Their customer support has not responded to my five messages over the last month. My account was accessed by someone else, who listed couple of very expensive items and now reverb keeps sending me emails that I have to pay some cancelation fee, even despite reporting that issue FIVE times! Useless. :/

I am a 5 Star member at Reverb.com. I posted a guitar for sale. A so-called buyer, Christopher Lang, made me an offer. I accepted. He had 3 days to pay. On the 3rd day I messaged him, asking if something was wrong. He ghosted me. No reply and no payment by day 4. There is no real help here either. If you get screwed you are on your own. Stay away. I'm not going there anymore. eBay is cheaper and better for guitar sales.

This company is crooked and will gouge you at the last minute after the sale is finalized. BUYERS AND SELLER BEWARE. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

I have been selling on this site for over 10 years and have a 5 star rating but they could care less! Have been locked out of my account for over 5 days due to something as easy as a password reset and can't even get my tax form which is delaying my filing. No one to speak with anymore and chat representatives keep assuring me that someone from the "resolutions team" will reachout but no one has. Worst customer next to UPS & FEDEX!

Reverb used to have good customer service, but no more. They disconnected their phone support. They don't offer email support. The only way to communicate is through chat and you have to fight your way past the annoying chat bot to get to anyone. Once you finally reach someone, they usually say that someone will get back in 1-2 business days, but don't hold your breath. If you are lucky to receive an email response you can't reply to it and they are dismissive of your concerns. They have quirky policies that suit them but are NOT customer friendly.

Have used reverb as a buyer with out a problem for a couple of years. But selling proved to be a pain. Things went wrong, which they sometimes, do but Reverb continually failed to put things right and instead tried to get me to run around for them. There’s no phone number. There bot is awful and when using a human on there chat service they’d constantly ask me to navigate away from the screen (for a tracking number or sim) and then disconnect saying it appears I’m nor there. There payment system is a mess and should give an option to use PayPal I’ve spent more time trying to get paid from reverb then it would have taken for me to earn it! EBay or gumtree are much easier to use.

Double charged while attempting a pay in 4 to have it say item unavailable for purchase but only after deducting the funds.

I use to use Reverb to sell, never again, FEES are ridiculous, greedy now. I hope millions see my review and fire them. You can’t sell your gear without getting soaked. Also if your on east coast, I always got a west coast buyer, huge shipping fees… I’m done here

Paid for a Yamaha amp was overcharge on my card then charged shipping twice then when deliver came they want over 400 for tariff fee so a used 350.00 amp they wanted 0ver 800.00 for so I told UPS who wanted 450.00 for tariff cash or check on delivery I told them to send it back. I was not notified of any extra cost they sent it back. Now the seller and reverb want me to pay 450.00 for nothing for a used amp that is worth 150.00 I said no they suspended my account I do thousands of dollars of business with reverb I’m just a buyer what fools they are. I’m lawyering up I’m so upset.

I sold 2 items and they've had that money for about a week now. They tell me that they have to go through some process to 'approve' me in order to release the funds. I have perfect reviews on the site from others I've worked with. Chat is basically AI and those that don't give a F*#@. Well, see ya Reverb. Maybe you should care a little more about your terrible ratings before other mediums take over your gig. So many avenues to do things, trust me you don't have the market cornered. No more business from me that's for sure. And if anyone reads this, PLEASE stay away.

Purchased an amp through V verb with a buyer. The buyer had pictures of the amp that looked really good but when the amp arrived at my home, the amp was damaged contacted the seller. He said he had purchased shipping insurance and that I need to contact support I contacted support and giving me the option to get it repaired at their expense or $75 off the purchase correct me if I’m wrong if the amp was insured, why am I getting the runaround on getting a refund from the the seller and reverb when it was an insured product and reverb also ensures all transactions which they do not. I had to result for a credit card dispute so that’s in progress. As of now this company has some really bad reviews from what I’m seeing, I will no longer be doing business with this place

Terrible the worst! Checkout never worked on a purchase. Big waste of time. The seller Chicago Music, lights are on but nobody's home. They don't answer the phone. Not sure if it's a scam. Not a great experience!

These guys totally did me dirty! They advertise all over the place that they don't charge ANY fees outside of the 5% selling fee. My brand new guitar was not selling despite me doing everything they told me too. So I lowered the price significantly and it sold. I was expected a fairly small payout , but when I saw how much I couldn't believe it. The buyer paid $330.00 $57 of which was to have it shipped and $25 was tax. It's been over week and I still haven't gotten paid but the amount coming to me is $180! They also charged me $57 for shipping and $25 tax and them another $60 in random charges. Total false advertising they make it impossible to get assistance. Run fast from this place!

I think they are terrible. Their customer service is the worst. You ask a question and they give you generic answers and if you keep asking them to explain because you're new to the site they disconnect the chat and THEN if you say you really need help and your confused they black ball you somehow and you never get CS again. Really, this is how they are training the CS people to handle confused people???
