The worst experience ever, do not use them or do business with them!!! Unfortunately we had to deal with this bunch of unprofessional people for a months and a half, and this is for rental (!). This was the longest process to rent a flat ever. We made a rental offer on May 20, on May 21 we received an approval so that day we filled in the application, provided references and paid the initial deposit. By May 23 we received a notification that the reference check was completed. And then the hell started. I had to chase a representative from Purplebricks re the status on our contract, etc and there were just constant lying, I am specifically referring to Areen Nazir. Every time there was something. I was very close to just walk away as we lived in limbo not knowing when and if this move would happen. We finally got a contract on Jun 23 (they wanted us to move on Jun 25!). We received a signed contract on Jun 28 (!) and we were supposed to vacate our old property on Jul 1. Being 5 month pregnant I had literally 2 days to pack my old property in 2 days. On Jun 29, I received a series of patronising emails that I owe Purplebricks - £0.85p (!) as they indicated “a wrong amount on deposit” in our contract. No apology, no explanation (this was Adam Pitt) – just a demand which followed by a new set of docs for us to sign. To top this all up – this £0.85p was a mistake and the initial amount was correct so then they had to reimburse £0.85p… Again no apology (Adam Pitt). I complained and some lady called me back and promised to send everything in writing… still waiting. This is not the end – apparently Purplebricks submitted to Westminster Council and utility providers information that we moved into a property on Jun 25 and now they all asking to pay bills for a week I was not living in the property… I thought our engagement with this horrible company was finished but no I still have to deal with the mess they created for me. Please be aware and under any circumstances do not use this company!

Very poor service. Signed up for top package £1599 Inc vat. Invoiced me for £1808. Ten months still not sold. Have queried the price difference in a letter of complaint. No contact from PB apart from an email saying we will respond in full after 15 working days. It’s now 23 days still no reply. In the beginning I did some viewings myself as they had no staff even though I paid for accompanied viewing. Unable to speak to anyone. I’m putting a package together to send to the Ombudsman

I had an appointment to view a property at 5pm, which I had booked online. However, I received a request to reschedule the appointment to 7pm and received a confirmation email for the new time. I arrived at the appointment and waited for the agent, Luke Saunders, for an extended period of time, but he never appeared. I tried calling him early to confirm the time since I was traveling from Nottingham to Birmingham for the viewing, but he did not answer the call and eventually switched off his phone. He also did not respond to any of my messages. Unfortunately, I wasted my time and effort by going to the appointment, only to discover a complete lack of professionalism. I would strongly advise against dealing with them.

Done no work, just say reduce the price that they valued it at only a month before! We did and still no viewings, so what is their answer reduce the price! Waste of time and money.

Avoid this scam operation they will take money for doing nothing at all. They didn't get a single viewing for us in 4 months despite being on there highest package. We swapped to a proper agent and had over 30 viewings and sold within 6 weeks. They are going bust and are using new customers to save them and keep paying the senior execs wages!

Do not use purple bricks or Strike in Birmingham or Solihull. Difficult to get hold of the agent, not particularly helpful, Did not suggest strategies so did not feel like I was dealing with an experienced proper agent. Did not call back potential buyers. After sales, can't be bothered to return calls. Buyers pulled out of potential house sales 3 times because they found purple bricks and the conveying company was very poor. Waste of the best part of 2k. Worst estate agent I have used. They did not make enough effort to sell my house and after 10 months they now demand payment even though they advertised their services as “no sale, no payment”. Although the buyers pulled out of their house sale, they are claiming that the house did sell and the “no sale, no payment” offer no longer applies. The app has lots of glitches so it is difficult to arrange viewings properly. People who view do not use the app either so it is challenging to rearrange times. Better to have a proper estate agent or someone who is at least competent and knows what they are doing. Do not use purple bricks or Strike in Birmingham or Solihull

My wife and I recently booked of an evaluation with purple bricks, they sent an email confirmation indicating who would come, and at what time. And what did we get, a quote via email a couple of days prior to the appointment date, we waited in, assuming we would still meet the person they said we would meet, to our disappointment, she did not turn up, what a waste of our time and effort

Keep the hell away from Purplebricks if they don't sell yr property u do end up paying. A very large bill & if u say pay for what not selling my property. U get hounded by debt collectors, as I found out, & I am having 2 pay £2,232.00 for asking Purplebricks 2 self my property. So pleased be warned. They don't tell u that.

I had a vacant possession flat to sell and appointed Purplebricks as agents. As part of their "deal" P/B demanded that I must use Premier Property Lawyers of Leicester as my conveyancer and assured me that they were capable and competent. Their demand that PPL be used is no doubt based on the fact that they pay agents almost twice the normal commission for introductions. After I had partly resolved a problem with P/B of them not providing sufficient and/or convenient times for viewings, after a lacklustre representation they finally obtained a genuine offer, having taken months rather than the days we all initially expected. Some eight months after instructing PPL to begin the conveyance I still own the flat and both P/B and PPL respond to my requests for urgency by directing me towards their useless and prevaricating complaints procedures. I doubt that either P/B or PPL could spell "unethical" let alone know the true meaning. Avoid both self interested and useless firms if you ever seek competent representation and timely completion of your sale and if there is any justice in the world P/B, currently teetering on the edge of liquidation, will shortly be followed by the equally useless Premier Property Lawyers of Leicester. BEWARE AND AVOID YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Lack of communication Agent attentive until you sign on the dotted line then don’t return calls. Didn’t advise us prospective buyer hadn’t put their house on the market. Would definitely not recommend this company.

Horrible. They are not able to manage, continue charging fees, i cant get of the not paying tenant already second year. Their solicitors are also useless.

I do not live in Liverpool and I have attended the viewing but the person who was supposed to show me the property never showed up, I called the customer services who has given me her phone number and she did not take my calls, now they keep on sending me automatic emails to ask me why I did not attend the viewing when they should send it to the person who was supposed to conduct the viewing and never showed up

Stay well away from this company. They took my flat offline and then I was told I took it off myself. After proving I didn’t through an online phone bill they still didn’t accept the blame. Honestly the worst company I’ve been with. Stay clear. TRUST ME

Basically they will over price your house to get the business and then that is the last you hear from them. We have left messages for Louise who doesn't return calls and not one viewing in 3 months. When we challenged we were told all negatives about the house that were never mentioned when they wanted the business ! awful service, appalling business and a rip off. The sooner it's gone the better.
