Their web page won't allow me to file a claim and all the phone numbers are automated and will not connect to a real support person.

Please be informed that a customer has to sign-in to his or her account in order access to the policy and file the online claim. I bought an insurance for a mobile home I rented and had an accident. Now I am trying to make a claim to Rentalcover but for some strange reason I cannot log in. The web site says that my email is invalid. That email address is the same as on the invoice from the company and insurance certificate, which were by the way both sent to that particular email address. Since the login is not working I have almost no way of contacting the company. No customer support(without logging in). There is a considerable amount at stake and I demand a reply.

I faced situation when the rental car company charged me for minor damage 650 euro. I applied in rentalcover.com for insurance payment. I was really surprised when in two working days i got confirmation that my claim was approved and the next day all payment was on my bank account. Good job. THANKS A LOT!!!

I am so devastated by what happened when I booked my rental car online for a week in my hometown of Auckland .. when I completed the booking for a really cheap deal on a car, a window popped up about insurance and I purchased it thinking it was in addition to my deal with the rental company. When I completed the transaction another window popped up explaining it wasn’t part of the car rental company, but was RentalCover.com .. I contacted them by email immediately and requested an immediate refund and they declined me! They said I could have a credit. When I picked up my rental car today I had to buy another insurance policy with the company so as not to incur the $2,500 excess if I had an accident or incurred damage. In case of any incident I would have to pay the excess to the rental car company and then try to claim it from RentalCover.com, but I’m a beneficiary and have no money. I use a credit card but only ever have a few hundred dollars credit available so I can’t take that risk. I am so upset because I can’t afford two insurance policies and I think it’s dreadful of RentalCover.com not to refund me and to use trickery on the website in the first place! They should clearly state who they are but they don’t. I think they are dishonest doing this and they ruined what could have been a good experience. I’m back in Auckland to look after my 2 nieces who both have Downs Syndrome so now I have less credit available to use for them. Sad but I will still make sure my nieces are happy this week.

It is a perfect idea in order to have full insurance I have an incident last rental car and I paid to rental car the damage. Two days later the pay I have all the documentation to start the claim in rental cover. In few days less than five i received transfer in the bank for all the amount. PERFECT AND EASY!!!

I had a small mishap with the rental car and Rental Cover credited me for the amount the rental company debited from my creditcard. I was reimbursed within a few days.

My first time with RentalCover, which was for a car rental in Tasmania. I had a very small accident and had to pay the full excess with the car rental company as they needed to claim from a third party car rental company. I submitted a claim with RentalCover immediately and they were following up diligently, reminding me of what's missing from me (final invoice upon settlement with the third party). The car rental company took more than a month to finalise the amount I needed to pay, and when I submitted the final invoice to RentalCover, my claim was approved very quickly. There is no phone support so all communication is done via email. It made me nervous initially as I hadn't been through the claims process. Having had this positive experience now I will definitely go with them again in future.

Submitted claim two weeks ago. Made several phone calls. no one pick up phone. left several messages, so far nothing. Unable to do any updates on a claim so far. Help!!!

Please stay away as its not replacement for full insurance that you would normally get from rental companies. If you have damage, you will spend weeks sending documents and providing proof for your claim. If you are lucky to get any claim paid out, it will take weeks.

I had a very Minor fender bender in Japan (broken/scraped mirror) for those of you who have driven in Japan you know how strict they can be. I did as required by law and filed a police report. Went to the police station and picked up a copy of my police report. When I contacted Rental cover.com they immediately gave me a claim number and told me to contact them when I got back into the states I filed all the paperwork as requested and within a day and a half I had claim approval in less than three days I have been Reimbursed electronically on my claim very impressed at the speediness and professionalism of this company I will be using them again thank you guys for a smooth and easy transaction.

The insurance was easy to apply for and much cheaper than the car rental company's insurance. Instructions for the claiming process was clear and the upload of the required documents straight forward. The claim was settled immediately and reflected in my bank account within one day. Thank you for taking the pain out of this unpleasant experience.

I bought the insurance cover($110) when I booked a car from Rental cover. I came to know the insurance of supplier($43) was far cheaper than what rental cover has charged me. If I buy insurance from a supplier, I do not have to pay the excess($4200). However, after having an accident, I had to pay the excess as I did not buy insurance from a supplier and it was 4200 NZD. When I submitted a claim, it's been more than 2 weeks and the rental cover is saying they need to get the refund from the supplier, only then they can give me my money back. I am literally begging for my own money from them.

I had a minor accident while renting a car in Australia. Although the rental car company was not helpful in providing the necessary documents to allow my claim to be processed by RentalCover.com as a third party insurer, my claim was processed and paid in super-quick time with a minimum of fuss and aggravation. Kudos to Melissa and Matilda and the team at RentalCover.com. Jerry

Great product. Fast returns and refunde and service professional. I had a small car accident in France, February 2020. I’d send the requireds information and documents and asap I was assisted. I recommend you.
