We called plumbingforce to fix a valve on our boiler that was stuck, meaning we couldn’t repressurise it. Engineer came, told us it was just ‘dirty’ and forced the valve. He then topped up the system even though we didn’t ask him to. One week later and said valve is leaking, causing water to pool into our floorboards. Called them back to complain and ask them to fix it and they told me we had called them about a leaky copper pipe (we hadn’t) and that if it was still leaking we needed a part, which would be chargeable. Upon telling them we hadn’t reported a leak at all, they said ‘that’s what our system says’ and refused to help further without a charge. Furthermore, I then had a conversation with Michelle in complaints, who was very loud, rude, and very aggressive and said as it's my boiler which is quite old, and they had to force the lever to get it to work, it's now my problem and I would have to pay for it. Seems a bit odd to have an attitude of 'yes we broke it, but your original problem is fixed so we've done our bit'. She appears to be the person you get passed to when they just want to get rid of you, and doesn't seem to have any customer service training, or any respect for the company's customers, whatsoever. Avoid.

Was told plumber would be with me between 10am and 1pm; received phone call at 12.45pm to inform me that the plumber had been delayed on an earlier job and would be there all day. The caller offered to re-book for the next working day, I declined and found a plumber from elsewhere.

First told a quick slot, then delayed, now been told 2 day wait. This for an emergency call out. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Was given a time slot of 8AM-12PM for the plumber to appear. Called the company just before 12 and then again at 1 when no one showed up. Both times were told the plumber was delayed but would be with us shortly. Then at 2, received a phone call saying that our appointment was cancelled. Would give no compensation for the delay. A ridiculous waste of time.

Terrible service, awful company. When I called I was told an engineer would be out to me by 6pm, at 6.15 the rude woman from the office called me to say it would now be tomorrow (this was an emergency call out) between 8am to noon. At 12.15 she called again to say it would not be today. No apologies, she simply did not care. From what she said on the phone it seems they only have 1 engineer on duty. Asked for a refund on the £120 call out charge. Took days to come back to me. THIS COMPANY IS A BUNCH OF THIEVES DO NOT USE THEM.

Shocking customer service. Cancelled 3 times with no reason. I waited in all day twice (they say you can go out and they will call 30mins away but I have a toddler and animals, 30 mins is not long enough to go anywhere!) tried to rebook as I actually really wanted it done, could not offer me anything reasonable so I had to give up.. So I still have no fire! Guy I spoke to (when I rang them after the 3rd no show) sounded as if he couldn't care less. Very frustrated, what a waste of time.

My mistake was not coming to sites like this before engaging Plumbing Force. Gas heater didn't work. They got the heater going. The very next day it didn't work......they agreed to come back but postponed, cancelled more than five times......simply cannot be trusted.

Did not turn up for the first appointment I booked with them. On the 2nd appointment when they did turn up said the cost was £150 per hour + VAT. The most expensive engineers in London and would not refund my call out either. Worst company I have dealt with.

On two occasions nobody turned up! I had no phone call from the company or the person that was meant to look at my mega flow system. Bad service all round

absolutely appalling service... we were promised a plumber to fix a boiler between 3pm and 6pm. They phoned at 4.30pm to say they weren't coming... incredibally bad attitude from the operator who didn't care that they had wasted our time and it was now too late to find an alternative.... avoid at all costs

Booked a plumber as had an emergency with water pouring through the ceiling. Was told plumber would attend by 12 noon. got a voice message just before telling me 'they weren't coming, could possibly come tomorrow'! worst poss service imaginable. do not use this company!. mr J stevenson

Zero stars if I could. Lied to me all day that somebody on their way to fix my boiler. Now saying no record of my calls and nobody available until Monday (today is Saturday). Rude staff who appear to be trained to lie. Avoid at all costs. My children say thanks for the cold bath. Idiots

Did work for my 90 old mother. All good. Took her card number before and all paid. Now noticed a few months later they took another £307 from her account. When I rang they said sorry it was a mix up. Still waiting for a refund! Be careful of the company.

Said they would come to do a Gas Safety Certificate that was needed for new tenants. Gave me a time slot then did not turn up. I rang said they were delayed. Then said they could not come at all. Other firms said they had no one available, fair enough. But Plumforce said they would come and did not show. Not reliable.

After been promised next day service I got a call to say my appointment was cancelled, it was rearranged for the next day I left work early to ensure I was home in time. I called to make sure they were still coming as it was getting late to be told they could not make it. I Shall not be using this company again.

Boiler went wrong on Thursday morning, was told an engineer could come same day between 1-4pm, appointment cancelled at 3pm and deferred til Friday morning 8-11am. The second appointment was cancelled at 10am and I was then told he’d be there between 2-6pm...on a Friday. Not likely, so I cancelled the booking. I don’t regard this as an emergency plumbing service. Will not be calling again.

Our boiler broke on a Sunday evening and being that you were closed Sunday and don't open until 8 on a weekday I had to wait until half 4 when I finished work to call you. Your website says 1-3 hour response but was told, 'well we're closing soon, we don't book any same day appointments after 2 o'clock.' So we booked for the next day meaning I had to take 3 hours off work, with no heat no hot water and this gross gunk leaking from one of our pipes. Got a call at 5.20 saying you weren't coming. Rebooked, took another 3 hours off work and again you're not coming today. I got a sarky very ungenuine 'we're sorry' voicemail and when I called to rebook you couldn't offer an explanation. Got an early morning appointment to try to avoid the same last minute issue now. We're paying you £120 for this appointment and losing £130 at work and all you can say is because you're not operated by ofgem you have no GSOS policy for failed appointments. I may not have something as serious as a gas leak or the water flooding the house, but the way our situation has been treated is so blasé it's a joke.

First lady i spoke to was very polite and professional. I phoned about 2pm and was told a plumber would be with us by 6pm at the latest so we said yes. Because of this we didnt look for another plumber. At 5pm we had a phone call from the call centre to tell us a plumber cant come to us until tomorrow. What a joke and the man at the call centre was abrupt when i questioned it. I will not use this service again after today

Shocking service. Took morning off work for fire service to be done (booked for a 9-12 slot) Half-way through morning phone call to say going to nearer to 3.00pm. Asked if this was going to be definite and that they were still coming and reassured yes they would. Booked rest of day off work only to receive call just after 2.00p.m. to say job to be cancelled. Never used them before and certainly wont do now.
