“Items sent out were chipped and scratched (they were decorative bits). Response to my complaint: "this is how they are supplied from the supplier so we are unable to achieve any better quality." A typically British, miserabilist response. No respect for what they sell, no respect for customers.”

“Purchased A Clarke portable generator. Generator would not start and was found to have a damaged starter housing. Tried to contact Power Tools Direct via telephone and email and no response or answer from them. Terrible customer service to say the least.”

“You supplied a 'Clarke' swimming pool pump which I found easy to order on line and the delivery was very prompt and efficient. This is now fitted and working, Thankyou. My only comment about the appliance is that this is the 2nd replacement pump we have needed in 25 years and the fittings and union threads have been different for each one. There should be an industry standard for pump/pool fittings.”

The P&P was the most I have ever paid for anything I’ve ordered on line from a company in this country, didn’t think you could pay so much for postage for something that didn’t require a signature and fit through my letter box.”

“Fast delivery and good quality stainless steel buckets. The packaging wasn't great though (just plastic wrap) so they could easily have been bashed with a less careful courier.”
