“I had Ilia Kolmagorov as my instructor and I really enjoyed the course. It provides various helpful kinds of material including Shaan Patel's books, linear non-timed modules, timed practice tests (that are adaptive and as hard as the actual college board SAT), and hard math quizzes. All of these things make it so that no matter what you are looking for, Prep Expert will help you improve. I learned so many strategies from this course and I think it taught me exactly how to think when solving SAT problems. The instructor was genuinely really funny and enjoyable. Before the course, I got 1310 on my SAT, and so far I have been getting 1410 - 1460 on the Prep Expert practice tests. Prep Expert is also super responsive and immediately will solve any problems with the website with a quick live chat message.”

“Before taking the Prep Expert SAT class, I studied for the exam alone and took it, and I ended up unhappy with my score. Taking the class helped push me to dedicate time to study for the SAT, and I feel a lot more confident to take it now. My first official SAT score was 1430; I have scored above 1560 on my last several practice tests. The strategies I learned were nothing groundbreaking, but I have seen a vast increase in my score by consciously applying them. Additionally, the resources provided by Prep Expert are excellent and exactly what I wish I had access to when I began my SAT journey. My instructor, Dr. Ilia Kolmagorov, was hilarious, and I often found myself chuckling at his jokes and references. I love how engaging the class was, and I have learned so much thanks to Dr. Kolmagorov and Prep Expert!”

“I had an incredible experience with Prep Expert. My instructors Miguel and Nirmal did a great job at making the course both informative and engaging. While the workload was challenging at times, it was incredibly rewarding, as I was able to improve my score by over 250 points in just a few weeks. One of my favorite parts of the course was how it made me feel like I belonged to a community of other students, each with the common goal of improving their score.”

“Miguel Chavira was my Prep Expert instructor, and throughout this informative journey, my SAT score on the practice tests has improved greatly (in the 700s for both Math and Reading SAT) and overall, made me so much more confident in my skills. I believe in my ability to keep on improving with the important tips I have learned during this course. I loved how every piece of information was taught with such care and detail, and how every question was heard and answered thoroughly. This course not only taught me so much about the SAT, but it also gave me a sense of community that signaled that I wasn't alone in this hard, self-improvement journey of mine.”

“Ilia was great throughout the entire course. He made us all laugh with his jokes and amicable personality. (The signature different colored collared shirt such as peach and lemon sorbet always brought smiles to all of our faces when we joined the class). Academically, furthermore, Ilia explained each and every Prep-Expert strategy with such precision. He would wait and make sure that each and every person in the class fully understood the topic at hand before moving on (even though there were about 50 of us). All in all, my score personally went up by about 130 points from a 1220 to a 1350 and I can’t thank Ilia enough for helping me. Thank you Ilia, truly. 🙏❤️”

“This course has helped me to improve significantly! My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov. He was very helpful and a great teacher! He gave thorough explanations and encouraged students to ask questions. From the first time I took the PSAT 8/9 to my most recent practice test, I have improved by around 300 points. All of the practice that Prep Expert provides is incredibly helpful. I also liked the pace of the class and my instructor kept the class engaged. I would highly recommend Prep Expert to anyone who is looking for structured SAT learning and preparing class.”

“I was very lucky to have my instructor be Ilia Kolmagorov for the 6-week course. Before taking this course, I was struggling with understanding what I should study to improve my score. I was very anxious because on the internet everyone tells yo to do something different. Upon enrolling in this course, the first thing I noticed was how my instructor did a good job of keeping everyone engaged. He would crack jokes and make it more of a fun thing to look forward to. The course overall is very well structured and having due dates made it easier for me to plan my studying for the week. I have noticed the biggest improvement in my reading and writing score due to the stratergies provided throughout the course. When I took the full length adaptive test after the first full week of courses, I was pleasently suprised that my score was already higher than any score I had gotten taken the PSAT. It was a big confident boost that helped drive me to continue to work hard in this course. I would reccemond that people sign up for this but it's good to remember that you will only get as much out of it as you put into it. Thank you Ilia Kolmagorov and Prep Expert for everything!”

“Ilia Kolmagorov was my instructor, and he was great! He explained how to solve questions very thoroughly and eliminated any confusion I had for challenging problems. He also cracked a lot of jokes every session to engage us and make us laugh while going over problems, which I appreciated a lot. With his help, I went from a 1420 to a 1570 on the practice tests, which is huge. I’m not not nervous at all to take the SAT next month. This course was honestly a lot of fun and would definitely recommend it to anyone trying to get a good SAT score.”

“My instructor, Miguel Chavira, and teaching assistant, Nirmal, really helped me navigate the challenges of my SAT journey. Their clear guidance and consistent support made a demanding course feel more manageable. Miguel’s structured approach helped break down complex topics, making them easier to understand, while Nirmal was always available to answer questions and provide helpful feedback. In the end I was able to recieve 1560 on my highest practice test (I am still awaiting my real test results), and I started with a 1360. Whenever I felt overwhelmed by the fast pace their patience and willingness to help kept me on track. Their dedication created an environment where I felt supported and motivated to do my best. This course pushed me to think critically and apply my knowledge in ways I hadn’t before, making it one of the most valuable learning experiences I’ve had. The fast pace and heavy workload required discipline, but with Miguel and Nirmal’s support, I was able to stay focused and improve my skills. Their mentorship helped me gain confidence, not just in the SAT but also in my ability to tackle difficult challenges.”

“My teachers were Mr. Miguel and Nirmal. I liked his tips and how he emphasized that we shouldn't assume in the reading section. I would say I improved so much in reading with those little tips. I value his comprise to our class and how he never gets tired of asking our questions. Even though he has already answered that question 100 times he will answer it again and with a good attitude. It is nice to see him as an example and how he shared with us that his initial score was a low one and his final score was a GREAT one. I want to be like that and I do see myself improving. Another thing that I also liked was his tips on mental health and the pressure that the test might cause. I always felt like it was a safe space with Mr. Miguel and believe me, I was never afraid of asking something. Even though I haven't taken my test yet I do feel like I am improving. For some practice tests I have taken my score has improved to 1410 and 1420. I know I am proud of myself for achieving this but I wouldn't have achieved this without Mr. Miguel. Thank you Mr. Miguel and thank you Prep Expert.”

“My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov and I genuinely had a great time in his class, the environment was super welcoming and engaging, and our class was unforgettable. “I was nervous at first when I took this SAT class, but after a few sessions with Miguel and Nirmal, my confidence grew. They taught amazingly and had excellent teaching skills.
