If I could give a 0 star review I would. I will never use reverb to sell anything again. I sold speakers for $160 and made $98 out of that because I accepted an offer instead of my whole asking price so I was charged more for shipping than what I plugged in when I posted them. From now on I will be using ebay or other platforms to sell my things. Never again.

I’ve spent well over $17,000 on Reverb across dozens of purchases, so this isn’t coming from a one-time buyer. Last fall a seller shipped me the wrong audio interface, and it arrived broken. Because of my work schedule I wasn’t able to get to a return drop-off during business hours within the window, and that was the end of it — I was out the full cost of the interface with no recourse. What bothered me most is that Reverb wouldn’t even let me leave a review for that seller, so other buyers can and likely will continue to be ripped off without a voice while scammers get away scot-free. Customer service was unhelpful throughout and the issue was never made right. Between that and the steep seller fees, I won’t be using the platform again. My concern is less about my own loss and more about the next person — if this can happen on a mid-priced interface with no protection and no ability to warn others, I’d be very cautious before spending real money here.

Nothing but fraud and theft! I bought an SPX 90 out of Japan. I should've known better. $245 down the drain. Then I bought 2 Symetix Comps and neither worked and the seller flat out refused to take a return and refund. The last one was another Symetrix Comp. It also didn't work, but the gal who sold it to me refunded immediately... sweetheart she was with an honest soul. These scam artists ruin for legitimate sellers like her. Altogether it was about a 500 dollar loss. Reverb's buyer protection is a big joke! I recovered not one dime except for the one seller who has integrity. F*** Reverb!!! Never again!

Reverb will not honor it's return or cancellation policies. I cancelled an order before it arrived due to package shipped to wrong address by vendor. Vendor was Sam Ash direct (total scammers since bought by Mexican retail company), yet still "highly rated" on Reverb even with thousands of complaints and disputes. I alerted on day 1 of my purchase. Reverb and their chat bot kept blowing me off in the following days saying it would contact me "soon" (never) with a resolution. My resolution was to cancel the order, well within Reverb policy. You get no better from their 'live" agents who are stupid teens who know nothing and care nothing about their own policies or customer service. You may buy an item for thousands and they treat you like you bought a hamburger. These gen Z ers do nothing to help you only parrot the company blow off lines. I feel an obligation to fellow musicians to be aware that Reverb is a very low quality, borderline scam online vendor and that you will do better at places like Sweetwater (no questions asked cancellations/return and real live agent is assigned to your purchase! ) I will never buy or sell on Reverb again.

They went above and beyond my expectations. After facing nothing but frustration with other teams, they stood out immediately. Their communication is so poor it makes UPS seem almost useful when they have a live agent tell you how sorry they are for your experience. But "rest assured", your product is on the way any day now!

The last two products I bought from them were not working in the most recent one it was useless. I couldn’t believe it guys anyway I would deal with them anymore. I have some money credit there. I’ll spend it, but I didn’t even want to refund on my most recent item that’s how aggravated I was with these people. I think it’s the worst company in the world and if it’s not the company, it’s the people they allowed to use it.

Reverb STOLE my Fender Stratocaster guitar…sounds crazy, right? I sold my guitar on their platform and used the shipping label they provided that clearly showed me as the sender and the buyer as the recipient…however, Reverb re-directed my guitar to their warehouse. They STOLE my guitar. The buyer paid Reverb for my guitar. So Reverb received payment and the guitar…genius business model if you’re unethical and extremely dishonest. They do not publish any phone numbers…before you use their platform try to find one…YOU WON’T. They hide behind a chat bot. They are ghosts. I’m out a really nice guitar…they will not communicate with me. BUYER & SELLER BEWARE.

Their customer support has not responded to my five messages over the last month. My account was accessed by someone else, who listed couple of very expensive items and now reverb keeps sending me emails that I have to pay some cancelation fee, even despite reporting that issue FIVE times! Useless. :/

I am a 5 Star member at Reverb.com. I posted a guitar for sale. A so-called buyer, Christopher Lang, made me an offer. I accepted. He had 3 days to pay. On the 3rd day I messaged him, asking if something was wrong. He ghosted me. No reply and no payment by day 4. There is no real help here either. If you get screwed you are on your own. Stay away. I'm not going there anymore. eBay is cheaper and better for guitar sales.

This company is crooked and will gouge you at the last minute after the sale is finalized. BUYERS AND SELLER BEWARE. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

I have been selling on this site for over 10 years and have a 5 star rating but they could care less! Have been locked out of my account for over 5 days due to something as easy as a password reset and can't even get my tax form which is delaying my filing. No one to speak with anymore and chat representatives keep assuring me that someone from the "resolutions team" will reachout but no one has. Worst customer next to UPS & FEDEX!

Reverb used to have good customer service, but no more. They disconnected their phone support. They don't offer email support. The only way to communicate is through chat and you have to fight your way past the annoying chat bot to get to anyone. Once you finally reach someone, they usually say that someone will get back in 1-2 business days, but don't hold your breath. If you are lucky to receive an email response you can't reply to it and they are dismissive of your concerns. They have quirky policies that suit them but are NOT customer friendly.

Have used reverb as a buyer with out a problem for a couple of years. But selling proved to be a pain. Things went wrong, which they sometimes, do but Reverb continually failed to put things right and instead tried to get me to run around for them. There’s no phone number. There bot is awful and when using a human on there chat service they’d constantly ask me to navigate away from the screen (for a tracking number or sim) and then disconnect saying it appears I’m nor there. There payment system is a mess and should give an option to use PayPal I’ve spent more time trying to get paid from reverb then it would have taken for me to earn it! EBay or gumtree are much easier to use.

I use to use Reverb to sell, never again, FEES are ridiculous, greedy now. I hope millions see my review and fire them. You can’t sell your gear without getting soaked. Also if your on east coast, I always got a west coast buyer, huge shipping fees… I’m done here
