Ordered a gross of 144 Fender picks, because the ad said free 2-day shipping. The picks didn't ship for an extra day and were sent by ground (5-6 days). I contacted Reverb to alert them to the false advertising and they were, of course no help. After my item arrives I am done with Reverb (this is one and the last of many customer service issues with Reverb). I'll take my business elsewhere.

I've been scammed on Reverb.com twice now. I've been selling on there for 5 years and now it's just gone down hill. First time I got scammed was for a Minimoog at £5450 and just little over a year I get scammed again for a Gibson Firebird guitar at 3k. The support is nothing more than zero. I've been on their automated chat via the site 7 times and wrote 3 emails regarding the current scam I've found myself in. AVOID!!!

I’d give them 0 stars if I could. I’m a reseller and have repeatedly sent in tax exempt info but they can’t seem to process it properly

The fees are very high and if the buyer decides to return the item it will cost the seller even more. Sell to a local guitar shop for less money. You'd probably break even in the end.

Additional shipping charges months after item sold. No communication regarding the charge. Paid the charge and requested my account be closed. Customer concern is totally absent. This bunch needs to be investigated be consumer affairs.

My issue is a little different....starting several months ago, my laptop would begin freezing as I go into the Reverb website-still does. As a result, I'm constantly closing my browser, trying to check a listing, often to no avail. Worst thing is, there is no phone #, the "Chat" bots totally useless, and I can't even find an address. Zero customer support- yes, zero stars if I could. Only hope you have no issues in your transactions.

No customer support. Zero support. They screwed up the phone number on an order and wouldnt allow the seller to ship without one. But you cannot edit or alter the order and the money had already been collected. It should be a simple problem to correct but their automated help bot is useless and it is impossible to speak with a human operator. I wish I could give them zero stars.

23 hour after creating an acct to sell items i had i received a scam message through their platform which could have went bad had i not cause suspicion of it. Then when i did make a sale, i did not get my money. i still haven’t. The buyer has confirmed received of the item and thanked me for the careful packaging and still get no money. it’s ridiculous to wait this long and to this extent for my money. Not happy at all.

Don’t trust prices on Reverb and avoid items sold by Music Fan Yesterday I bought a used $2,000 Gibson J 45 standard guitar that was advertised on Reverb; sold by Music Fan. The expense posted to my credit card. I received a confirmation of sale and I thought I was all set. Today, I received an email saying : sorry the ad was inaccurate, the guitar wasn’t described correctly (they advertised a better model than they actually had on hand) so we are cancelling the sale and are refunding your money. Here is the problem: the seller (Music Fan) decided after selling me the guitar that they had underpriced it. So they abruptly cancelled the sale. As of now, Reverb has not taken steps on my behalf to rectify this situation. Thus the following cautionary tale. Buyers should not trust the prices shown on Reverb for any of the items they market. Buyers should not expect sellers, such as Music Fan, to honor their sales commitments, and buyers should not expect Reverb to hold unethical sellers responsible. In short: do not do business with Reverb and Music Fan. You can easily be defrauded. P.S. I replied to the seller immediately saying I would happily accept the lesser model (Gibson J 45 studio instead of the promised Gibson J 45 standard - which is the more expensive guitar). But the seller insisted on cancelling the entire order. Didn’t ask if i would be ok with the studio model. Just more evidence that the seller was looking for an out. An absolutely shameful way of treating a paying customer who thought they were buying what was actually advertised.

Reverb isolates the buyer from the seller and makes it difficult to contact a seller. I placed an order and got no response from the seller - Somehow Reverb did not link the order to my account so I could track it, but I was charged. Evidently the seller may never have received my order. It took me 2 hours of chat time to get this resolved and get a refund. Don't do business with this company. Contact a reputable music store who will make sure your order is handled properly. All reverb cares is to get their cut from the sale. Buyers beware of this company.

I am more than disappointed. i am angry. i feel violated. Buyer beware: do not trust/ do business with either of these two entities. Music Fan and Reverb — both cannot be trusted.

Reverb.com are low lifes. I spent thousands of dollars and after purchasing a dbx 166 from kellen boersma missing one rack ear and the unit bit the dust they indefinitely suspended my account. All my purchases gone, my profile picture still up. No option to completely deactivate my picture.

Reverb has absolutely NO customer support for sellers. They have my money, but are refusing to send it to my bank until I send a copy of my passport. I refused, as I am targeted by fraudsters daily, and I don't want them selling my information. I will not use them again! They are raking in the dash from you and providing No customer support, apart from a robot chat. Crazy and frustrating!

I'm not surprised to see all the bad press here about reverb.com. Customer service is the worst ever. You might eventually get a response from a real human being or be able to talk to someone via chat but you'll have to jump through hoops before that happens. Reverb's payout system absolutely sucks! I've had a little success with sales and thankfully I never purchased anything from them so all is well there but overall reverb and their policies suck!!

Terrible sellers who either don't send items or are indifferent to the postal service losing items, and do not issue refunds. Stick to eBay.

Absolutely NO help from Reverb on their BS chat line. If you are looking to purchase something AVOID this site….. anywhere else would be better. Seller never shipped….just ghosted me and ran off with my money and Reverb is not stepping in to help.

I bought a synth from Flatbush Junction Gear Emporium on Reverb. They are both irresponsible and unprofessional.I have not recieved the item. The seller Jared @ FJGE never bothered to tell me he put the wrong address on it. Then I found out it was being sent to Portland Oregon. I live 40 minutes away from them in New York. I am trying to get a refund now but Reverb tells me I cannot get a refund until the seller gets the synth that he sent to the WRONG address across the country TWICE. It’s been weeks since I ordered and I don’t have item or refund yet.
