Sold my Fender Jazzmaster Custom through Reverb. Funds cleared and was given the clearance from Reverb to release the Guitar. Two days later they emailed to say that the transaction was being reversed and the monies refunded. I’m £2k out of pocket and Reverb refuse to engage. Now I have no sale and no guitar. Avoid at all costs.

One of the most frustrating online selling formats I have ever used. Took two weeks to get paid, 8 days to ship my item and customer service is clearly outsourced. Owned by Etsy, it shows. Simply won't ever use this service ever again and with all the other available options, not sure why anyone would, they take over 5% of your listing.

Terrible customer service. Marketplace integrity specialists can make sellers feel like a criminal if they have a couple of offsite sales, despite dozens of fulfilled orders otherwise on their platform and thousands of dollars paid in fees. Note this company deals with millions of dollars in sales per week, but cannot offer any phone support, and email support is anaemic and does not exercise any tact.

I have bought and sold on Reverb for many years, but they will not pay me for my last two sales due to their glitches. Phone support doesn't exist, the chat turns itself off for no reason, online agents take hours to get on the chat, if ever, and email support is very sporadic and unhelpful. The result is that six weeks later, I still don't have the thousands of dollars they owe me. I will never sell on Reverb again.

I’ve been having trouble in getting a refund. I wasn’t aware that I had to pickup locally. They are in Mississippi and I’m in CALIFORNIA. I asked for a refund. Their customer service is terrible. We time I enter the chat they hang up. I then have to explain myself all over again.

I made one purchase about five years ago and sold one thing a few months ago. I have money from that sale in my account and it will not transfer to my bank. Accounts are connected, confirmation emails of linking received I've tried to contact them two times. About 45 minutes in a chat box each time that abruptly ends with a thank you, I cannot help. Virtually no way to speak to a human. I would not trust them. Find somewhere else to sell.

They charged $62.13 for a shipping label. Yes $62.13 !!! Then I didn't use it because the shipping cost was too high through the company that they use. Now they won't offer a refund ,only statement credits which I won't use because I will never do business on their site again. I don't recommend using their shipping services. They also do not have customer service phone number, only support through texting and email....

Cancelling my reverb account Ive had for many years. Customer service is the worst Ive ever experienced. All they do is pass you off to a chat bot and no real person gives a damn about resolving any issues. Not worth it to give them any fees anymore. Bottom Line is this is a very poorly operated company!!

At the bar, I was skipped over by one bartender to order food. Then she went to all others to get drinks while the other bartender was lying on the bar. She then left my credit card in the machine and walked away. I went to the front desk to talk to the manager and the woman said there was no one available and I couldn't be helped. For how much I spent on the room you expect better customer service, but the staff does not value their customers!

I would say most of the guitars advertised by Reverb, either don't match the description, pictures vary in the actual color as well. The Ad might say "sunburst" then you open the ad, and it's blue AND more money. There is no way I would purchase from them. Mistakes happen, however I don't see this in guitar center, e bay, or any other music resale site. It's really fishy

Trying to get someone to call you to try to sort a sale out is impossible. It will only be through chat and email and will take forever. You're also charged unbelievable hidden fees, especially if you sell international. I can't use this site again.

Before the sale of my product, they asked me to update my debit card information. After the sale, they sent the product to the wrong institution. I asked support why they need my debit account information if they aren't going to send it to them. Support "May A." stated that they needed my debit card to bill me for my sale. Bill me for the sale that was already billed out of the sale itself?????? That makes no sense, why would I be billed for anything external when they take the money out of the sale itself?????? Instead they sent my money to a wrong account forcing me to wait up to TWENTY DAYS when I need this money YESTERDAY. I don't want to sell my gear, but I sure do like being able to pay my bills. Seriously NEVER again. NEVER even EBAY has you VERIFY

Hard ass company. Ordered cover for Fostek headphones. Sent metal headband. When rep called back (firm does not answer with humans, only takes callback #) he said forget it, proper item still backorder. Dumb me. Only thing that arrived was a $50+ charge, which I disputed and lost (thanks Jessica) as I misplaced the metal band. Found it and Jessica did not prove a RA. Really, really advise shopping elsewhere...preferably somewhere that answers, not screens, customers. Oh, bought splendid cover and pads elsewhere.
