“Realy bad service for trades. If you are looking for customers, do not use Rated People. We have paid hundreds for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Be warned: Once your test period ends there is no chance of you canceling their "service"! If you are not happy with them, they will eventually give you some credit to use on leads but t99% of their leads are not real. The only way to get rid of Rated People is to pay IN FULL the outstanding amount of your contract and walk awat empty handed. Stay away!”

“I have had a very bad experirnce with one of the tradesmen from Tated People. The Company I contracted to fit my brand new kitchen was a total disaster: I sent an amail by without any help fro Rated People. The tradesman blocked my calls, took my money without any paper work given to me. I got very ill over it. I was advised to take a ligal action against the Company. Total nightmare”

“Absolute joke of a company, if your a tradesmen do not waste your time as you will be giving them money for nothing. You buy leads to get jobs and the people posting there jobs dont even reply to you, so you end up losing your money due to these time wasters. Dont bother trying to get a refund because you wont as the customer service is beyond poor. Without tradesmen they have no business, sadly they dont act like this is the case.”

“Scam artists! Avoid! If you're trade person please stay away from them. They will promise you alot to sign a contract with you but hardly give you a quarter from promising. You can't brake the contract and have to pay remaining months. And now the best part, they selling you a FAKE leads and act with you like a robot's. So save your money and stay away from fraud company!”

“Very disappointed with their company. I can be live how they treat tradesmen. People who work on they success. They are the biggest scam I ever meet . STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE TRADESMEN. They jobs leads not genuine and you can't get money back . They only care about their money . Costumer service useless.”

“You can find good trade people . But this is it . The company it's a big mistake . The worst company to work with. They are stilling money from tradesmen. The leads are not genuine. You cant even get the money back . Costumer service useless. Can't help with nothing .They care only about them self and money they take from tradesmen . Really disappointed. I spoke with many trade people and everyone say it's a scam . So if you trade person STAY AWAY. Don't give them opportunity to con you.”

“If you are a trade-person do not use RATED PEOPLE! it's a scam. once you sign the agreement with them, you have to pay for 1 year plan!!! you can't cancel the agreement! be very careful!”

“Do not use rated people they are just a money making scam both for customers and tradesmen.tradesmen are not even properly verified when I signed up they didn’t even ask for any qualifications or public liability insurance.all I had to do was pay there fee and I was suddenly a rated person”

“Thought I would give them a try. I prepped a room and it was ready for decoration Two men came - I would be supplying all materials When I asked they said they were time served Would have thought it would have said that on his business card Wizard decorating - doesnt sound like a professional service to me Phoned later with a price of £2200 Should be £500 - £600 I now will not use anyone from rated people as they have now spoilt it for Others Be warned !”

“Rated people are a disgraceful company who take advantage of tradesmen. Look at all the positive reviews, they are mainly reviewing the tradesmen not the service. I signed up as a tradesmen and after interrogating the salesperson he finally admitted that I could cancel within 14 days. He tried to avoid answering and instead he kept reiterating that it was a 12 month contract and the whole amount would be payable if I wished to leave. At this point I decided not to go through with the purchase as I was fed up with the sales person I had been speaking to. The next day I stupidly phoned again and spoke to another sales person, this time I asked if the credits I spent (you receive credits up to the monthly membership price) would be refunded if I canceled within 14 days, she said yes, not once but multiple times. I reiterated the point as I wanted to be certain that I could try the service and receive a full refund if it wasn't as expected (it certainly wasn't). Its now a month later and I'm chasing my money that Rated People have fraudulently stole, I've received one call back and the investigator has blatantly lied and said the sales person (beth) never said what I am claiming. Im actually quite sickened that a company this size will go this far out of their way to avoid refunding an honest customer, especially with the length of their deceit. An other lie I was told when singing up is that lead prices are 'solely' based on a jobs worth, within several minutes of using the service it was obvious this is not the case. Jobs that are worth 'Under £100) can be as high as £12-13, now when you think the job may actually only be worth £50 and rated people sell the lead to 3 tradesmen their is only ever one winner. I could go on about this company for hours but its not good for my blood pressure. In conclusion. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!”

“Websites such as Rated People are supposed to be raising the standard of how tradespeople interact & trade with consumers. Unfortunately out of 4 tradespeople that we have used via Rated People, only 1 has produced work to a decent standard. As a person who works in a trade, I have noticed that Rated People & other similar websites have successfully contributed to lowering the standard of tradespeople in the UK by providing a platform for unscrupulous and below-par people to advertise their below-standard services in exchange for paying for the privilege. Rated People and other similar websites need to urgently review who they allow to trade on their websites. Unsuspecting consumers, like myself, are placing trust in these websites that they will receive good service from vetted tradespeople. The reality is definitely not the case and Rated People need face up to their original brief to raise standards otherwise consumers are no better off by simply playing 'Russian roulette' with a copy of the Yellow Pages!”

“The company shows a despicable attitude towards genuine tradesmen. They demand insane levels of identity information from workmen and exclude genuine workmen from their database. I speak from direct experience of a workman I have used many many times. He has been treated shabbily by RATED PEOPLE as a business. I am NEVER going to use a tradesman aimed at me by this company from here on. I will NEVER use their services and will definitely warn my many hundreds of clients about their practices by email and social media.”

“This site is ripping genuine tradesman off daily, they cancel your membership without any notice or explanation and do not give refunds. they are arrogant when calling them for answers, they back the customer whom places adverts for free yet charge way over the odds for tradesman and alot of the leads are fake false no one answers your calls messages emails texts nothing”

“I don't believe Rated People carry out checks on their tradesman. I had a bad experience with one of their tradesmen. I sent in my complaint together with photographic evidence, text messages, etc as requested by them. Needless to say they did nothing about my complaint as the other 3 reviews were not complaints. Why didn't they tell me that in the first place and save me all that time and trouble. I lost my money but they don't seem to care. Just another rogue trader getting away with bad workmanship”

“This company are run by crooks, lure you in with false promises of job leads, impossible budgets set by the public, fake jobs, then when you finish your 12 month membership and you try and cancel they tell you that you've automatically gone straight into another 12 month membership so you cant leave unless its on their terms! avoid and use other means of bringing work in for yourself! these are scandalous!”
