Just closed on new home in Pinebrook Community, Auburn GA, the craftsmanship is horrible, I believe that when you point out things in the final walk thru they fix the most obvious things you see. paint and dry wall terrible. some with no experience could have done better. Pointed out a problem with the roof before we moved in told it was fixed six weeks in roof has same issue.

The materials are very cheap and they didn't honor their contracted annual repairs after one year of being in our new home. They have made promises upon promises to fix our repairs, but it's been 2 years, and we are seriously considering a lawyer to get to the bottom of this at this point. I DO NOT recommend!

We had our home built in 2019 and I just have to say that there are some things that we did not notice after the build. Normally, it takes time to see any defects in the home, and one major problem we are have is the cabinetry above our microwave, the ceiling part isn't even attached which is really shotty work. Unfortunately we didn't notice this until I was reaching for something, and I just happened to glance and notice it was there a week ago. We are also having issues with out water heater, we can barely take one shower before the water gets cold. To add to that our water pressure drops in all sinks when the shower is running. I filed a repair ticket with Pulte and received a call back from Bill, when I explained the issue had a snarky attitude with me with not remorse and told me all my issues were out of warranty. This is highly frustrating as a new homeowner, and now I understand why their warranties are short. When we moved in, we also had a few bushes die which were only covered for 30 days, this is absolutely ridiculous as that's not enough time, especially to inspect the home for any flaws mentioned above. The only reason why we bought a Pulte home was because we love their floor plans, but their customer service and the people who build them are horrible and do really bad work. We've had other issues were there were wrong screws used, outlets painted over, and some parts of the house not even painted. I'd like to speak within someone at Pulte about these issues and have the plumbing issues repaired, as well as address the cabinet issue.

We wrote a bad review, Pulte reached out asking for our name and what is wrong. We did and they replied they will have their team call us by 48 hours. They got what they wanted, no shock their. they never reached out. Not being able to use my own showers because they are leaking in the walls, and since day 1 toilets shooting up water for no reason, very unsanitary when you're using it and it happens. The condo is only 9 months old. Northeast warranty, Pulte and building manager, can't even get a plumber to my house. I even took videos of everything. We had rain pouring in our sliding door and our back door wasn't opening correctly, took months to get that fixed. My neighbor already had his toilets and showers back up in his entire house. You think they would fix mine before that happens, but it's been 9 months and they're still not getting it fixed. I wish I researched better on Plute and Northeast warranty. Absolutely terrible. We are now hiring a lawyer and calling Board of Health. Horrible Pulte Company!!!!

We highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a Pulte home think again and choose another builder. There were many problems with the structural part of our home, and the warranty. Pulte will fix cosmetic issues while in warranty, but not fix reason for issue. We spent 10,000.00 to professionally fix reason for issue. Do yourself a favor and look for another home builder. If his review can prevent only one person from a big mistake, it is worth our time to write this review.

Pulte started building our house in the summer of 2021, Parrish, FL. The foundation was put up. There were many blocks that had mortar cracks. We were told that they would be filled and fixed. That did not happen. It was covered with insulation on the inside and stucco on the outside. The framing was poorly done. We were told it would be fixed. It was drywalled and mudded over. We complained, so they cut out pieces from around the house and tried to piece fix it. There are places where the drywall is not screwed into anything in some of the corners. Walls were crooked, bowed, and had insufficient bracing. Boards were notched out with no other support. Boards were not cut to length to reach their intended destination, so some had an inch gap at each end. They just kept going. The garage door was jammed into the hole for it, which was out of square. As a result, the door does not fit correctly, and the frame is cracked at the bottom. We were told that they can't get it back out. But, we are told we will get a new door in there. It hasn't happened. The front outdoor foyer ceiling is uneven as you walk toward the house and out of the house. Some of the openings in closets measure differently from one end to the other. The brace that goes across the hallway by the living room is uneven. The drywall around the windows and sliding glass door is all uneven. We are not sure how window blinds will even fit properly. It needs to be fixed. We are not sure about the condition of the tile, as it is covered up at this time. There are blocks in the garage that have huge chunks out of them. They put drywall up in the ceiling and now it's not sealed in those areas. You could see daylight, before the gutters were put up. There is also another spot where daylight can be seen. The garage floor has spider cracks throughout its entirety. It looks like a tree. We asked the construction manager if he would be okay with the way the floor is if it was his own house, and he would not answer us. We are told that they had a strength test done on the floor and that it had passed, but we have not been given that information. We were told that 1/4-inch cracks are in tolerance for Pulte. But, they are willing to epoxy the floor for us. To top it off, our own field manager was the one that pointed out 85% of the issues to us and assured us they would ALL be fixed. We call the house, the "Scratch and Dent" model, because it is. Our realtor saw the issues. He had a phone conversation with some "higher ups" at Pulte. Pulte/Centex, said that we could walk away and lose our deposit money or let them finish the job. They work according to Pulte standards, and our standards are too high. They even threatened to keep us off the property. We are supposed to trust them, they say. Trust was gone months ago with lie after lie. This was our first new built home. All we asked for was a quality-built house. We got a rushed pieced-together structure...not a home. We were led to believe that Pulte prided itself with good customer service and excellent building standards. We have experienced firsthand that Pulte's prior reputation no longer exists. We have been deceived, disrespected, mislead, and told to except a pieced-together structure. Anyone associated with Pulte should be embarrassed. We have many pictures and videos that document our journey, which we will post at the appropriate time.

The worst stay away from. But you probably know that by now. Arbitration clause. Pulte will make more money suing there sublets than building a home properly. They cannot stay true to their word. The have a staggering amount of money put aside just to legally lock up the little guys. Built a home in Santa Fe New Mexico with Pulte and have regretted the purchase ever since. $500+ k for a house with no working a/c. leaking roof, cracked floors, no doors are square, lock properly or ever have. Security issue yes. Caused sewage to back up the first day we were there ruining our tub. And have never stepped up to do the right thing. David Van Doren. Matthew Schlacter you two are trash! A job is not worth all the negative things you do to people. Stay away. 0 stars they have done financial damage my family will never recover from.

Pulte is horrible. They use low-quality materials and it is almost definate that you will have problems in your home. There is NO insulation between floors for noise. NO insulation under your shower for leaks. I've been here only 2 years, and can go on. They are all about the sparkle when you first walk in. Believe me.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Pulte is the absolute WORST builder ever. They have no regard to human life whatsoever. Let me explain… The home early in the process had some windows busted out at the rear of the house. The house backs to a major street. My family would visit the house often during the build process, and noticed that more windows were getting busted throughout the process. I had no idea what was going on and just assumed that the construction crew broke them on accident. Come to find out 2 weeks before we were supposed to close, my home along with all the others on my same street were constantly getting vandalized by people throwing rocks from the sidewalk just on the other side of the wall. (SEE PICS of the damage and huge rocks on the wall next to my house) One of the neighbors that closed on his house told me that he had to install solar screens on their back windows, so that the rocks would just bounce off, instead of busting out the windows. This caused a VERY HUGE concern for my family, as the window they busted out was the window to the master retreat, which will be used as our nursery. Can you imagine what could have happened to a new born in a bassinet if this happens again? It could be fatal! We explained our concerned and asked to cancel our contract and receive our full earnest money back, but were denied!!! How is fear of the safety of your family not a legit reason to cancel your contract without penalty? Kind in mind, this home was a spec built, so that means Pulte picked out all the options, so once again we should be able to get our $16,900 deposit since we didn’t make any design studio options. As of right now, Pulte is holding me hostage! They will not let me cancel the purchase without them retaining my deposit. I have sent multiple pictures as proof that this is on on-going problem with people vandalizing the homes and explained my concern even to the General Sales Manager. However, they have no regard to human life or for anyone’s safety for that matter. All they care about is selling homes and taking people’s hard earned money. I have been polite this whole time, but now have no other option but to ligate. THAT IS JUST HALF the issues. Besides the on-going vandalism. Pulte does a horrible job building homes. They cut major corners and use the cheapest materials possible! I have included pictures in this review so that you can see. When my family and I would come visit the house during construction, we would see workers kids working on the house. Our house was going to cost us $670,000 and I couldn’t believe that they put in the cheapest carpet, padding and toilets. Nothing in the house matches. They put in the cheapest chrome faucets with black cabinet pulls and brushed nickel door handles. The kitchen island is being held up by shims, since they cut the island uneven. (SEE PICS) During the frequent visits during the construction phase, we caught a man peeing in a bottle in the master bedroom closet! I took pictures and shared them with our sales consultant. We found multiple pee bottles in the home. PLEASE AVOID THIS BUILDER AT ALL COST!!! There are plenty of other Builder’s in the Vegas.

First Home Buying Experience: We selected our model and picked the lot in January of 2020. Our sales rep Ashton Smith was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of the questions we had along the way. She was flexible with her time and was able to accommodate our schedule when it came to the design phase of our home. I found myself with random first time home buyer questions and was able to text her with quick response times in return. Ashton was a great resource when it came to upgrade decisions and provided us with helpful details and hints along the way. Our build started in June 2020 as the builder was on a roll out plan for start days. The builder we started with, Keith, had been with Pulte for over 20 years and was able to break all pieces and parts of our blueprints out in a way that we understood completely. During this meeting, he went through a build booklet that essentially outlines the timeline for our entire project. We always knew what was coming next and never left wondering what was going on. Shortly after the ground was broken, our builder changed to a different person to finish our project. This is when we met Jessica McCoy. She took over the weekly build calls and maintained the integrity of our home in more ways than you can imagine. Her knowledge, attention to detail and communication were more than I would ever expect from a builder. I often had questions during the framing process and was able to text her with those inquiries. She not only responded quickly, she also shared Google links that reviewed definitions and reviews for the products being used on the house. I was blown away with her kindness and thorough responses. Both Jessica and Ashton helped with a couple of change requests along the way with positivity and attention to detail. The build quality walk though was so in depth and really featured all of the quality products that Pulte uses and my realtor even mentioned that she had not seen other builders do such a nice job in such detail. Finally came our 1 week before closing walk through. This took 3 hours to complete and Jessica was so professional, positive and thorough. We were so happy to see our home come to life and find out how everything works and even do “hands on” trials of turning things on and off and setting system. It made me feel comfortable knowing I can maintain our home with confidence. Hands down this was the BEST experience of my life. Home buying is scary, but Pulte made it easy! I can’t brag enough about my builder Jessica McCoy and the entire Pulte Group at Sunset Pointe in Fort Worth! We close tomorrow and are SO excited to live in our new home!

MAKE SURE YOU BRING A REALTOR WHO UNDERSTANDS GOOD CONSTRUCTION. PULTE PAYS THEM THE 2.7% AND YOU GET AN ADVOCATE. THE 3RD PARTY VENDORS ARE OK AT BEST.

Bought a $675k house that was built on a shoestring budget. Cabinets are warped, sinks and fixtures are installed crooked and materials are cheap. Tiles in the shower were cracked and bulging and grout was missing. Warranty and service is a joke. Will never buy Pulte again and you shouldn't either.

Pulte buyers beware- I am building a with pulte in starling here in Las Vegas. I am less than a week from being done (after waiting 9 months) I was told these would be the doors in my $1mil house- I was told I’d be charge a daily fine for not accepting the house with these doors, as they have deemed the house done. I can write a novel of misery and aggravation -to include threats to make me switch lenders at the last minute, to the dismissive local sales staff , zero empathy. Corporate directs you the local team, and the local team blames corporate. Please consider another builder or make sure you GET IT WRITTING . I’ll consider removing this if I get a call from someone not from Vegas team- I specifically do not want to hear from Angela Steffen or Ray Abraham .

RUN RUN RUN!!!! Pulte is crooked, corrupt and an awful company to do business with. They don't follow through on their promises. Purchased a new home in Sterling Ridge community. Only at the beginning stages of construction and can already see that these homes are stamped out using the cheapest grade materials with the most untalented crews in the industry. Don't know how they are passing inspections but I have my suspicions. Bottom length of wood trusses butt fit in pieces connected with joist connectors. Sloppy framing details i.e. parts of sill plate missing foam barrier, cardboard sheathing haphazardly installed (over-lapped joints, different bottom lengths at sill, stapled, the worst (almost comical) air-sealing tape job I've ever seen, 10yr shingles. I can only imagine what's next based on the reviews I've seen on many other sites. Carlos Cortez is the worse Field Manager, lack of communication all the time.

Do not I repeat do not buy a home from pure homes until you go talk to people living in the area where you want to buy. Pure homes are cheaply built even getting passed by state inspectors that do not meet specifacations. We at Hamilton springs in louiyky have to fight pulse every step of the way and now are in the proceyof suing the company. Pure has only one thing in the mission and that is profit not quality. I’m just say go check it out with the residences and I bet the majority of you will not buy from pulte homes

Awful home builder. We had an independent inspection service come out and inspect our new Pulte home. He found many problems. Some are structural. Thousands of dollars of repairs are needed. Now we are being dismissed by the so-called Pulte Customer Care Manager. Seeing a lawyer.
