“This car insurance not accepted in Haultulco Mexico. Just a big scam.”

“They are a true scam. I bought full coverage with them for a rental car in Portugal, as a consequence I did not pay for zero deductible at the car rental company desk. Unfortunately I had an accident with the vehicle, which led me to pay the full deductible of €1500. I Immediately contacted RentalCover for reimbursement of this value. After they asked for all the documents about the rental and the accident including the receipt of the deductible I paid, they then said they could not reimburse me without seeing the invoice for the repairs done to the vehicle! Of course I didn't have that invoice! this is internal business of the rental car company. In summary, if you buy insurance from rentalcover, you are throwing your money away. To me they are frauding customers.”

“I am 30 days past my claim, already paid to the car agency for the car damage and sent invoice, bank transfer and all the documents i had to RentalCover. RentalCover keep asking for additional documents and will not discuss directly with the car rental agency. I am stuck between two companies and i doubt i will ever see the car repair charge refunded by RentalCover. Bottom line - i recommend to pay the additional 50$ for the car rental agency and do the insurance there. The money saving via RentalCover doesn't worth the cost in health.”

“they are a scam ! Try canceling for the refund they promise. Their site won't even take the reference # I was issued. Nor will they email you with instructions to overide the reference # as they say they will. Their phone line is always busy so don't even try calling them. I just lost$109 to them. I hope they rot in Hell !”

“I hired a car with Budget and they claimed Euro 100. back several weeks after the car was returned. I had taken full cover from Rental. Rental paid the Euro 100 back immediately after I put in the claim. 5 Star service.”

“Did not rent the car because car rental agency was seriously understaffed and not able to timely process car rentals. But could not get a refund from Rentalcover. I do NOT recommend using this company.”

“Good evening I hired a vehicle in December 2019 in Port Elizabeth, on my way back to returning vehicle windscreen was damaged by a stone. Rental Cover fortunately covered the entire cost. I would recommend to take RentalCover.Com. Stress free.”

“I had original rental car insurance through Sure.com got $29.95 for 2 days. Wanted to extend the rental. Contacted Sure and somehow redirected me to rental cover com. I filled out my info including card number but never clicked submit. Now I have 2 charges for $24 and no way to contact these smucks. Total rip off.”

“I had an accident in New Zealand, while refuelling, they had a type of petrol which I didn't know existed in the world (called Go Clear), in my driving experience, I only knew unleaded and diesel. Unaware of what was Go Clear (thinking it was unleaded, since there was no signs), I put 1dollar worth, because the gun was slow, so changed to another one unleaded. then the car started playing up, called the rental company to notify immediately, rental car got replaced on the same night. Still unaware of what happened until I got the bill of more than 4000 dollars, then the report says I was refuelling with wrong petrol, which I did not even know existed in the world. Started googling and it seemed that others had same kind of accident, even the local insurance changed their policies to cover these accidental damages. The end was that I was hit with a hefty bill for this accident that Rentalcover said they were not covering because I breach the agreement with rental company for negligence, which I contest from the bottom of heart, I had always been good with rental cars around the world and had a excellent record with zero accidents, except this one. Very disappointed. Also I sent 2 emails pleading for reconsideration but no replies. It is also impossible to get some other contact forms other then the email that I got... Not what I expected when opting for Full Cover and paid for not being covered.”

“Polecam. Wypożyczony samochód został zarysowany przez nieznanego sprawcę. Musiałem opłacić udział własny w kwocie 1800 zł w wypożyczalni, lecz cała kwota została mi zwrócona w ciągu 4 dni po zgłoszeniu szkody. Polecam!”
