“My instructor Miguel Chavira was absolutely amazing. He explained everything we needed and went above and beyond what was provided to him by prep expert even. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. Before his class I was slated to be a very unlikely student to receive more than 150 points on my Sat on top of what I’ve gotten before, but with what I was able to learn with Miguel, I’ve gained a total of 260 points additional points on practice tests. The short time I’ve shared with him over just zoom call has the potential to completely turn my life around with the knowledge I know posses because of him. I genuinely jumped out of my seat when I got my first score over my target of 1400, with it being a 1530. Just this number has made my parents that much more proud of me coming from my past of mediocrity in academic areas and changed completely how I view myself personally in how much potential I perceive myself to posses and the tangibility of scoring anywhere above a 1300. I will talk about this class and Miguel Chavira as one of the fundamental factors in my life that will hopefully lead to an incredible future (It’s hasn’t been THAT long yet) starting with admittance to my college of preference. A school that was my dream reach 3 months ago, now feeling firmly within my likelihood of attending thanks to this class primarily. I can’t thank Miguel and PrepExpert enough for the incredible change and confidence they have imbued me with in just the 12 weeks I’ve participated. I will not soon forget what has transpired. Miguel Chavira should, like, totally also get a huge raise. Or like a reallly big Christmas bonus. Or a Porsche. (I’m really sorry I’m submitting this review twice, I put my email in wrong the first time 😬)”

“Michael Chavira was my tutor for the 6 week course. He went over amazing strategies which boosted my scores and taught me lessons that I found I could use not only on the SAT test, but also in the real world. “Miguel Chavira was someone I would like to have as a personal tutor. His way of teaching really helped me understand most the lessons and whenever I had any questions. He always read my questions and he did his best to answer it in a way I understand it. I don't believe he ever missed one questions because he is that type of tutor. A tutor that cares for his students and wish the best. As one of his students, I wish him the best. Thank you Miguel, I won't let you down.”

“Customer service is bad and not clear on what to do. Lack of support. When their website went down, they have no proper protocols or policy in place to handle it. This was 10 mins before class started. So I reached out to support which is via sms text. They gave the generic reply and after an hour we were able to connect. They said a makeup would be in place. And an email will be sent out on what to do next. But no email. So my kid is just sitting there with no next step. They assume we know to watch the recording. Glenda their director of enrollment said they will reach out by the next day of outage. But none was made. Not professional at all in addressing the issue and aftermath. All I expected is Communication!! At this point it is no different then watching a YouTube video about SAT and taking the practice from a book. Their exam is not digital like the real test, that will adjust the difficulty level as you answer right or wrong. Will not recommend this product.”

“I had Taylor Trautwein as my instructor, and it was an amazing experience! She was patient, responsive, and actively engaged with all the questions, even outside class time. The strategies and resources provided helped me feel more prepared and confident going into my SAT and resulted in a 60-point score improvement. “My instructor was Mr. Jameson and he was really helpful! He had a very positive and fun attitude in class so it created and extremely exciting atmosphere to be in. He joked around many times and it made it an enjoyable class. I also felt his explanations were really good especially with Science and Math. Mr. Jameson also helped us just get a lot of background info and how the ACT would benefit us in college applications too which was really really helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed the class and feel more confident about taking the ACT.”

I saw significant improvement in my practice tests going from a 1340 on the first one to a 1520 on the fifth. She made the lessons very engaging and I never found myself bored. She was also kind enough to give us her email so we could ask her any questions we had on the homework, which showed how dedicated she was to make sure we were as prepared as we could be. Overall I think that prep expert helped me so much, as I feel more confident leading up to my SAT. I continuously find myself answering questions with more ease and confidence. Prep expert strategies have also helped me improve my overall studying for school and AP exams, and I will definitely take these with me to college and beyond to help ensure my academic success!”
