I recently sold a custom shop Stratocaster on Reverb. Somehow the funds were sent to my old closed bank account. I have contacted them several times to resolve this error and it has been 3 weeks ongoing. No resolution yet. I will never use Reverb again, and I strongly recommend everyone else avoid doing business with them.

have sold 3 guitars and 2 amps on Reverb. When I went to purchase a guitar and it arrived, it was unplayable and thought it was going to blow my amp. I was able to return that guitar to the seller, and he apologized saying he didn’t have adequate staff to make sure all guitars were in working order, so whatever, I got my money back( it was a $2300 guitar btw). I then submitted an order for a microphone, and paid for it, that I needed for up upcoming gigs this weekend. The seller would not respond to messages that I sent this week, finally I just asked for a refund. Reverb offered little to no help with getting my money back. The seller has not shipped anything and still won’t respond to my refund request, I assume he is not going to answer reverbs inquiries either. So I am stuck with no mic for this weekend and can’t get my money to buy another one. Now they tell me they will get back with me in 3 to 4 days, so who knows when I will actually get my money back. I am absolutely done with Reverb. Bottom line, be very wary of who you buy from. Check to make sure they have a history of reviews. I really would not buy from the site, many are scams and Reverb doesn’t do much to set things right imo.

Needed to add Tax exemption to my purchase, its been 7 days already and nothing, lost the opportunity to buy the guitar because the seller didn’t want to wait for the incompetente reverb team to take 5 min to upload the tax exemption in the system, i do although have grounds to suit. So wait for me Reverb.

after spending nearly 5 years building my store, my domain gets hacked and I have to shut it off. I have a backup email to keep my store open. so I thought. Reverb customer support is worthless. now all the time I've spent building a store with 100% positive customer reviews, now I have to seek another storefront. thanks for nothing reverb.

I posted my ad like they said in compliance give them all my bank information, gave them my credit card information, give my emails phone number everything and all I can talk to is AI and never get an answer I got a dozen emails from Reverb saying you're getting there you're getting there you're close but I'm not in good standing I've done everything but giving them a pint of blood so I withdrew my ad from Reverb which took me quite a while to get it put together professionally and I'll never visit that site again I'm done, and I'm sorry that it had to go that way. Can't even make a purchase here! First time using this site and I make a $2K+ purchase. First says purchase didn't go through, but I received a message from my bank that did. Turns out it didn't go through so I purchase again and two days later receive an email that my purchase was cancelled and to contact support. I contact support and am told that my "concern is already escalated to our internal team. The email that you have received is from them. To avoid confusion for this order, I will relay to them that you have reached out... They will contact you within 24-48 hours regarding this." Sorry, not waiting another two days to find out how I might be able to successfully make a purchase here.

not safe and not protected to purchase from not safe to purchase from, you are not protected, not at all! i purchased a mirage subwoofer and it arrived not working, try to return it and they will do their best -------- to give you hard time! to discourage you from returning the defective item. lucky it was only $100 which i can afford to treat it as giving money to beggars. will never use them again and will not recommend them to anyone.

I bought a pedal which needed an adapter. The adapter came in and the pedal was completely dead. No refund because it was over 3 days. That's $584 down the drain. Reverb SUCKS!!!

Their company is a freaking joke. It's so hard to just make a simple purchase. They freeze accounts, they send confirm e-mails and only give four hours to reply or they cancel your order. Then they send codes with nowhere to type them. I'd love to get my hands on whomever is responsible for all of this. Bloody POS.

Poor customer service plus the guitar was not as described in the guitar was not tunable due to bad tuning machines; and it was said to be in good condition

Worst customer support ever. They let scammers sell broken items as new and when you contact them to solve the problem. They just answer that you only have 14 days protection. Now it's your responsibility to fix the item by yourself. And the worst part. I contacted PayPal and they threaten me to ban my account from reverb if I continued requesting buyer protection from PayPal. And they finally ban my IP and data from Reverb. Shameful.

I received confirmation of my order, so I didn't think another action would be needed on my behalf. Turned out I had to confirm my phone number bit didn't see that email they sent *after*. Got refunded... for less than what I paid. Order a 2nd time. Seller announces 56$ shipping fee. No problem. Until the carrier asked for 410$ duties fee on top of it. I send it back. Seller keeps the shipping fee AND 15% of the amount of the order. Don't ever do business with Reverb or its sellers.

I lost almost 400 dlls just because a buyer changed his mind about buying a guitar. Reverb never takes the hit seller does

After selling five guitars and buying two on Reverb I have to say that they are very disappointing as an organization. 1. Their fees are very high with cloaked costs like a 4.19% fee for processing a buyer’s credit card. When you add all the costs you might get shocked at how little remains of the sale price. 2. In my case they sat on my funds for well over two weeks, even after the guitar was delivered and my buyer confirmed receipt and gave me five stars. I believe they profit from these delays by using their client’s money to garner interest for themselves. 3. They seem to make up new policies to suit their desire to sit on “pending funds”, and these policies are not clear when one begins the process. I will never use reverb again and warn others against them

Poor management. Sent my products to the wrong location. I paid with PayPal which displayed my local address. Then said my address issue is my fault. I was told to be concerned about quality of product they send you. Don't order anything from them.

Happiness team ? Are unable to use a telephone it seems Purchased ARTIST 20 WATT TWEED Amp Looked great comparison sites sound very good Light weight valve amp.Tracking sent message Goods Shipped to arrive Shortly. As it was a Aussie amp I took note to mean Shipped After s few days informed amp left at cottage down the way from our bungalow .A Mr Jones took amp 1 there is no one at address well known to us 2 due to previous issue not really safe to collect 3 Could see the cardboards box left on bench under a veranda Tha did not fully protect It 4The amp had been dumped there for 4 days in sub zero ,and driving rain ,sleet weather 5 did manage to get amp back from This unauthorised delivery 6 Amp On clean channel Sounded like a blackn decker drill 7 damp was obvious the problemb 8 The happy team at reverb Said I must retrieve amp Normal procedure if no answer to leave goods 9 no signature signed by this fictitious Mr jones!!!!!! 10 Reverb happy team wanted pics of amp ,And settings of controls I used 11 Reverb informed no visable damage Have had over 45 years of owning,and playing valve amps. 12 my phone basic not able to send pics 13 To to return must have : 2 stickers sent by email.printed and attached to box 14 mmm unable to Print Duh 15 if no stickers their delivery team who were unable to recall to zMr Jones.would charge me £20 handling FEE!!!! 16 approx Over 15 emails Sent 16 Finally after outlining that The Happy Team said a replacement .or repaired amp not appropriate That consumer act Regulations not offered Parcell force not happy team collected Now awaiting rebate , if handling fee took out My bank more than willing to get back. These dimwits are placing "sellers" with almost zero sales above serving those of us with a hundred successful sales. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They are a rip off and have flat out LIED to me.

Never do business with this website...they had me transfer funds in order to protect the buyer. Resulted in a scam because there is no phone number to call and verify the communication. Their chat bot is ineffective. Doing business with Reverb proved to me that I was the sucker for trusting the site.

Reverb Buyer Protection does not exist. They make it seem like they have your back and will take care of you if things go wrong. COMPLETELY FALSE. The Buyer Protection is nothing more than Reverb bullying the third party until they comply and then,...maybe.
