Just found out Quidco have somehow automatically made me a "premium" account so have been deducting money from me> I don't want this, don't buy enough to warrant it - and they won't let me downgrade untilOctober 2021!!! Also, there is nowhere on their site where I can contact anyone to complain or have this reversed. Hopeless!

Hey Ronald, I'm sorry to hear this, we do have the premium membership which allows you to upgrade and downgrade at any given time, we can downgrade you if you wish and have a further look into this for you. We do also have a variation of ways of how you can contact us, this can be on the app or desktop in the bottom right corner where there is a blue icon, and that we'll get back to you within 24 hours. Trying to login since last couple of days but getting messages that my account is blocked, Link is not working, they just blocked my account soon my cashback paid by retailers (after 14 months) . Logged in successfully 7-10 days ago, emailed them but No reply yet no notification received why they blocked my account. Not trust worthy cashback site such a TopCashback.

I bought many items via their app, like Ebay, House of Frasher etc. since November last year, I got amount over £50 but no at least of £1 could be rebate to my account. I chated with the C.S. , it took an half hour to have their response for one question because of not the live chat. They excused the shop did not pay them and no reply to me for how long should be took and how to follow up by them. I was very very disappointed with this cashback app. Don't trust their website.

Big cash back declined this year on three legal car insurance policies. No valid reason and put blame on insurance companies that they declined. If cash back is tracked automatically and policy still going on why it has been declined and can not be proceed further. What is the point to use this site and get insurance from confused.com and gocompare.com. Waste of time and false hope

Need to work with retailers to improve tracking speed. Terrible waiting months just to find out if it worked!

Hey Paul, Thanks for the review today 💙 Each retailer have their own payment speed and tracking speed, and we see that half the retailers we have onsite track within 1 hour! If they don't, then we advise that a 'Missing Cashback Claim' is made after 72 hours of the purchase date to ensure you don't miss out 👍 -Summer (socialsupport@quidco.com)

Its been more the 13 months since i purchase aviva life insurance, i was told cashback will be processed in six months, then 13 months, one of them told me will be paid 9th of January and once I remind them she made excuses. Customer support is not trustworthy.

Hey Lovera, I can see that we have spoken about this and that this was an estimated date as per your screenshot you had sent, and that this cashback is slightly delayed as this retailer takes 13 months to process the cashback from the date it was purchased. As the estimated date of this being resolved was the 9th of January, this being the 13 months, we have only just elapsed the 13 months of this. This is only a recent delay in the cashback you have with Aviva and is still processing as normal from what we can see. We do understand that this is only just delayed and that we are chasing the retailer on this, but until we have any new updates on this, we will be sure to let you know 💙 -Summer (socialsupport@quidco.com)

Over the last few years I have been happy with quidco but it seems that some retailers and insurance companies seem to be dangling the carrot to get you to purchase there products by advertising cashback via Quidco then after 6 months or more they decline the payments my last insurance company that declined my payment was confused insurance of £35 and I am still waiting from direct line pet insurance to pay but probably once again no back up by the Quidco team.

After many years, I will be closing my account. I have used quidco successfully in the past but in the most recent year or so, it's gone so downhill that I opened an account with topcashback (which isn't great either, I should add). I have a premium John Lewis home and contents insurance, going out monthly, but for some bizarre reason, I've been told that my claim is invalid. This is beyond ridiculous. I have a direct debit to prove it!! Won't be using them anymore.

Hi 👋 So sorry to hear about your experience here 🙈 Disappointment is the last thing we want for our members! We will always try and aim to receive a positive outcome to cashback, however we are aware declines do occur and as cashback is given to us by the retailer we do need to go with the decline reason they provide after a claim has been fully processed. With this being said I can completely understand where you're coming from here so I've gone ahead and added £10 to your account as a gesture of goodwill which will show in your balance before the end of the day. My cashback never even claims. LV the other month for car insurance and now Quidco compare for house which don’t accept to put in a missing claim and you can’t even speak to anyone . Awful company, thinking of going to too cashback

In order for us to do so, please send us over a message from your registered email address to socialsupport@quidco.com and we'll have this sorted for you ASAP. In regards to your Quidco Compare Home Insurance purchase, this does take around 6 - 8 weeks from the moment you took out your policy for this to be appear as tracking on your account. Joined Quidco and had nothing but problems getting the posted cash back. They never pay on time and when you raise a claim your simply told, “we are working very hard to obtain this from the supplier” sadly some of my cash back so the lazy staff can’t be working that hard !! Avoid use top cash back instead this is a joke of a company and are probably stealing your cash back !

Hey, Claims do take 6 months to process from the date the claims are made. These are an almost entirely manual process that are dealt with on a first come first served basis. These are processed by us, the 3rd party network who manage tracking and then finally the retailer. That combined with the sheer volume of claims raised daily does mean this takes around 6 months to complete. Signed up with Now TV wifi with Quidco told that I’ll get my cash back in September but never happened still waiting very disappointed :( feel like I should have gone with top cash back instead 😡

Still awaiting confirmation of purchases going back to July. It’s December. Was told 90 day is usual wait time, maybe there watch slow . Or it’s the pandemic or could it be brexit , Maybe repotting it on here may help as emailing doesn’t I get fobbed of hmmm the watch isn’t slow it’s a fob watch .

As soon as EDF confirmed £200+ correct cashback they blocked my account and could not find my account after 9 years of membership. Useless customer service. Worst I've ever seen.

I've had several cashbacks from Quidco over a few years and always been more than happy and had no probs until I purchased car insurance from LV after following all the purchase instructions as described my cashback has been declined ,ive been conned into a purchase on the promise of cashback and fobbed off with some bs about not following the instructions seems like a convenient way to get out of paying ,not good Quidco or LV insurance

I was enticed to get my car insurance with a £55 cash back. Followed the rules on the site, clicked the link, waited six months only to have the cashback declined. Was then offered 10% in compensation. Not good. If I had read the reviews here I would have searched for a cheaper car insurance and given Quidco a miss!

I'm sorry to hear this Tony! As the retailer have declined this, we are no longer able to challenge this as it was in the hands of the retailer and they are the ones who come to the conclusion. As we are no longer able to challenge this decision, we were able to offer you 10% from our own funds so that you don't leave empty handed. I am so appalled with Quidco right now. I've had my account with them for many years, earning over £2k in cashback (and even more for them as a result!) and went to log in last week to find I couldn't and my account had been "blocked". Communications with their staff informed me that my account had been removed owing to what they described as "false referrals". I replied saying that I haven't made any referrals for quite a while and could they explain more but they simply replied again saying false referrals were made. I have still been receiving email from them advising me that my cashback has become payable yet they tell me that I no longer have my account with them. I think potentially my account was hacked and I'm now fearing for the security of the site. I can't check this or the account activity because they have removed my account and hence kept my cashback too. I'd warn anyone of this and not to open an account if you do have one remove any sensitive data they hold on you and withdraw any payable cashback you do right away. Dreadful!

evertime my cash back gets tracked and added its not they over £8 I should have had added to my balance but it doesnt go on were does it go its not on my balance 🙃

Do not use this company , they will say it takes at least six months to get your money or say the company has just declined payment. I have contacted SSE directly and Argus who tell me they never had any such agreement with them due to products I purchased.  I have contacted BBC watchdog who have taken details from me (I feel I may not be the only complaint they have received about Quidco).  we may see CEO on rogues gallery soon
