“Unfortunately this lost higher reviews purely because of a delivery error meant the main item in our order was missing and then after a call I was told it would be sent out the same day and be with us the first day after the weekend. This did not happen as the courier forgot to take it. However, the company did then get it to us the following day (5 days after first expected) and compensated us. - a nice touch showing good customer service when things do go wrong. The items were all fine and I would still use Powertool mate again because of the rectification following error.”

“Ok the order process on line went well, but having asked for a delivery date got no reply. Also when I placed the order I was asked for a note regarding the actual delivery for the courier who either didn't comply with the instructions or didn't get it, because the parcel was left in a ups shop about 5 miles from my home , from where I had to collect. So from a good start it ended on a sour note .”

“This could have easily been a 4 Star review or higher. The product was dispatched quickly and was a good price but it arrived with no original packaging, instructions or warranty details. It appeared to have been taken from a Makita kit, which in itself isn't an issue but it looked like it was just wrapped in card and stuck in a box for the carrier. I didn't have any tracking details sent but delivery was quick so missed it and had to collect it. The drill itself is very good and Makita has registered it for three years warranty so no problems there.”

“The price of the set was good value, extra postage charges where added for delivery to Northern Ireland which is usually standard post with Royal Mail. Instead, after paying the extra charge, the parcel is out for delivery by UPS and still has not arrived ( one week after order). There has to be a more efficient service available than this.”

“This isn’t really against Powertoolmate but more against the courier, received an email with a delivery date but it never arrived, received it 2days later , the driver telling me he had it on his van on that day but didn’t get to deliver it, then it disappeared from his van only to reappear 2days later, very poor”

“The tool itself is fantastic, as you’d expect of Makita, and the price was decent. However if you’re in a rush for something I wouldn’t advise using Powertoolmate. Ordered Saturday midday it didn’t arrive till late on Thursday, the courier, UPS, must’ve sent me a dozen emails with updates for delivery times which were all wrong, the most accurate delivery time they gave me was “by the end of the day Wednesday” when it hadn’t arrived by late Wednesday I got another email saying it would arrive “by the end of the day Thursday” - which it eventually did, with the box damaged. Not good if your arranging things around deliveries. I’ve used FFX before and their courier delivers next day free(even when ordering on Sunday) and they gave me an hour slot for delivery which they stuck to exactly. In summary: top product, good price, very poor delivery.”

We dispatched the item the next working day after you placed the order. Regrettably when a parcel is collected by UPS it is out of our control. However, this still adheres to our 3-5 standard delivery timeframe.
