for the job and said nothibg about call out or per hour he was in my house 10 min

Scheduled to come on a Monday, didn't turn up or even call. Rescheduled for Tuesday, again didn't turn up or even call, gave them a third chance and rescheduled for Wednesday and once again didn't turn up and didn't receive a call. They had two contact numbers for us to let us know. When I called to speak to them about it they were most unhelpful and advised all they can do is to keep rescheduling and can't guarantee an engineer ever.

I'm not surprised that they are trying to suppress bad reviews on here as Plumbingforce are DIABOLICAL! I called them for an emergency as we haven't had hot water for 2 days and we have a 2 month old baby. The young lad that took my call showed that he couldn't give a damn, told me that someone would be here between 2pm and 6pm. We stayed in all afternoon on a Saturday to be called at 5.30pm and told that the engineer would not be able to make it!!! We now have to go for another 2 days until Monday until it is fixed. I couldn't called someone else and got it fixed. Totally incompetent if you ask me and when I called the youngster back to complain he was quite rude in return. Tin pot traders. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!!!

We are a large agency who manage properties nationwide. We have never come across an admin team as useless as the team at Plumbing force. It took 2 weeks of constant calls to finally find out they had not taken a copy of the gas cert at the property, so in turn could not give us a certificate for the £120 services. Very stressful company to deal with, strongly advised to avoid.

Engineer came out checked boiler. Two items needed replacing. Got charged for Labour and vat. He had to come back next day as he couldn't get the parts same day. Didn't realise I would be charged AGAIN for Labour. Won't be using this company very crafty.

Unbelievably poor service, I will never again use or recommend this company. I booked an appointment 2 days in advance for a simple repair to my dishwasher pipe. The booking window was confirmed by the sales assistant and I gave my credit card details to cover the 1st hour. I specifically took a day off work and spent time clearing the area ahead of the plumber's arrival. 60 minutes in to the window, I received a call advising that the plumber would not attend today as he was still working on the previous job. I am sorry, but if a commitment has been made then I would have expected that plumber to turn up, regardless if that was not until late in the evening. All I got was a "hard luck" attitude over the phone, no option to have the work done later than booked - Shocking customer 'service'.

I booked a gas fitter to do a landlords certificate. He was supposed to phone when he was on his way. I received an irate call from the tenant to say he had arrived 30 minutes early and no phone call. On arriving he told me he couldn't remove the boiler cover so was unable to test it. He then said that the 2 gas fires wouldn't pass as there was white marks on the coals also the gas hob was condemned for being too close to the cupboards. I told him it was pointless him going any further so he produced a bill for £144.00 for doing nothing. 3 days later a guy from York Heating and Plumbing came to service the boiler and removed the cover with no problem. I explained what had happened and he carried out a Landlords certificate check for me with no problems. When I phoned to complain i was told I had to pay the call out fee.
