“Pros: Ski boots fitting and Ski selection person are really professional. RIght size in first setting! Cons: No rocker room or cloak for shoes. No waxing on the Ski.”

We have a shoe storage options for the firs and last day of your rental and all of our rentals are waxed after each rental. We also offer a free swapping option so if you are not happy with your next set of skis, please come in and swap them our for free! Thanks again, Rhythm Japan

“The staff at Hakuba were friendly and keen to help. My one suggestion for improvement is to ensure that staff doing the binding set up for the skis have the same level of expertise as the best. I had two incidents on a ski swap hiring premium gear where the heel piece tolerance was to tight. In the shop the boot only just made it in. On the slopes in the cold the metal contracted. I had to ride a cable car down to get the bindings set to the appropriate fitting at another ski rental shop. I would however still recommend Rhythm to any Aussie or Kiwi in need if rental gear”

“A lot of the equipment was substandard, i.e. torn velcro tabs, worn out helmet lining, torn helmet handle loops. A jacket initially given to me has the cuff completely torn and unusable. Help when my board was lost however was very good.”

“The gear for Helena, the child, were good. The Gear for Barbara Mui, which was actually for her husband, were poor quality. The boots smelled atrocious, even after asking for them to be further treated, they continued to wreak for the next 4-5 days. The snowboard needed a wax and edges sharpened. For a premium rental, it should have been prepared as such.”

“Board and bindings were excellent. 2020 gear and brand new. Service and advice were fantastic from Eric and Chris at Hirafu Rhythm. They really know there snowboarding. So much so I ended up buying a Yes Typo! It is such a good board.”

“Nice guys and very efficient system. I'd pre-booked and was in and out, fitted in 10 mins. Good having a pickup service too to bring you to the shop from your accommodation.”
